Very well. Take away Controllers' ability to lower Tanker and Scrapper defense in PvP. Keep in mind that Defenders will still be able to make your armour useless, causing you to run out of purples 5 minutes into a match. Also, keep in mind that many defenders can boost their acc.

What are controlers left with? We can't mez you, we can't hit you. We don't do much damage in the rare event that we do hit you.

I am 1000% for the buff in PvE. But mark my words, these rediculous debuff resistance numbers will change for PvP. Unless the Devs are going back on the defenders' unresistable debuffs, Storm, Rad and Sonic controllers had best give up fighting SR, Stone and Ice in the Arena.

Junior, If Radiation infection with 6 Defence Debuffs and Attack powers with 6 Damage/Acc HO's aren't enough, then that says something about SR doesn't it? Perhapse...*Gasp* SR is fine without a Buff adding Resistance to Defence Debuffs! OMGZBBQ!!

Have you ever been one shotted by a controler Pirate? Don't forget folks that Defender debuffs can NOT be resisted. This is a controler issue. We don't have aim! My arguement is for Rad, Storm and Trick Arrow Controlers.

BTW here are a few tips on how to remove defense debuff toggles :

<ul type="square"> Go out of range untill such toggles are dropped. Imobilizing a controler prior to leaving range makes it even easier!

Stun/Disorient/Mez Mr. Controler. If your build has no attacks which produce such a result, buy a few Stun grenades.

Stealth/inviz/phase the debuff away.

Buildup and Defeat the Controler.

I'll catch up on some needlepoint while I Inviz in a corner somewhere and wait for his Elude+Defence toggles+Inherant defence+his resistance to defence buffs to go down. There is Definately a problem with the changes and PvP. Again I'll Gladly show you.

And to Pirate Fanboy, I HAD a tough time with them before, thy're getting an Additional Buff while I'm watching my Resistance debuffs getting LOWERED because a FEW have trouble with it.

Ahoy Statesman, I sugges ye quit trying to Swing the Lead and respond to the Anhialation of Radiation Infection as well as other Defence debuff powers that are now Moot in the arena.

Currently most Ice, Stone and SR players can Take a Caulk while my Most powerful debuffs do nothing but add a green tint to to their one shot = dead Rad controler/defender attacks.

I'm puttin up a Yellow Jack untill this is addressed...Yarrr?!

Shiver me timbers you are making me mad! I am an excelent PvP'er my skills are not in question. My problem is that an SR need only to reach into his Bung hole and pull out some Defence inspirations to negate my Defence Debuffs in PVP. Just as Blasters and other controlers need Break frees to break our holds.

Why then aren't Controlers given more *FREE* Hold resists?! Whats that? Your defences are being negated by Debuffs?! Well I say me hearty! My holds are being negated by your Hold resists AND my general inability to hit you, hence Rad builds get to Visit Davey Jonses locker more often now.

I have 6 Debuff defence/end HO's in my Rad infection. I Fight SR and Ice on a regular basis in the arena. With Rad infection, Multiple Damage/Acc HO's ane Even Buffs from other team members I Still have a Horrible time trying to Hit an Ice tank/SR. I can't drop their toggles with Brawl because it NEVER connects.

Poison Envy's Anger is VERY justified. Scrappers and Tankers that can Drop a Controler with ONE or Two Hits Need not worry about a pathetic Controler/Defender attack breaking through their defence. The only Valid arguement the mentioned Defence builds have is that they are at a disadvantage to damage resist builds in that there are fewer -resist attacks (Just wait it My Sonic blaster is of level tho) You sir need to untuck your head from your lower extremities for a clearer look at what this means to builds that rely on defence debuffs. Ye Scurvy Dog Ye!

So preety much, Rad controllers can Abandon ye all hope of hitting SR in pvp...Like Freakin Ice tanks and SR need the help...Out of all the glaring flaws that need immediate attention in CoH, you concentrate on making SR and a few Tank builds harder to hit in PVP? What kind of Bilge Rats make these decisions? Yaaaarg!!!
