  1. Truly joyous news. My best to you and your new family. Cherish every second of time you have with her, before you know it, she will be gone from your life on a regular basis. Make the most of the time you are given with her.

Spin is doing a wonderful job on inking

    Agreed!

I colored Kitty Kool earlier since there was a color reference left.

Spin suggested in a PM I do a "Color a Day" thread...I'm considering it but still trying to figure out the best way to get the color references of the stuff he's inking

    Kool!
  3. It does indeed sound like a great project. Best wishes and congratulations to you on the excitement, fun and hard work!

    All the best.

    A Derek WIP

I really like the way your style is evolving Derek--you are looking super, truly super these days.
  5. Well, I must say I'd really like to see Crimehawk on a Calendar:

I love the concept and the first one is great!

    Ink a day ?

Great work! All of them are super, but, I like Back Alley Scrapper, Baby Tank Girl, and Kakau best.

This is going to be an awsome thread!
  7. Thank you Pep and a great job too!

Happy Christmas right back at you!

    Rant

I've had the same problem for like 30 years (not to depress you) -- don't let it get you down. You, no doubt, have other talents that tip in your favor.

That's what I keep telling myself.
  9. If Rowr keeps that up Santa's gonna end up on his own naughty list.

    No, really, he will.
  10. Thank you. Since no one will ever ask me to draw so much as a stick figure for them (besides my stick figures appear to have been drawn by a drunk with a damaged pencil) it is the least I can do to give back to the joy this forum section has given me.

I bow to the many talented and generous artists and other creative folks practicing here on the board that make this one of my favorite places to hang out on the internet in a very long time.

    Happy Holidays to all!

    Dirk

    BTW:

The two themes I've done so far (Ms. Veil and Thor's Assassin) are available for listening with some of my other work at:

    http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...m?bandID=69398

If someone else would like a theme song, I'm not fast right now, but I am free and will start a queue.

If you are interested please send me a PM and I'll reply ASAP.
  11. I think it's great!

    Very charming.

    Posting music?

Unfortunately it seems they must be turned into movies:

    Have fun.

Of your actual designs this is my favorite so far. Of course, you didn't say anything about mine, so our tastes are probably quite different.

My second favorite of your designs is the purple one.

    FWIW
  15. Practice with anyone in the photobucket area--all are free for your practice (or anyone else for that matter):

  16. I tried to stick with your black and yellow design--though it's difficult not to look like a wasp or bee of some sort:

    http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...phon/electric/

I know I used fire stripe and the three sawblades, but they aren't usually used for electric, and yet, I think they represent it fairly well.

That's a no background throw it out there kind of thing.

    Have fun and good luck.
  17. Please consider this encouragement to continue -- this is some great stuff!

    Keep the fun coming!
