Having had one more than one "For the love of God! You people have phones why do I have to FedEx across 3 zones and 2 rails lines?!?" before our base had teleporters to all the zones, this made me whoop. It makes getting from Lagville to Mercy so much less of a chore.

Baator's worshipers long ago were killed off, and he faded from existance. He has been brought back a necromancer, mostly to serve as a distraction as Baator is anything but subtle.
He's finding himself slowly getting used to this world, and changing with the times. Right now, he's angling to become the god of Beer, Cigars, Hockey, and Pretzels. And all gods need someone to Herald their arrival.
OOC: Baator is an Axe/WP brute; he uses a Rikti axe. The Herald of Baator is a Demon/Dark MM -

I really hope it goes live this week
While job having is great, my favorite time to play is late afternoon and I'm kind of at work/trying to get home from work then.
Being able to do the Incarnate TFs with friends is what I'm looking forward to. -
-
I've been hating it for quite a while now.
-
But I'm kind of tired of /kin/.
Having a /kin corr, a /kin controller, and 2 kin/ defenders, I'm looking to branch out.
I wasn't terribly thrilled with DP/Dev on test, and I'm on the tired side of /dark as well.
How is DP/Rad? -
Quote:I've gotten a lot of mileage out of ID doing Mothership Monday raids on Virtue. ID is great for helping folks deal with Rikti Maguses and other mez heavy enemies. It's also handy on lower level teams if you get in over your head and people have wakies but no break frees.Increase Density is a red-headed stepchild. Nobody wants to keep it up all the time on a team because its duration is so short, BUT it can be a deal maker when a teammate is dealing with perma-hold or perma-stun (see CoT mages and Malta tec-ops.) You can also put your KB resistance proc in the slot, too if you want.

(After some cursory poking around on the forum, I wasn't able to find something similar to my idea. If I didn't poke enough, my apologies.)
I've seen bold text in game, how difficult would it be to add a BOLD to an uncompleted item for an accolade. For example, on red side, the exploration badges needed for the mayhem accolade. My lvl 50 rad/rad corr doesn't have it, and I've picked up almost every exploration badge in the game, after scrolling through the list numerous times I realized I was missing Global Threat. If the description for Invader read "Aquire the following badges Global Threat, King Maker..., Gate Crasher[/b] that would be really handy. At least with Invader, I can figure out what I need to do.
OTOH, my 50 scrapper doesn't have Dimensional Warder, and as the badge stands, I have no idea who I missed, and no real way to tell. I've run both arcs, but apparently missed defeating someone, but I remember fighting them all. Being able to see who I missed would help my already fragile sanity. -
All Hail Television!
I am prepared to deal with Radio for you.
Again.

Congratulations on the promotion and red name! -
First, congratulations!
My question: will we be seeing more zone revamps as we did with Faultline and the Hollows? There's a lot of "dead space" IMO, especially blue side. While brand new content is nice, giving me to a reason to actually go and explore ( as opposed to 'run to the door and Ouro out now that I've gotten that out of the way' ) a zone is good too.
My 2nd question... Apples to Apples again at this year's Herocon?
Again, congratulations! -
I think Major Deej is spot on, at Herocon last year it was mentioned by more than one dev that CoX isn't just CoH/CoV but a line, and that other games were in the works.
I'm not going to name names, but one of the devs mentioned how frustrating it was that they were limited to creating things that matched the original graphics - basically having to 'crap up' their cool designs because it would look to good compared to the originals.
CoX Next Gen ( or whatever it will be called ) should fix that. -
I have a Kin/Elec/Elec defender (Zursiel on Virtue) fast approaching 49, and am torn between 3 choices for powers:
The ever popular Hasten
Manouvers, because with lots of leadership comes lots of bonuses
and
Voltaic Sentinel because I can let sparky shoot things while I deal with other issues.
Any thoughts? -

Very nice!
If you have room, I'd love a headshot of Baator the Devourer, my Axe/WP brute.
His bio from my ID screen:
Once they offered me their blood.
Once they offered me their young.
Once they offered me their very souls.
They turned their backs upon me and forsook me.
I have returned, to remind them of what they once were.
And what they will be to me again.
Leader of the Vengeful Gods VG. He's actually sort of a beer and pretzels ( and ice hockey ) kind of guy when not being all bloodily vengeful. -
I tested it out on 2 of my alts:
Baator the Devourer, huge body ( brute for the curious ). In his armored and winged form, the girl friend described him as "looking like a serial killer", in his human form, "Boy! I saw the mess you left in the garage, and when I get my hands on you!..."
Zenna Des'Array, - she's going to need a "gives fries" emote to go with that shake. -
Nuts.
I'm going to an author reading at that time. -
Quote:Ansuz was loving the team and really sorry to see it end like that, the team had her cracking up constantly. (She's my roomie and our comps are in the same room ).And they seemed to tolerate my silliness, so doubly good.
Never had that happen on a TF before. Very weird.
And it was very weird. Also, I want a "Breaker" badge now. -
We get a group together to run Citadel.
We complete the first mission, "Investigate the Council Base".
The second mission... "Investigate the Council Base".
Third...
Fourth... at this point, we all know that Citadel is a Council grind, but shouldn't there be something different?
Why yes, yes there should even if it is Citadel.
Our friendly neighborhood GM shows up, and manually completes the mission, and our next mission pops up: "Investigate the Council Base".
Completes it again... and again... and again.
"That's strange."
File that under "things I did not expect a GM to say".
We can't get past the first mission.
The team leader tries talking to Citadel who says "You're not the team leader."
So, our problem has been kicked up the food chain, and when our team leader asks about the bug hunter badge, the GM tells her "There's no badge for breaking a TF." -
Quote:Well, I think it's all based on the number of people who play on Virtue. There were quite a few people I saw that I didn't recognize, and I've played almost entirely just on Virtue for almost 4 years now.True you did and I am grateful for that. I just found it interesting how so many of the other servers had pics of everyone from their server together etc, and Virtue sort of stay pretty anonymous overall. It was weird to me.
Was there even a thread on the Virtue forums about having a Virtue meet and greet? -
Given that the Praetorians are already here, I think the question is what propels them to expand their interest in Primal?
My guess would be resources, with the DE being so much more prevalent, I imagine that getting natural resources would be a PITA. -
Hi there,
Something I've not seen brought up is... villain (aka red ) side play.
Don't forget to roll a villain at some point and come on over to the dark side to give it a try.
Most of the villain group recruiting is in Cap au Diablo and Port Oakes.
<_<
>_>
I'll let you in on a little secret, the vast majority of the people who play villains are pretty nice.
Villain archetypes play differently than the heroes do, while there are similar roles ( brutes take aggro similarly to tanks, Stalkers hit hard in melee, corrupters can have healing ) they are different. A brute can have a damage bonus that a scrapper can only dream of, but to get it that high, they often have to walk dangerously close to defeat.
Before playing around with the other travel powers, give flight a try. Because hey! Flying around? That's cool! -
