Quote:I am so glad to hear you made it to 50, and I can't wait for Incredible to join you... Gods Protect! So, it took me fifteen and a half months. However!
I am happy to report that at 2:46pm Pacific time today, my main character Malleable Mechanic reached the Level 50 mark: the first of my characters to do so. (Not trained him yet for an RP reason, but he will be.)
I'm disappointed with the screen I took of the "blast of power" (it was right at the tail end after all the flashbang happened) so I won't put it up.
Anyway, note to Q: it's about time. -
Ok, this is the first I have listened to your work Ominous... WOW...
You've got a great voice and good mix skills.
Thanks for the link in the Ustream chat... -
Sorry Onyx didn't make it today,
I got called into work for the uptenth time, and since the army has me working in a building in which I have no windows, phone, or internet, I couldn't exactly let you know till now.
But, I will make it up to you all next Sunday! Thanks for the level up! Gratz on the hard work folks!

Battledog
I vote Dark/Psi because the psionics will fill a gap in our damage types
SambaMike
We could definitly use your help as well. Bring any support or healing you please.we can use it all.

Thanks!
I appreciate all the help I can get on this. I am sincerely trying to lock down a few dozen ideas on how to do different feeling builds with the same 2 primaries.
What I am using now is I dropped unstoppable, (I logged the number of times I used it running the new build, as per Hyperstrike's version, and found I used it once in 2 days of +4x8 w/bosses Close the Dimensional Rupture runs), and Static Discharge. The resulting slots from Unstoppable were rerouted back to Ball Lightning giving it a bit more punch, and I took the first two powers from Leadership with a IO END REDUX in both. This seems to be working well so far. I am at work at the moment and can't upload the build though...
AF_Bill That build looks very interesting, and since I have the extra influence I might make it an alternate build for Build 3 on the character. Is there any reason not to take Leadership: Assault in place of Unstoppable at the lvl 50 slot. As a 1 slotted Unstoppable seems anticlimatic in the build. -
Awesome work,
That was an amazing read. it really did do a good job of creating a fulfilling immersion in the game. -
Everyone is welcome Tramontane, Battledog, I hope to see you both on Sunday.
-
Had a decent turn out of four players for our first Sunday Night Excursion and made it to sixth level in a night. Friendships were made, a bit of intrigue perhaps.
I will be updated the roster shortly. -
Waiting for you in Nova Folks, you know you have that alt just begging you to be levelled and RPed...

I find it odd no one has mentioned the announcement yet, so I will...
On the Anniversary podcast they announced the next Booster Pack will be the STEAMPUNK booster pack. Content known to be included is a Clunker Aura, a new Steam Jump (Ninja Run Equivalent?) power, steam powered back pack, a new steampunk set of wings, a Victorian Aura, new emotes which we havn't seen yet, new face technology, and lots and lots of buckles.
see the disscussion link here http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?p=3615187
((this proves once again, as goes Virtue, so goes the gamejk everyone ))

All the links to the in house forums seem to be broken from the main post...
Thanks.

Okie, well then I geuss we are doing Nova Praetoria since Starflier has a character created for it. See you all there on Sunday @ Noon.
Elvnsword -
As a matter of fact yes, he does have a problem with Old King Cole. A King is his nations sword and shield, not it's beneficiary. Seeing it from outside the gilded cage it is easy to see the cage is just that, a cage.
As for moving to redside and the reasons why, well I was more or less talking about if Starflier we could re-roll the group over on Redside, and I could easiliy rewrite Onyx a bit, but now that you mention it, going over as sleeper agents / Redside Heroes sounds like a sweet deal to me. I havn't done the redside content in FOREVER so it would be a good change. I have a fledgling group we could use as our seed... (Insidious Force) but it has no base to speak of. Between the prestige we gather as a group and the farming I can do with the SG leader toon (Kin/Fire/Pyre Brutethere goes the rest of my weekend), I might be able to get the TPers up and running, but I am absolutely terrible at base design so be forewarned it will be VERY spartan.
As for you Starflier, I can see more the a few story ideas between our two characters, since I am a creature of pure magical creation and you a scientist obsessed with well possibly me... ::laughs:; could be fun...
~Elvnsword -
Well, Onyx is envisioned as a magic stone construct awakened in merry ol england after the fall of mankind, and has travelled the earth searching for humans to protect, only to find them all cowering behind a single tyrant, er... King... so mostly more resistancy... His views being created by seeing things from outside the sonic walls and being forced into working for Cole, or even possibly being seen as a Devouring Earth spy at first.
I would be open to moving this whole thing to Redside if everyone else is as well. The character is easilly rerolled there and I can always rewrite the story a bit Starflier.
What say you Mousedroid?
(the only hitch is I only have a SG facility not a VG... hmmm) -
thanks very much,
I have so much running in my head at the moment for the game lol,
::grins:: -
hmm, , ok, Rule of 5, got it... to much Reactive armor, I thought I had followed the guide to soft capping word for word on that one, but hey, whatever. As for the lack of Stamina, I am running Cardiac Core Paragon on my Alpha slot, so frankly I don't see the point in running stamina anymore... ((Is there a way of flagging what I run in my Incarnate slots in a Mids build?))
As this is a forum for constructive criticism, and I am out searching for help in making my build even better then it is (and trust me this build tears through things, and stands up to everything short of a Lambda gone wrong), I am more then willing to use up one of my alt builds to give your's a shot, and compare how the two actually perform for me in game. Thanks for the feed back. You are right on the Reactive armor call, good catch...

I have an idea for a Static SG made of 7 SS/Inv brutes and a Kinetics Controller. I want the group to be able to run almost identical, or identical min/maxed builds (I have a farmer already on my account so influence and attaining the enhancements for the builds for the group won't be that big a deal). This is the build I am running on my brute at the moment, and it works EXCEEDINGLY well, any help tweaking it to run better and I will make it the template for this new group.
Thanks in advance,

Guten Tag detektiv frietag ... Ich hoffe, es trifft sie gut. Dies ist der erste von vielen Versuchen mit einem Übersetzer, und ein Grund, warum ein Muttersprachler ist notwendig für die City of Heroes Team.
(Translation by Babel Fish, my apologies, as I don't speak German, but I am sure you'll do great here, best wishes!) -
Ok,
So I started a SS/SR build. and I wanted help with it since this is my first foray into SR. Anyone done this before? Anyone worked with this build, or a similar build. I Love SS, and have had a SS/Inv for literally years, and I know this is going to be a vastly diffrent beast.
Any help will be appreciated.
thanks,

I am seeking others interested in doing a Static team on Sundays, starting this coming Sunday, 5/1/2011. The team would be light RP, and generally friendly toward all players who wanted to come. We would be meeting in Praetoria beside Marauder at 1200 EST (Noon).
I will be utilizing the SG I run later for us to have Heroside TP and Medical facilities.

I would love to do something like this should the opportunity arise and I be available. Propose a time, personally I vote for a march through Atlas, ending with a costume contest banazai at the Statue...
