There was a scrapper using judgement who was claiming to land criticals with his judgment. Whether this is true or not, I was unable to determine but who knows.

I was actually pretty surprised that the def boost on battle orb is only 5% when that seems to be it's main function. I think the NPC version grants a 16% boost so I was expecting something along the same lines considering this is an incarnate power on a 15min timer. Looks like I'll be going the Vicky/ACU route for dmg.

Curious if anyone has any numbers info on lore support pets. I'm interested in Battle Orbs mainly but I'll take info on any of them. I know that there ate various Battle Orb npcs, some with a def bubble, RES bubbles, etc.. Any idea which bubble the lore pet provides?

There's a good amount of -end attacks on trial enemies that I've found myself switching to Cardiac for now. When I get the +2 level shifts I'll give musculature another go.

My favorite part was the 30 second cast time on the Mini-HVAS pet. Superb!

Can we begin a new thread called '11 hours downtime'?

It's usually about a 3-4 month span between issues so an April release doesn't come as a huge surprise. However, it's still exciting to actually have concrete information now.

Next week?? Suddenly, the Hecatomb I lost in the rollback doesn't seem so bad anymore.
...Okay, it still KINDA stings. -
Logged in to find that the Hecatomb I found last night is missing due to rollback.
WORST I20 EVER. -
Has it even gone to the test server yet? I know it's been on Beta server and it's now in an open status. In the past, all issues have hit the test server before release. Is the Beta server now considered the new Test server for issue releases?

This is the same approach that I took with my crab and I'm doing just fine. Sure you'll need to pop some blues every now and then but you'll probably have them on hand so it's not a big deal. For big endurance emergencies I can always use a recovery serum or Geas accolade and I'm back in the game.

I know that the Cardiac alpha is very popular among the SoA crowd because of it's heavy endurance use. Personally, with all the IO and accolade bonuses I've accumulated I find that I can run pretty well without it so I opted for Musculature instead. I realize that I'm in the minority here but now with word of Judgement and Lore slots being affected only by Alpha, has anyone began reconsidering their choice of Cardiac?
I've found that the extra 30ish% (after ED) damage I get from Musculature does provide a decent punch to my attacks and to my 6 pets as well. With Judgement being a high dmg attack, the +45% dmg from T4 musculature will only make it that much better as well as the additional 2 pets I'll be spawning with Lore. Cardiac will seems like it'll be wasteful for boosting those two slots.
I do, however, recognize the benefit of Cardiac for builds who aren't fully IO'd and such, but I get the feeling that most SoA automatically go with Cardiac because it's the 'safe' Alpha to guarantee that you'll never drop below 95% END, but is it really worth it?
On a side note, does anyone else find it insane that Interface will also apply to pets as well? Myself, 6 spiders, 2 lore pets, all with secondary effects tacked on. Yeesh. -
Cardiac is what you'll find most crabs running. I went with Musculature because even with 8 toggles I can manage my end just fine. Going with spiritual kills my end and I already have high recharge and a perfectly good attack chain.
T4 musculature gives me and my spider army an approximate 30% dmg boost so I just see it as running a second helping of double assault.
Also, I'll have a T4 cardiac next week for when I want to play it safe. -
Are they brand new animations or do all the powers use the same animation?
-
You can see all the animations for yourself at the tailor or new character creator in the POWERS section.
No, several of them are two-handed. -
Lookin' to build a bane build in my crab's alternate build slots and just looking for some general advice.
Any general tips to get me going in the right direction? Venom Grenade looks tempting but I'd kinda prefer sticking with all mace attacks for theme and redraw issues. Any banes out there who run venom grenade in their build and if so, how well does it work out for you? Are the mace blast powers worth it? They seem a bit lackluster in mids, but maybe I'm wrong. Should I take placate for additional critical damage or does that kinda slow down the banes playstyle?
Any other info/advice would be appreciated. Thanks. -
The only issue with slotting it in Tactics is that it'll just trigger randomly (selling enhancements, chatting in Atlas Park, etc..). If you slot it in Build-Up, it'll at least run the 5% chance when you actually need it. I can see the pros and cons for both slotting methods though.

Finding 20 Vahz in Faultline doesn't take too long. Finding 20 with 3 other teams around will delay things slightly... maybe what, 5-10 mins? I think this situation is being slightly blown out of proportion.
