  1. It was a fire/fire scrapper i made for PvE back when they gave fire to scrappers, was never really made for PvP inthe first place. Why i asked if it was worth it. ATM all i have of freedom is my fire/TA corr (that i do love) but would like a heroe for PvP also.
  2. Just a quick Question, I know Fire armor is good with Phase for tanks. But how does it/ will it do for Scrappers. Have a Fire/Fire scrapper was thinking of respecing and moving to Freedom. Wondering if it would be worth it to PvP with it. thanks
  3. I've never been any good at using the set but I have seen people that can do wonders with Invulnerability. So I'm just curious what do people take and what do you set your toon for (+regen, DEF., rechg. ) to make it effective in PvP?

Mostly curious as to how some people can work magic with the set and at the same time some fall a lil short (like I did). Might remake my brute and try it again with double Exp. weekend, will see.

Thanks to any one that can enlighten me on this set.
  4. I play my fire/emp...and im working on my defender... may be the only one in there but damn it the number of fenders in RV cant be zero!

    Difficult Choice

I would go with Leaping pool, I have a scrapper that only has SS and the only reson I can catch any one is cause of webnads. well I guess you could go with Mace epic and grab web envelope and FA for persep. Just my 2 cents.
  6. Lol not the first time some one has called one of my builds "diffrent" macskull. Was there any thing that really hit you as "what the heck"? I know I hit 45 KB but is DR going to screw me over again and drop it below 41? and is choking cloud just useless so i should just swap it out for WoC.

I only have 1 LotG and didn't really slot LR so it slows ppl, are these the things that you are talking about?

Wow.... I didn't even see that dominate did that much damage. But before I say much more though I should probaly show what I had in mind. Only think that i really don't like is not having any persep. But wanted phase for the oh crap button.
    Err well here it is..

I might be one of the few but I kinda look for black_barrier's replys. Might not be the kindest posts but there normaly helpful and to the point.

I had a feeling I would have to team often, and I am thinking of going the Phase path over tactics. i was thinking speed, jumping, fitness and consealment for power pools.
  10. I started a Rad/Psy defender since I moved form Vic to Freedom and was only going to use her for PvE but have been thinking more and more of turning her into a PvP toon.

I like Zone PvP (since i have a hard time getting into arena) and am still getting use to the population of freedom in the zones. But my question is can I stand on my own two feet in a fight, or should I just go with teaming?

As for a build think i'll worry about that at lv50, and I know i have to shoot for 1500HP and phase.

    Thanks for any advise

I respec out of spirit shark and picked up shadow meld on my regen and I love it. Helps out more than you would think for regen also.
  12. Hello people. I play on Victory so theres not that many that PvP any more, and I don't think i have ever seen a /TA corr. there mostly elec/therm but i want to try some thing diffrent.

Am I wasting 100% of my time making a fire/TA for PvP or not? Any pointers or input would be welcome.

If it don't work out I'm having more fun in PvE with it than i thought i would.

    elec/therm corr

Not a lot to a elec/therm. MA and HE then zap there blue bar away. CoX gives respecs our like candy so find out what works for you, copy and pasteing someone elses build isn't really your elec/therm.
  14. I would go with the PB. I have a lot of fun PvPing her, and i run human/nova.
  15. Was wondering if i could get some help with my stone/SS tank for PvP since he is almost 50 and i would like to take him in RV. Atm i have Stone Armor,Minerals Crystal Armor and GA should i just drop all the others for RV and just take Granite Armor or keep then for when i'm not getting ganked. i intend on IOing him up with Rechg. Just wondering what should stay away from for PvP and what i might want to look at. i'm not looking to copy and paste some one elses toon just a litle bit of a guild.
  16. Don't worry Victory PvP is on the dieing also, i sadly started playing on Freedom so there would be ppl.
