The problem is, while it sounds like an awesome idea, it requires too much co-ordination. The IQ of a mob is the average IQ of all the members of the mob divided by the number of people, and this rings truer for Hamidon over anything else in CoH. A raid guide for a public raid has to be insanely simple. The reason we don't have an attack phase on Defiant (and, imo, the reason why we're so successful) is because it requires no extra co-ordination beyond "Stand here and click this and DON'T do anything else". We don't have the server population to start doing private raids with more complicated guides, unfortunately.

Yes, or US servers wouldn't be beating him, which they are. A mito spawn pretty much = game over, no matter your server population.

Aye, it doubles the tohitbuffs from Aim and Build Up but nothing else. Also, make sure you use it before aim and build up, not after. I've seen many a /en blaster waste Power Boost by using it in the wrong order.

Well if you're doing it at 10pm you'll need to just send the results to me as a global tell as I doubt I'll still be around on Union to watch the fight. As long as I get the results before too long it's all good though.

What he said. Don't try and play fire/ta in zone PvP, you will die more than most other toons. As soon as you pull that bow out, you're basically dead. In 1vs1 you can lock down your opponent enough with things like Entangling Arrow and Glue Arrow to prevent them from getting any hits in, but in the zones there's usually several more people who are quite happy to run around behind you and hit you in the back.

We can do the test server. Not sure if we can pull an 8 man fight out of the air since most of us are on WoW now, but we can damn well try.

Since we're currently undefeated on Defiant as far as Arena PvP goes and pretty much unbeatable in the zones (note: I did not say completely), we want to open the floor for challenges from other SGs.

We can accomodate you for any size team fight, or for duels if you so desire. However, I would reccomend that you call the hospital in advance because chances are that you'll be going away with fewer limbs than you entered with.

Either leave a message on here, or send a tell to @Xanthus, @Extremus or @Mesmer and we'll sort something out ASAP.

Note: This post is meant to be taken lightheartedly. I know a lot of people think we're apparently bigheaded or whatever, but we do try and help people more than hinder them. We're actually far more interested in promoting Arena PvP than just smashing heads (well, except for a few select cases) since we won't get any competition any other way. If you want to learn some more about the PvP in this game, all you have to do is ask one of the guys listed above and we'll set up some training matches with you or whatever. Don't turn up to your first match expecting to win, but stick at it and you will improve. We did it to the french SGs on test, so you guys can do it to us

I always found that sunday/monday are probably the best days for events, although King Of The Hill is running on Sundays now. That's on Test though, so maybe run the event on sunday so the KOTHers can go away for their arena fights and then come back for some Warburg pwnage?

Could I suggest that you move it to another night when 3vP isn't going on so that those of us taking part can come along as well?

The only times I've not turned up to a 3vP match were last week, and the thursday when I set the "organize your own" thing up. If you were honest, you'd admit that you said that you weren't going to make any effort to organize your matches (I can't be bothered to go and find the quote now). You have no cause for complaint here. If you had taken the time to organize your match, then you wouldn't have been penalized.

The teams are random anyway, and actually were originally going to be drawn on Wednesday night. People know that 3vP is every thursday at 7:30pm, why should the day the teams are arranged make any difference?
