So next will they "nerf" Behemoths? Isn't that the next most logical path of least resistance.
I personally always found the "best XP/inf" to be fighting Arachnos inside PvP door missions. But my perception may be off. -
lol"efficiency"
I love how many people look for efficiency in a game.... that's meant to relax.... -
Quote:I feel the same way as OP when it comes to sidekicking up, sometimes. If my character is 25 and they're getting SKd up to 49, it's fine, but if they're level 6 and stuck with two attacks and a nigh-useless armor, the only thing I feel like I'm doing is leeching. A high-level team is quite likely to be fighting at least oranges, which means I'm seeing red and purple and mostly whiffing. I've only run into that sort of situation a few times, and I can tell you I quit them all soon.
That's why I always overslot for accuracy before I do anything else. -
Quote:It all depends on your personal tastes. My suggestion? Experiment. No powerset is the same. Try as many things as you can. Make a lot of alts. There is no agreed-on "most fun class." The most fun class is the one YOU have the most fun with.
Got it in one, nice job. -
Quote:I don't get it, but apparently it has something to do with this video. What's that "tunnel snakes" one about? I've seen it on a few threads now.
I still don't get it. -

Cancel your account and go away. You've never brought anything of worth to these forums, this community or probably even our species. -
K.
Someone else reminded me of these gems:

Quote:From what I was told by someone that started running them when they first came out, one of the earliest Meow missions had a catgirl as the contact and just said Meow in the mission description.
If that's true, that's so ADORABLE. I'm sure Perfect_Pain would approve of that. -
Then play harder? When I'm SKed up way above my level, then I make SURE that I'm contributing just as much by playing harder. No one has complained yet.

Quote:Am I the only one that finds it completely ironic that this thread was started by "Farm Boy"?
Princess Buttercup is going to be mad at you if sheep exp gets nerfed next.
Naw, she doesn't care about the sheep. Fezzik would be pissed at me though...
RIP Andre, we hardly knew ye. -
"The CoH Development team officially supports farming, because some people find it fun."
So then does this count as an official red name post supporting farming? Can I quote you on that Ocho? -
Quote:Someone that doesn't want to or can't fully support themselves != the fisherman who is happy with "just existing". I can't STAND the concept of government welfare, and yet I believe strongly in the philosophy of the fisherman.
Back when I was a welfare case manager, I knew a lot of those fisherman. -
As with EVERY FPS I've EVER PLAYED, which includes Bioshock, Left4Dead, HL2, Doom, Duke Nukem.... the whole game basically comes down to this:
Rush enemy, shotgun at point blank range to the face. Reload, NEXT! -
Quote:DUDE! I AM that fisherman.... do you mind if I save that story for copy and paste jobs in the future? You know... there's this story about a filthy-rich guy who goes to a vacation in Mexico. He meets a Mexican fisherman who's sitting lazily with his big sombrero covering his face, barely minding his fishing pole. The rich guy approaches and tells the fisherman he's being lazy, and that he would be catching plenty of fish if only he applied himself.
The fisherman looks up at the rich guy, squints a bit and says: "and then what? I got lots of fish, so then what?"
The rich guy starts spinning this plan that has the fisherman buying a boat to go into the sea and catch even bigger fish that would sell for more, and then hiring other fishermen to help with the whole operation and the fisherman will become rich, just like the rich guy...
To which the fisherman responds with another lazy: "then what...?" question.
The rich guy smiles and says: "...then when you retire, you get to do whatever you like to do in the whole wide world!"
The fisherman smiles a crooked smile and says: "I'm already doing it!"
Some people simply get so wrapped up in the notion of maximizing stuff that they fail to realize it's not even required because neither the game-world, nor Life itself was designed for maximizing anything by any single entity.

Don't bother debating with Tank Washington, I tried that a while ago on the Protector forum. He just argues to argue and does so primarily with emotion, with logic being a distant second. It's like debating with a big ball of energy. Entertaining for a bit, but mostly pointless.

I'd say all of those are work. I suppose you're right, and it does have to do with goals. I don't have any goals aside from having fun and wasting time. If I level up, great, that's just a bonus, if I get a "nice drop", great, that's just a bonus, but I just play to PLAY... I don't play with a goal in mind.
I'm like the kitten that plays with a ball of yarn... we have no goal, we just PLAY!

Quote:I don't, I just sell it. I've had exactly 4 purples drop ever.... never slotted one.
I actually have to drastically change my planned builds should I ever get a Purple. -
And he's entirely neurotic and stupid. The fact that he doesn't talk just hides that well.
