Clarification: I meant resolved itself as in no further characters were being affected. Apologies for the confusion. Note that I said we hoped on the basis of no further tickets having been received, and that I wanted confirmation.

We're well aware that characters already affected are still affected, however the priority right now is finding out how widespread the issue is, whether or not it is still affecting characters, and if we can what is causing it to occur.

We need to concentrate on minimising impact right now, and once we have done so we will move to restoring those characters already affected.

This bug is mutating lol, just had a guy -log- into PI in front of me then go into apoplexy as he had been on the game 2 secs to see he had no contacts either....

Im trying to update this so people are warned is all...seems like for once, defiant is the place to be...(hmm maybe its a plot by GG?)

maybe, depends whether or not I get my contacts bac, if so and everyone else does...groovy, its still on, if not then yes ..I will postpone.

Well updating it now as it seems the original thought it was PI only is definately wrong ...seems any level any zoning is affecting it, there are more peeps being affected by this as I type, even had a friend relog on diff toons and each one in succession upon zoning lost all contacts/missions/souveneirs/history etc.

Sorry yes seems to be union related, Im counting 9 global friends afflicted so far, and countless others getting the same on global channels

I just got a GM response, but its the usual "we have sent it to a diff dept, you should receive a response soon"

Ok to add to this.... just seen half of PI erupt in flames on BC chat, seems im not the only one here seems its happening to anyone entering PI...or at least most folks....

To be honest the amount of bugs happening recently is astonishing, im on a character that is all bent out of shape from the scale bug, standing in a zone where I cant get mishes, looking at a UI contact list which is empty, receiving bugged tells from other people experiencing the same....is i13 real name "pest control"?...

(edit# ok now it seems others are getting the problem -outside- of PI...I really hope this gets sorted soon as it is affecting a lot of people)

Hmmm well this is frustrating, but here goes.

Logged onto my main scrapper *warscythe* everything was fine, decided to run a timed Unai kamen mish, so selected it then popped from wentys in atlas via Oro to PI...thats when everythin hit the fan, suddenly realised I have no missions, no contacts, active or inactive....hell I dont even have a radio, I have to see detective mclord to get one as if im new in KR, and tried relogging/zoning...nothing helps...even worse everytime I relog / zone im losing the radio too


Most painful thing for me is the fact ive got the "stop all wildflower agents" mish that I was saving for an event on sunday....which is now gone, hope its fixed soon.

Anyway sent a bug petition, so heres hoping for a swift resolution and that no one else is affected.

Reading around and found something quite apt....this is a great little subject on the type of villain Nemesis is.

Originally I thought he fit with the Xanatos Gambit but in fact he fits more in the Xanatos Roulette

I beep stuff out because, yes, it hit a personal note with me. On the other hand (and this feels very similar to something I replied with a while ago concerning a question to do with a certain type of battery operated female stimulation equipment) this is a game played by young people. I don't feel the need to contribute to any decline in society (or be accused of contributing to the decline of society) connected with youths swearing. I'll say what I like to say, but I'm always mindful, when editing, that people who weren't born when I was their age may very well be playing the game - or the young children of people who play the game may be in the room when the players are watching the video.

Plus to be fair there is a fairly blatant PSA warning prior to the video continuing regarding the content so if it is likely to offend....there has been sufficient warning beforehand.

Other than that personally I didnt find offence, im an adult who likes to rant also, besides it was a subject that is clearly close to FG's heart and thus a rant was followed, I didnt see anything wrong with that.....oh did I say there was a PSA warning...oh right..I did.

Yeah, that's really quite irritating. Enemies that are +2/+3 are quite enough for a DXP weekend considering you'll be pretty much just running through entire armies of them non-stop. I think it's better that way at all times, it's just plain boring when you have to stand there sizing up each and every spawn until someone just Leeroys in.

Last night they were Whites and Yellows on the team I joined. For a Warshade that's just XP heaven. Steamroller em and see if you can leg it to another group before the Mire expires.

Personally I won't fight more than +2s/+3s for long anyway. I hate my lovely powers getting reduced to peashooter levels by excessive purpling of mobs. That said at one point on Friday my mentor was AFK for a bit, so I was 6 or 7 levels below the Mob levels (but still within 5 of the average team level) and the XP I earned was ridiculous. I did feel useless though : "Dark Quasar blasts a Freakshow for 10 damage. Freakshow is now laughing".

Blame Eros for that Carnie , but seriously tho I agree with the problem, for example yesterday was on an awesome team blasting around the isles killing all and sundry, we were going on for a good few hours and not once did anyone ask to up the rep...we kept it at a nice pace with boss enemies conning around red for us at max.

I do agree that there is a belief amongst some folks that (and this applies dxp or no dxp) conning purps is the only way to get great XP, id like to see two teams start on an arc with similar AT's..one on medium diff the other full diff. Would be interesting to see the outcome speed and xp wise (taking into account debt earned etc)

Personally though im more happy with a team that finds the enemy a challenge, have a few "eep" moments and yet still be comfortable with the pace and level to have a bit of banter along the way.

3 great tf's in a row on friday with Alvan got my fire/em blaster from 45 to 50.

Then silly teams on redside over a little bit of saturday day and a good chunk of Sunday got my brand new brute from 0-37...so im chuffed.

Have to say, to the SG lads ..great work over the weekend, and to everyone I teamed with over on redside....was one big mental blur but fun at the same time...(thank god ive got a few weeks off work, can bloomin sleep now )

Never ever teamed with FG but I gotta say the more AAB I see the more he reminds me of Eros on TS, funny-brutally honest-and foul mouthed to a tee

Best thing is its 2am, im tired and have finished a brutal day of lvln so after watching it once through (was interestin to find out about the forumites since i know bugger all about what goes on here - still a little green 2 yrs in) I couldnt help but replay back the last ten seconds to try and figure out who he meant....its one of those things...were you 1-dont care enough but 2-am damn curious regardless
