Searching the forums, every time I try to follow a link claiming to go to instructions for copying a character onto the Beta server, I get a page with just a couple lines and no real instructions. I don't know if the page is gone, or what, but I'm almost out of time! Someone please copy and paste the instructions! I have played 4 of 5 Pandora's Box, and really want to play the finish!

When I'm selecting powers, I see a "Sorcery" pool power set, yet when I try to purchase it, I get an error saying I have timed out at the store. When I search for it in the store from the character select screen, I cannot find it.

Can anyone please shed some light on this?

I have been doing this for my own memories using FRAPS. I have made music videos by choosing appropriate songs for my characters and playing the song on my computer while fighting fairly orchestrated battles. The music is recorded along with the video and audio from CoH. I do similar video clips of my characters' "ID"s, also set to 30-40 second music clips. This gives me 360 views of my characters, displayed with their bios.

I have even gone so far as to use mission architect to create team-ups of my own characters (one real, the others pets I've freed) to make videos of dream team-ups or epic battles between my heroes and my villains.

I never plan on posting these anywhere. It's to console me when the game is gone, and to help me remember the good times . . . .

Thanks, Houtex. That was actually one of the threads I read through when searching. Unfortunately, it isn't helpful for my purpose. The links in the thread go to pages which list contacts by level, which link to individual contacts, which list the villain groups their missions involve, which STILL don't neccessarily match their origin. (Example: Both Allison King, a magic contact, and Jenny Firkins, a science contact, list Devouring Earth, Council, and Crey as enemy groups.)

Can someone please tell me how to know the origin type for any given villain group? (Ex: Circle of Thorns = magic) I don't find this on Paragon Wiki, CoH site, nor searching previous posts. Thank you!

(I want to know so I can target certain villain groups when I want SO or DO enhancements from a certain origin.)

Hi! I'm working on a new character for Praetoria and want the origin to be similar to a hero I have in Paragon City. My original character is put through a Circle of Thorns ritual, and I wonder if there are any groups in Praetoria which are similar enough to the Circle that they would fit my needs.

1. I know the Circle ritual isn't greatly original, but I have a twist I like.
2. I suppose there could have been an alternate Earth version of the Circle which survived the wars, but I was hoping for something actually found in-game.

I want to double check something I saw referenced one time here and haven't been able to find confirmation of. Are the game codes for North America and Europe incompatible, or could a game code from a version bought in Europe be used in the U.S.?

I wondered if there is away for heroes and villains to give enhancements, salvage, or inluence/infamy to each other. I've been unable to do this even when on the same team in Pocket D.

I find the responses interesting, and they are appreciated. The last two suggestions about T-shirts do not, however, address my concern regarding the quality of the image. Is there a way to produce a better quality image of a screen shot?
