I got asked to send my systemprofile of mac this morning - there is hope!
& At cuppa: I did the 1024 one, doing 800x600 right now to see if it changes.
update: no success -
Done 3 TFs today - the game was very playable, the cursor is a minor setback but I got used to it. Was happy with that to be honest.
But after the 3rd TF we disbanded and I thought I'd go unlock cimerora, then my issue kicked in - it takes me about 10 mins & a lot of luck to select available missions & that's not even accepting the mission yet :/
I really hope for a hotfix within a few days to let us enjoy double xp weekend -

HMm if I understood it correctly, I don't think I have that particular bug - so might be local? (not sure)
Edit: this bug also occurs to me in caves apparantly - pretty annoying -
Quote:Didn't solve my mouse issues1. I would like to apologize for any real harshness on my last post. I was EXTREMELY ticked off when I wrote it
2. From what I have gathered....upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard doesn't really solve much......is this true? Granted I have Tiger....but still.....
I fixed the macdrv on leopard 10.5.8 - so there's a workaround
I never had the crashing issue (thank god) - so can't comment here.
*still begging for a fix - spent 6 mins clicking till I finally managed to click train up to next level, guess what went RWZ next & tried accepting starting mish there*
Edit: got reply from NCSoft their reply: "Does the problem persist when you run this in windowed mode?"
no real help there yet -
well it didn't have those troubles yesterday - I think there's an end I just hope I can bring this to a dev's attention for a (hopefully) faster resolve. As making this game unplayable whilst paying for it is hell
Just done 2 TF's, they're playable I mean with minor setbacks (did most of the work on my keyboard now) but now that I leveled up I'm not so comfortable anymore...
edit: I spent 6 full minutes of clicking till I finally managed to level up - I feel happy, yet so sad -
Hi
I hope I can get to the devs with this medium - as imo that is not certain.
Anyway - as you may have noted alot of macusers have a mousebug
-The mouse will jump to another location whenever it's on a border of a box that can be enlarged, made smaller, whenever you're on the map, whenever you try to select a target.-
Now I know this might not be an easily fixable situation - but I kindly ask to let something hear from you, as it looks rather dim to me at the moment.
Lots of mac users (CuppaManga has found out most of them with an intel GMA card) have this given issue and even a "yes we're aware if the issue and working on it" would do for me. So I/we atleast know you're trying to find a solution, or maybe workarounds to make the game playable again.
ps.: I'd also like to thank CuppaManga for his time and dedication to help macusers - his threads have been helpful in numerous cases. -
Huh what do you mean turn around? like rotate when trying to click or actually move left and right?
(with the keyboard right?)
Tried some stuff with my mouse:
-Using my mousetrackpad didn't work
-Safe mode fullscreen & windowed mode didn't work with mouse, mousetrackpad, mighty mouse (i got a separate mouse & keyboard for my external monitor)
-Same as above in normal mode with normal resolutions
-Tried dragging the box I wanted to enlarge (chatbox) to the place the mouse jumps & aligned it with where I touch it & where mouse jumps after. No success, the mouse would just jump to the top of the box. -
Quote:Yesterday night/This morning I had Leopard osx (10.5.8) - mouse bug started after patch went live. Are all of you with problems using a Macbook with Leopard and the Intel GMA video?
Any of you using Snow Leopard with a Macbook and the Intel GMA video?
Today I purchased Snow Leopard (updated to 10.6.1 now) - mouse bug persists sadly enough
I'm using one of those white macbooks with the intel GMA 3100
(2,4 Ghz Intel core 2 duo processor, 4GB 667 MHz DRR SDRAM)
I can provide you with more info if you need it -
The preference thingy was only for macdrv - not for mousesettings.
update: as of now I got osx 10.6.1 - but the jumpy mouse issue, so many mac users got with the last update, hasn't been resolved sadly enough -

- A rare issue width Leopard (10.5.8) that causes Cider not to load with an error loading "macdrv" listed in the console log. This issue is very rare and has *maybe* been noted once, but never duplicated. It has occurred with other Cider-based ports.Quote:Hi - I just had & resolved this issue
I downloaded Vidiotmaps map pack for mac issue 12 & it messed up my game: I could not mouse over my map or my mouse would go haywire, and I could not come close to any edge on my hud or my mouse would go haywire once again.
So I thought - let's uninstall, reinstall & done.
problem 2: I uninstalled, but after reinstalling I couldn't load up CoH - when I loaded it via cider (inside the contents) it said that macdrv error.
What I did was - I tried downloading the testserver & see if I had an issue with it - guess what no issue.
But when I tried with my CoH client - the same issue would go on.
I simply deleted my CoH Preferences (inside the library(finder>name>library>preferences>coh...))
And voila suddenly my loader popped up after running it again and I could patch my game to run on my mac without the macdrv issue.
I hope this helps some people with this issue - as I'm not sure this is a fix for 100% of the cases, it just fixed it for me. -

Console log message: "Could not load graphics driver 'macdrv'" symptom leading to CoH failing to load on recent Macbooks.
A thread for another game using the Cider engine outlines it in here. I'm putting one Mac user here through steps to see if their issue is the same or not.
