I heard a rumor the other day that the reason why Emperor Cole invaded Primal Earth is that he wanted the Olympics to be hosted in Praetoria.
I still say First Ward would NOT be the ideal place for such an event. -
I am not a bare-bottomed brazen-baffoon, Inigo Montoya.

...I just had a thought.
The Rikti defeated the Battalion apparently by getting rid of their gods, magic, the Well, etc.
Will we... be able to defeat the Battalion without doing the same...? -
For that matter Ghost Widow, Ghost of Scrapyard, Numina and Woodsman should also be removed from the game, right?
-
Did you hear about that scandal about the weightlifter who was abusing Superadyne?
They caught him GREEN-handed!
....That was not funny. -
Iron Man-esque weaponized suits. (Although that might be hard to make into a power set in addition to being a potential TM violation waiting to happen.)
I would also love Metal Armor/Metal Melee powersets.
And Light Blast. -
I pictured the Battalion to be more or less similar to Rularuu in appearance. I mean Rularuu has that "Supreme God" look to him, right?

Bad idea: Having 100+ Hero/Villain merits before going Rogue/Vigilante
Good idea: Watching the Twitch TV Coffee Talks when you can. -
Bad idea: Using the help channel to spam RMT advertisements.
Good idea: /ignore_spammering any of those said messages. -

At least /emote russiandance and /emote ballerina
/emote macarena and /emote ymca would be great too. -
Bad idea: Doing an Incarnate Trial with AE/DFB babies.
Good idea: Waiting patiently for I24 beta. -
Quote:Ever since I10 I've wanted an Arachnos/Longbow invasion event in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles respectively.Maybe a little reverse logic would work... A team of villains successfully completes the LRSF with all of the signature heroes defeated and in Hospital recovering Lord Recluse uses the lack of defense to launch an attack on Steel Canyon? Heroes complete a succesful STF and Statesman and the gang rush to the Rogue Isles to attack while the Arachnos forces are in chaos? Then just vary it so one time it launches AVs and then next GMs or keep it just like that anniversary event and have a combination of both.

Quote:Particularly sea monsters. I mean, it's a chain of islands, right? So sea monsters make sense.but the only place that needs bigger giant monsters is redside. Blueside's monsters are large enough, but redside is severely lacking in this department.
Also, more flying monsters. I think the only ones we have are the Arachnos Flyer (which technically isn't a 'monster.') and the Seed of Hamidon. -
Actually, that picture reminds me of that scene from the comics where that Circle mage puts Sister Psyche (and the rest of the Freedom Phalanx) to sleep.

Hrrm... Not my favorite way of doing that but in case you didn't realize, by making me immortal, you have made it possible for me to outlive you... And you will die... eventually...
I give to the next person a pirate flag. -
Quote:Is there a Praetorian Blue Steel, W.I.S.D.O.M., or Castle, Scirocco, Captain Mako or Black Scorpion? Are they not that important? Maybe they died fighting the Hamidon Wars? The idea of Praetorian Penny's mind seems to fit the picture. Could it be that "fix everything" also refers to the loose plot threads from the Praetorian storyline? There seem to be more than a few.
I think that I have run all the Praetorian arcs and missions now but there still seem to be missing pieces. Have not run the new SSA though.
My questions are:
(possibly spoiler-ish for some people)
What happened to Penny after she talked to you in the Night Ward mission?
Who are the angelic figures seen around Night Ward?
Now that the Resistance has won, is everyone screwed when Hamidon returns?
Pendragon's got to figure into some new storyline.
Where are the various key figures in Praetoria now, Loyalist or Resistance? (I loved seeing many of them in the Emperors Sword arc.)
Anyone else have loose plot threads that need to be "fixed" in i24?
Will we, if not in I24, then eventually fight Praetorian Hamidon? -

Kinda think Caltrops would've been more useful to a powerset like this instead of Martial Assault.
-
I meant to say that Spines would probably work well for Bio Armor thematically. It might not necessarily work for all character concepts.

Sorry to slightly derail this thread, but actually we are being teased more by I24 and the lack of an overview page and the knowledge that a LOT of awesome stuff will come with the Issue.

Quote:Yes, I wish that was possible... but wishes are not always reality. The seers in Praetoria sometimes have their arms bound to their side, can we have a "chest" option that activates this feature, locking the arms into a position like this?
Also, can we have something silimar for legs, in two different forms? I'm thinking floating standing vertically (to give the appearance that I never touch the ground) and sitting (invisible wheelchair!) which could then be coupled with this next thing:
wheelchairs, hoverchairs, and jump-jet leg attachments, for handicapped persons who wish to continue their superheroics!
(this would be really awesome for everyone, because you could roleplay out a hero's injuries rather than hand-waving them away!) -
