Alright TA, it's been a while since I've done a piece for you. It's been even longer since I did a good piece for you .

Here is the rough draft of Thor's Assassin in my new style.

Do I sense art? M'kay, I've drawn things for TA, and I'm working on a new pic for him. This is the best Coldfire pic I have.

I've noticed that when I draw I never draw straight, there is always a tilt to the picture, that'll probably help a lot.

And yet more floods in.

This isn't a rehashed Becky, it's a completely different sketch. I'm just experimenting with her clothing and hair. I like this one a lot better though.

Anyways, thanks for the compliments. And as for the tilt, my scanner has a tendancy to bend the paper as it scans it. I need a laser scanner...

Oh, and yes, I'll be drawing TA anyways just because. *waits for TA to show up at the sound of art*

Thanks, but my art as it was didn't cut it for me. I always wanted to do comic book esque stuff, and this is the next step for me. My old art was okay, but I think this is a great improvement.

Or at least I think I am...

This pose is taken directly from the CoH comic just so you guys know. I took the pose and used it to get a more comic booky feel to Becky. I think that she generally looks stronger and she has a more adult look to her. I've been trying for a while to get a good comic book style going, and I think I finally got it.

Any suggestions are welcome, I want this to come out well.

EDIT: Who wants to take bets on how long it takes for TA to ask me for art?

Thanks a bunch. As for the picture and its angles and the broken arm. I didn't notice that while drawing it and need to fix it. Anyways, I got tired of drawing bland, straight forward shots. If you ever see my original work, that's all it was. I hate those pictures now and I can't bring myself to do that stuff anymore. As soon as I fix the elbow, it should be fine though.

Coldfire is excellent, the proportions are great, and it's a more natural looking pose.

Becky on the other hand needs some work in terms of proportions and posture. Her head is about 3 times too small for her height and body. Rounding out the height with hair just don't cut it Her arms are way thin - especially if she's hefting a sword (even a small one). I'm not a big fan of the 'resting a sharp object on my shoulder' thing, though I know it's common enough in major art - it would cut her in half Basically check out a baseball player or cricket player to get a pose similar to that one, and see how the hips tilt. Pretty much the proportions on arms, fingers and head are off. Otherwise I like her face, shadowed and moody. She looks like a cool character in any case.

Keep drawing! Any opportunity to draw is good

Well, with her, because there are so many problems with the picture, I'll be completely redoing it. As for the sword, I would like to point out that she essentially has superstrength and the sword is created with mental power, somewhat like Psylocke, and thus weighs nothing.

I'm sorry to everyone who was excited about my group pic, but it is permanently delayed until I have more time to work on it. Because of time constraints, issues at home, and my job, I haven't been able to work on anything but sketches. So far, I only have two and I figured I'd post since I've improved a bit since my last post. The two pictures I have are:

The more recent Coldfire Kaiser , which I think is far superior.

And Becky Morningstar , which has flaws I'm not proud of. Too broad of shoulders, face issues, and the sword is uneven.

I'm open to criticism because I realize there are a lot of flaws in my artwork and because I plan on inking and coloring these pieces because I really like them.

Coldfire impaled a zombie with his ice sword and quickly ducked, as a zombie lunged at him tripping over him, a quick fireball later and both were scorched corpses.

"One moment." Coldfire said, immediately dropping from the sky, slamming his heavy motorcycle boots into the metal flooring of the hangar.

Throwing fireballs in multiple directions destroying ghouls as quickly as he could, Coldfire was intent on saving someone before this was over.

"Nice to see other survivors!" Coldfire exclaimed, "Enjoying yourself?"

The sarcasm in Coldfire voice was obvious, he wasn't a funny man. He was actually very cold and ruthless. He would be surprised if the three he had just met would even think about helping them.
