  1. Not the "Help Me" status. The "Helper" status.
  2. It's not as easy making it free. It costs money to store records of those transfers, it costs money and more storage data to make the transfer, etc. It's not as simple as making it free - it costs them a lot of money to do it too.
  3. Seriously.

It's not being used as intended. People are just turning on "Helper" or "Help me" for the Gold/Purple targeting color effect.

It needs to be a regulated thing. An account should be flagged as "Helper" enabled. People who honestly want to help the community at large, or new players, should apply for that position for their specific server.

Otherwise, it's kind of a joke and people are just using it for the fun effects.

    /end rant.
  4. For those of you who didn't participate in BAF and Lambda during the Open Beta Sneak Peeks, please watch this video to get a better understanding of what it is like:

  6. You can have a Voodoo raid right in the comfort of your own home!

Just simply watch your toilet as it flushes next time!
  7. Assuming Issue 20 goes Live this coming week (crossing my fingers), as per stated the Producer's Letter (if I read it correctly), I'd like to organize and run the Behavioral Adjustment Facility followed by the Lambda Sector this coming Wednesday.

    Where: Rikti War Zone 3
    When: Wednesday, 4.6.11, @ 9PM EST (6PM PST)
    Who: Me (@Voodoo Girl)

Please RSVP below and please show up at around ten to fifteen minutes before the scheduled time.

Before we begin each iTrial we will go over the details and discuss out strategy for each. For the Behavioral Adjustment Facility we will need 12 - 24 players, and for Lambda it is smaller, 8 - 16. Assuming we have 24 people for BAF we will split off into two separate leagues of 12 for Lambda.

AT's and Powersets and irrelevant to the success rate. It comes down to working together, listening to directions, and having a good time.

On a side note, I'm creating a global channel specifically for organizing and running the iTrials - Virtue Trials (feel free to use this channel to organize Cathedral of Pain runs as well.)

    Macros/Bind to Help You!

These Macros/Binds will aid you immensely during these Trials - I am listing them as Macros and Binds, depending on how you prefer them:

    Behavioral Adjustment Facility:
    • /macro Com target_custom_next alive Commando
    • /bind x target_custom_next alive Commando *
    courtesy Master Zaprobo
*please substitute "x" with a key of your choosing, if you'd prefer

    Lambda Sector:

    (needed for the Research Facility)
    • /macro CC target_custom_next Containment Chamber
    • /bind x target_custom_next Containment Chamber

    (needed for the Training Facility)
    • /macro WC target_custom_next Weapons Cache
    • /bind x target_custom_next Weapons Cache
  8. However the metal still looks like cheap plastic.

Feminum is not made from cheap plastic!

Well, in Wonder Woman lore - as I remember correctly - her costume is designed after the American flag since she is following that pilot Steve(?) back to the US and it was designed in honor/deference of his home country.

That's how it goes, if I remember correctly.
  10. Thank.

    The.

    Lord.

They removed the hideous blue stripper heels and replaced them the red boot flats and nixed the hyper glossy electric blue pants and replaced them with a patriotic navy.
  11. It could be worse.

It could be the Tim Burton treatment of Superman (with Nicolas Cage!)

  12. I just understand the latex/pleather pants. From a story perspective - would a Greek/Amazon warrior be wearing latex/pleather and cheap plastic looking "metal"?
  13. How important is the nature of your characters costume? How much does it define "them?" Are small tweaks here and there O.K.? What about a major overhaul?

I'm excited for the new Wonder Woman tv show coming out this fall, but in the just released image of what her costume is going to look like, I'm feeling a bit disappointed:

Some other rumored character changes are of concern (Diana Prince runs a corporation that manufactures Wonder Woman memorabilia instead of working for the US government.)

While I appreciate it's Wonder Woman, that costume changes seem to concern. Granted, a costume overhaul actually helped for X-Men, but for Wonder Woman - is it too much of a change?

How do you feel when you overhaul your characters signature look? Or make slight adjustments? Do you ever feel it sometimes betrays the "core" image/feel/tone of your character?
  14. How much longer before Cross-Server iTrials?

    I Search-FU my forum/global handle nightly.

    Every night.

    And then I google it.

Anyways, this is what I feed random fortune readers to:

So keep that image in your mind the next time you see decide to randomly read someone's fortune.

I'm sure there will be some kinks in the system, but just adjust with them and figure out what works best. We'll get there.
Yes, you can form into a league before entering and shift teammates around on teams (via swapping or dragging & dropping.) You also don't have to everyone compacted onto neat teams of 8. You could have 6 teams 4 people each for further deployment.

Even if you join via the LFG tool and get ported into the iTrial with X amount of players and find you have The Star - you can always pass it someone else who has a death wish.
  17. Well, here's my zinger from tonight:

    As I'm leaving Carnegie Hall

Morbidly Obese Girl commenting on my outfit: "(laughing) Oh. my. god. That is the most hideous sweater ever."

Me: "Excuse me, but is Seaworld aware that you're out of your tank?"
  18. There are currently only two events listed in the Queue - BAF & Lambda. Your choices are:
    • First Available (whichever of the either two meet the minimum requirement of necessary players)
    • Behavioral Adjustment Facility (min 12 players)
    • Lambda Sector (8 players)

Now, if the minimum is met and the confirmation to join the event window pops up, but only 7 people (assuming it's Lambda) confirm and the 8th is "sleeping" - you'll get dumped back into the Queue to wait
  19. Someone got my wrath yesterday for doing it while I was buying enhancements.

  21. An option to "Reject Another Players Obsessive Need To Use Their Powers On Another Player."

To some extent my annoyance also extends to people who feel the need to drop every buff they have on me while - yes - I'm using a trainer, the market, a vendor, or whatever. If I'm not in combat I probably don't need a fiery floating rock aura buff to converse with the Market.
  22. Or simply to machete to drive by reader.
