Quote:I wonder who owned those thingsMine is in that little blue glowing cylinder behind City hall. It is a big base though because we have doors in pretty much every part of the city. For some odd reason though the exit and entrances are not in the same location.
I remeber when SG bases were rolling out and hoping that you could somehow tag any location in the city as an entrance. I so wanted to make the tram transfer tunnels around the city my SG base entrace, particulalry that big pile of dirt or rock the tram cuts through in Talos heading toward PI.
Speaking for which, I've also though about making one long sorta narrow SG base and just describing it as a mobile base of operations that travels on the same rails.
Indeed, very impressive. -

See my link below for a pic of the building (the big building just after the KR exit), but the JA SG base is situated below the main ACADI campus. Formerly it was a secret guv'a'ment atomic testing bunker. After the war it was abandoned, then when ACADI was formed and purchased the property, it was renovated into a high energy testing facility, now its on loan to the Justice Avengers as thier head quarters.
Here are few shots;
The main corridor bisected by a big heavy duty blast door, just to the left is a high energy/multi-environment containment area
Outside the control room (blast door closed to the right, and experimental ACADI reverse engineered pillar of ice and flame.
Base Power Supply
Med Bay with Isolation room off to the right
Entrace to the SG conference room

Blasters, specifically an nrg/nrg blapper - thats living life on the edge, especially when you forego most of your knockback attacks.

You to Sam, I generally get that when I hang out in a PvP zone (nevermind I have thematic build that is anything but optimized)
-
I hope they go this route, my tech hero would be mightily dissappointed if all of a sudden he had to start believing in a "superior being" just to keep pace.

Also would also like these sexy draws as a costume option for;
my robotic toons.

Bu...bu...but its how I get all red side on the blue side.
-
I'd like a really frigg'n big cloak, one that would make Spawn, Moon Knight, Dr. Strange and well Cloak jealous.

A ranged pool for melee types? That'd bone ranged squishies unless there was a make'em tough power set.
anyways, it'll be interesting how the incarnate stuff will work out.
EDIT: Daygonit, in reference to a post way up there. -
Quote:Hell yeah! please please please please please have a kick *** tech staff when it goes live!"There are other new powersets "on the whiteboard" that will make it into future expansions, including staff use"
BAM!
I suppose it'll be two-handed, but it would be killer if you could get a style choice (like in D&D with rangers) and go one handed as well and combine it with the shield set (I'm looking at you vanguard costume sets). -
Quote:Daygonit! Forgot about that rascal, and I was so impressed when I first ran that TF with my blaster. Used to the other big critters in the game, I hovered to right about where I figured was max range and got mysnipe ready then.... nothing. I had to move closer and that spider got alot bigger.oh we have a giant spider didn't you know. The jade spider http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/File:JadeSpider1.jpg.
It is in one of the oura TFs it's huge and super tough
Anyways what I really meant to say was, we dont have Rularru, cause everybody knows Rularru is the most dangerous insect in the insect kingdom(and he's really big too).
INDEED! -
Quote:Nope, I have an L42 whose only travel power is ninja run (claws/willpower scrapper). He's great fun and with the possible exception of the Shard (without taking a jet pack) I haven't had any problems getting around the city in a timely fashion. Now, this is a deliberate choice on my part. The Natural Booster was out, and the Ninja Run's animations and better-than-average travel speed suited the concept perfectly. Had I gimped myself? I'd never really taken a character this way before.
Actually I have a few characters who are "gimped" in that fashion. -
Quote:Founders is where I play my favorite mini-game; "Smash the Crey Snipers"!Brickstown is always my level 30-40 levelling zone. I hate Founders so much.
The buildings are spaced just right for hoping around (made all the more fun by ninja run) and you have to keep your wits about you as you engage the enemy since you could be the target of two or more snipers if you aren't careful.
It's to bad they don't award a badge for killling say, 200 Crey Snipers in the Gaspee from the rooftops
IMO maybe thats what they need to do with the hazard zones at least, introduce a mechanic like the shivans, or the warburg nuke to entice people to play in the zones. -
A) No street cred
B) No giant spiders
C) No polar bears.
Give CO* Street Cred, Polar Bears, and Giant Spiders and this game will RULE the MMO market! -
Nobody ever pays me in bubble gum
-
Que video game rental commercial.
And it doesn't bother me as well, hell I'd love to see players get all the vet perks at L50 just on the off chance somebody would post; "I've been paying to play this game for XX years... pissy mood... pissy mood... yadda... yadda... yadda -
Thank you
Quote:I agree, we need just a bit more variation on the robot thighs, something just a little less human looking.
Oh and--Great minds think alikeBefore my old system detonated I ran into another player who had a pretty snappy robot as well. I too ka few screenshoots but alas, I did not save them.
It was steampunk based IIRC.
