Exchanged completed... you want some too, Fu Leng? Just gimma a call.
-
Hey General, in the future, I'd apreciate it if you didn't waste my time by inviting me along on a team you're unwilling to let me on to...
Also, if you don't mind me pointing it out, it seems somewhat ridiculous to hold a grudge when you can't even remember what you're angry at me for. -
Hmm, I wouldn't mind having a million or two extra on my main Villain... and I think I can spare a bit with my hero.
Either one of you wanting a transfer, just suggest a time and a place, and I'll be there... -
I guess I do need that badge... alright, I'm in. Level 38 (possibly 39 by the) Necro/Dark Mastermind.
Better write it down in my calendar, though... last time I signed up for a respec-trial, I ended up forgetting it and missed it. -
QUITE certain. I've got a 'failure' souvenir called 'The Fall of Mole Point Bravo' instead of 'Last Stand at Mole Point Bravo", and no arc-bonus (which would, incidentally, have been a VERY nice help for getting to 39...)
Some arcs have failable missions that they 'coast' over, but if you fail the last mission of the arc, you fail the arc. This was the last mission of the arc.
Did I mention that I absolutely can't STAND failing missions? That last time I failed an Arc (That was the 'Project: World Wide Red' Malta-arc in CoH), I nearly quit the game altogether? The bit that makes me detest it so intensely is that it's PERMANENT. It's a spot on my carefully-built character that can never be washed off. There's no Retry, no Load, no Continue, no do-over short of raising another character to 38... meaning that even though I take him to 50, he'll never be 'complete', and I'm a hard-bitten perfectionist - that's why I badge-hunt.
Screw this... I'm taking a break from the game. I think I'll pick up Manhunt for the PS2, might help me work off some agressions. See you all in a month, or so... -
Well, that was a short farm. Thanks a bloody lot, now I'm stuck with a Failed Arc on my main complete-everything Villain. You better believe it's gonna be a LONG time before I offer to use one of my missions for farming again...
Morons. The enemies were GREY for chrissake, how the [censored] could you let Rimsey die?!? -
Ugh... the whole GMT/BST/Daylight Saving Time thing can really confuse me... but i THINK I'm running late?
-
You sure those 'personal reasons' have nothing to do with the D.O.A Big Badge Bonanza that was just announced to take place at exactly the same time..? >_>
-
Seems like there's at least enough interest to create a boss-spawning team...
Unless anybody protests, we'll meet at 6 PM BST, friday, at Naylor's portal if possible.
Those of you who aren't showing your Global Handles in your sigs, could you please mention them? Makes it much easier to rally the forces. -
Okay, just picked up Naylor's Firebase Zulu mission on my level 38 Mastermind... that's right, the one with Rularuu in it. IIRC, it used to be the only mission that would let villains get the badge, but isn't there some new missions in the 40+ area nowadays with Rularuu in 'em?
Either way, I just thought I'd see if there's enough interested villains to make it possible to farm the mission for the eyeball-dudes. If there's enough people, I figure it'll run Friday evening. (Unless there's a whole bunch of people who wants to join but can't Friday, or something). -
Sounds like a good opportunity do dance on his spine will yelling "That's what you get for giving me all those [censored] socks, ya fat old *******!"
-
Because their statistics showed that it was unnecessary.
And as Mark Twain put it: "There are threee kinds of lies: Lies, damned lies, and statistics." -
The Inspiration Dispenser is unlocked by obtaining the first SG Healing badge. So you need to have healers in the SG, healing a lot on the higher levels, while in SG mode, for a long time, before you can get it.
So you'd better kick out all those Forcefield/Sonic/Trick Arrow Defenders. They're worthless. W3 n33d 4 h34lz0r!!!
Note: The above is satire. I like buff/debuff sets a lot, and have a Forcefield Defender myself. I'm just annoyed that the Devs decided to make a bunch of badges exclusively for healers, including 3 SG-healing badges that unlocks extremely worthwhile hardware. -
Dunno if I can match you piece-for-piece - for starters, I've got no Components - but I do have some mixed tech lying around the base storage, that I'd love to exchange for some more arcane. Name a time and a place...

Anything I've missed so far?

Yeah. Positron says that he won't spawn in a low-level zone, as in below level 20. That means Mercy is out and Cap is chancy. Above that, most of the people are in Grandeville, which would explain why that's the only place he seems to pop up... -
Reformed? AFAIK, none of the Pocket D missions are conductive towards obtaining that particular badge - you'll need a friendly Mind or Plant Dominator and some time in the PvP zones for that...
You can, however, obtain Coldhearted and the Hordeling Lasher Gladiator on the same mission as the Weed Wacker... -
I wouldn't mind joining in with my level 50 BS/DA scrapper, providing there's no scheduling conflicts... I guess it depends on exactly when 'after dinner' is.
-
I doubt we'll get it... seems we're getting a RPS championship instead. Weeee...
-
Providing that there's an SK slot available, I'd like to join... level 36 currently, but I'll be 37 by then (and fully decked out with +3 SO's.
)
Necro/Dark Mastermind named Vrykola, global is @BlackDragon. -
I really need Numina, too, but I'm 3 levels short on the appropriate alt... time to hit the grindstone, I guess.
-
Off to a good start, I'd say... see you all at 5 tomorrow.
-
Not at all - admittedly, at that level, you'd be able to get the mission yourself - but nonetheless, you'd be welcome. See you in half an hour...
-
Not everybody has a level 45+ Hero, and not everyone who DOES, is interested in punching Jell-O, especially concidering how ming-bogglingly boring it is, how easily it can be ruined by a single griefer, and the numerous hoops you must jump through to reduce the lag which will be humongous anyway.... I, for one, is singularly uninterested in Hamidon - the guy doesn't even award a badge, ya know?
So ya. If you're missing Demonslayer but would rather raid Hamidon, that's your choice. Mission runs at 8 as planned. -
Guess it's just you'n me... hope you don't mind being exemplared, then. Although I guess that DOES mean that I'd be wise to spawn him as an EB...
See you tonight at 8.
