This is a build i threw together that isnt too expensive. My 50 dm/sr is a very expensive build. I finished him off over a year ago. Purples were alot cheaper at that time. Right now...in my opinion...purples are just are not worth the HUGE price tag. I came up with a good build that is purple free.

A good build. I just got my claws/invul to 50 last week. I went the very cheap route and he is incredible. I do not have much recharge in him...i don't feel i really needed it.
I have a few suggestions.
1)Take spin asap. Do not wait to lvl 26. It might be the best brute aoe. 6 slot spin...you want as much damage,acc,end and recharge as possible.
I put 4 eradication and 2 sirrocco dervish in both spin and eviserate. You get some awesome bonus'. 1.8 max end, 3.13 def to enegy/negative, 33.7 hp ,and 10% regen. Times that by 2 and those are some very nice numbers.
2)Instead of Decimation set in focus put in a set of thunderstrike set instead. Thunderstrike set is ALOT cheaper than decimation and it has a energy def bonus and a rec bonus. I am assuming you want the decimation set for the 6.25 recharge bonus.
3)The kinetic combat sets are real expensive and thats assuming that there are any available on the BM. I used the smashing haymaker sets instead. The def bonus is half but they are fairly abbundant and cheap. I got my defenses up to 35% and with invincibility i am way passed soft cap.
I also put 2 pounding slugfest to go with the 4 smashing haymakers. Just 2 slots give you a 8% regen bonus.
4)Do brutes really need assault??

I suggest taking shadow maul. The animation time is really bad but it is a real hard hitter and its your only fast charging aoe. The cone is small but you would be surprised how many enemys it can hit.
Also i would definitly find a happy medium of damage and healing in siphon life. It is a very hard hiiting attack. -
Also i should have mentioned that i rarely get to play before 9 Pm pac time. I realize that there are less people on at that time.

LoL. Sorry. I capitlize out of habit. I am a programmer and i have to capitilize certain words or phrases so that the machine i am programming for will understand certain words. I now have a really bad habit of capitilzing key words.

I have been playing COX since shorty after COV went live(I 6) and i play COV exclusivly. I took a break from the game in early January of this year and came back in August. I play mostly on 2 servers...FREEDOM AND INFINITY.
When i left the game FREEDOM was very populated and INFINITY was a ghost town. On FREEDOM it became harder harder to get on mission teams past level 40 because all anyone wanted to do was farm the NEMESIS mission. This is a big reason why i took a break from the game since i am not a fan of farming.
When i came back in August things were even worse. This time AE farms were all that anyone would do. INFINITY was even less populated than before. Even FREEDOM'S population was way down from January. I decided to stay because i was really looking foward to I16.
When I16 went live the AE farms went away but the poulations were still way down. Then a funny thing happened.....after double XP weekend things started to pick up. Now there seem to be alot more people on INFINITY and on FREEDOM people actually want to do missions past level 40. Has anyone else noticed this too??
I know alot of people don't like the new sidekick feature but i think its awesome. It is so much easier to put teams together now. I also love the new difficulty settings. I am leveling faster than ever.
I think this game is really starting to turn around. What are everyone elses thoughts?? -
My main is a DM/SR brute. He has no trouble at all getting agro. DM can be godly but it needs IO help. In my opion DM is the king of ST damage brute side.
I have not played a DM/SD toon but on paper it looks like they go very well together. Soul drain and against all odds together seems like pure awesomeness. -

I Have a really cool concept in mind for a Stone/shield brute. I even made up a pretty good build on mids.
My question is...is this toon worth rolling?? Is there any synergy?? I am concerned about the endurance useage.
I am also considering an elec/shield brute. Would this be a better option??
What primary goes well with /shields?? I allready have a 50 SS,claws, and DM brute. I'd like to try a new primary with shields. I have a WM/shield brute sitting at level 12 and hes kinda boring to me.
I would appriciate any feed back and suggestions.

I have a DM/EA brute that i am working on. Here is my 2 cents.
1)I took shadow Maul simply because of lack of AOE'S. It is very skippable though. If you don't like the long animations...skip it.
With all the changes to DM last year when I13 went live i dont think too many people go for the "buzzsaw" DM anymore. I still loaded Shadow punch with Damage procs though on my DM/SR brute.
2)With Energy Drain's much faster recharge times....Dark Consumption is not needed at all.
3)You might want to go with Ghost Widow's Patron Powers. Darkest Night is a great debuff that goes quite nicely with EA. The - to hit debuff really helps when fighting large groups...especially if you solo alot.
