My Assault Rifle/Kinetics Corruptor is very much on the 'Blaster' route at the moment, as I mainly solo with him, so attacking to stay alive is more important to me.
Once I hit the Respec though, I'll likely change things around and become more support-orientated, especially as I'll finally have Speed Boost at that point. -
I think the best idea would be to not have set SG colours, as it limits the creativity of people's creations.
It's still possible to enter SG mode without them, in order to gain prestige for a nice shiny base if we want one. -
I'm tempted to use my Blastermind build for the RV event, but I don't want to 'spoil the fun' as it were of levelling up and finding out exactly how I'm going to turn up.
(Plus, If I'm really really bad, I wouldn't want to be disheartened and end up not creating it)

I strongly suggest Munitions too, the Cryo Ray is worth it alone, just for the satisfaction of being able to actually Hold something for the first time in 40-odd levels. (With the added bonus you're already AR)
I would suggest not taking the Sleep Grenade though, due to it being so-so in effectiveness, and pick up either a new starting pool power just to help out, or a /Dev power you don't have yet.
And yes, fully agreeing with Dreamweaver, LRM is blooming great, especially once slotted with 3 Damage SO's.

Secondly, I just realised that my character is actually at level 2, which is what you get to no-matter-what if you do the Tutorial. If this would be a big problem, let me know before Thursday, and I'll just re-roll. -

DISCLAIMER: Galaxy Girl is there *mostly* for the day-to-day lives of heroes in an RP sense, although people to go out on roleplayed missions as well from time to time
There's a number of RP supergroups out there, they tend to keep themselves quiet for some reason though. One that's in the starting stages is 'The Militia' on which there's a few threads on this section of the forums. -
I don't know how some people are constantly needing to ask for that badge. I can't seem to *not* get it with my characters.

On the Galaxy Girl side of things, the reasons why we don't use Pocket D:
1.) A lot of GG characters are level one alts, purely for RP purposes, and even that little stretch from the KR train station to the PD entrance can be dangerous at times
2.) In character, there's a lot of people at GG who would *never* go to a bar/club like Pocket D, they're not that sort of person
3.) Unofrtunately, Pocket D is also a place where unfriendly and deliberately annoying players can be found at times, which ruins the RP experience (Admittedly, we get a few at GG from time to time, but nowehere neara s frequent as the Pocket D visits) -

A small answer to the difference-in-levels problem if we decide on 'allowing' use of the character outside of the allotted time, may be to say "Okay, level if you want to, but go no higher than level X for this week"
This way, people can still play their characters, but be within a reasonable level range for the rest of the group. -

It gets worse, I just realised if the Bravo group are going to meet on a Monday, I can't make it due to RL commitments (which are fairly new, hence my forgetfulness)
I think to be safe, I'm going to have to stick with Alpha. -

What's a guy to do if he's gots powers, but no's license to use them? Obvious answer seems to be: calls it a day and bite the big one.
Not's me. I'm not's gonna grab air just beacuse some's pretty reception lady says I can'ts do the job. So's instead, I grab myself the big ticket (that's a Private Investigator's license to you's uneducated types) and fight's crime that's way's.
But, business is slow. Who's in their right mind wants to pay a sap like me to find's a missing person, when a chippy hero can fly's them to the clubhouse safe and sound instead?
It was yesterday's that I got the package. Didn't look's like anything fancy at first, but I open's it up, and whaddya know, it's an invite of sorts. Some group called 'The Militia'.
If there's a possible chance for a way to pay's the rent this month from this, I ain't passing it up. -
I'm willing to jump over to Bravo too, for the greater good of smooth-running.
This has just reminded me to get the SG set up too, so I'll do that now. -

As an Energy/Devices Blaster, I have to agree with Hawklord's points. You've managed to miss out some of the best powers in the set..actually, you've only taken three at all.
Smoke Grenade makes Stalkers visible for longer after they de-cloak, Trip Mines/Time Bombs are very powerful, and can make a heck of a lot of difference when used correctly, the same goes for Caltrops.
Travel-power wise, pick one, and stick with it. I suggest the Super Speed set, mostly for the added bonus of Hasten.
Recall friend is a good added power, but if you're PvPing, you want to conserve Endurance, and Teleport won't do that. Plus you need more Endurance for attacks, as you don't have Build Up due to being /Devices, so you have a slightly lower damage output. -
Unfortunately, haven't been able to get them to work at all on Zukunft, and they are working fine on Union as of 20 mins ago.
I'm using the '/bind_load_file' command from the readme, and all the .txt files are in C:\mmpetbinds, so can't see any actual reason for the problem.
EDIT: As for MaX's comment, I'm still using the English client, not the German one. -
I was attempting to play a Mercs/Traps Mastermind on Zukunft just now, and found that the normally handy binds by Master_Zaprobo are refusing to work.
Is this actually due to the difference in server language, and if so, is there a way around this? -

Removing slots wasn't much of an option, but at least I know where a few could go now. I got to the late 30's/40's and realised I had more slots than I did powers that needed them, hence the End Reduction in powers like PFF.
EDIT: The Medicine Pool was only really there to fill up space, so I'll take out Resuscitate and change things about a bit to get Force Bolt. -
I'll certainly give the SG-running a go, but no promises on it being amazingly well-done

He has a point, and if you wish, one of my non-SGed lv13s can found the SG, appoint Battleflag as the overall leader (giving him all the permissions), and drop out. -
Just currently testing out builds for a Mind/FF Controller, and making a decision on 'who' the character is.

Apologies for thread resurrection, but I thought it'd be best to post here rather than a new thread about the same thing.
I've used Syra's build as a template, but completely ignored Leadership in order to reduce Endurance usage, as it's pretty likely other people will have it anyway.
The build's focused specifically on PvE, non-soloing.
