YOU feel so behind? *laughs* Oh, you have no idea. This is going to take forever for me to catch up.
Go go guinea pigs so I can learn from you in...a year. :P -

All I have to say is...Lin? You make me smile.

It was fun, and good to be out and about again. I really miss being in game and playing around.
Brava. -

Why you should buy me:
I'll actually be in game tomorrow night for this and only this. You better pay up! -
Quote:Hit up Dora. They have a lot of educational Dora stuff. Not setting any budget limits right now. If a great gift idea seems out of budget, I can recruit other family members to chip in.
I've just been informed the 3 year old is into Dora, Tinkerbell, and Strawberry Shortcake.
The 9 year old just got a laptop...(I'm still struggling with this concept), but word is she's getting into computers...ok loving this child already.
The 6 and 9 year old are into Nintendo DS, so age appropriate games for them is something I'm gonna look into. -
You should buy me because it might be the last bit of time I get to play for a very long time. And it's worth it, damn it!

Well, I'm hoping it was something earlier in the month, and the November will be ok.

I would love to join.

In this episode of Disastrous **** for the Miller Family, a deer hits DJ's car and breaks out the windows and makes the driver's door uncloseable.
Note: a DEER hits DJ's car. Not DJ hits a deer.
We have the worst luck in the world. And now I'm waiting for the 3rd thing to drop on our heads. ****. -
Hey all, thanks for the support.
The fire marshal has been through and determined the cause to be an extension cord that somehow overheated and caught things on fire. So...yeah. As far as renter's insurance is concerned, we had it, but recently changed insurance companies, and we just hadn't gotten around to adding it. Lesson learned.
The insurance adjusters are making us move all of our stuff out of the house before they'll give our landlords a quote, despite the fact that the only damage to the house is in the bedroom. So, we're out of a home for a month, probably longer. So, homeless for now. I personally think that's the landlord's "gentle" way of evicting us, but...I could just be a conspiracy theorist.
Anyway, yeah...I'm going to be out of the game for a while. Don't quite know when I'll be back, but I'll be able to read and respond on the forums. -
We didn't have renter's insurance.
Anyway, only everything in the bedroom is gone, so we need all new clothes (pretty much), a new bed, and various other replacement things. Our Wii was in there too, but that's not too big of a deal. Red Cross has already given us money for new clothes, which we took care of this morning.
What we're trying to do is raise some money for our landlords because apparently their deductible is fairly high. And the sooner they can get that taken care of, the sooner we can go home.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes. -
So, they determined it was a faulty plug that caused it. A spark that jumped to a basket of clothes sitting nearby, and fwoosh. Thankfully, the fire didn't spread farther than the bedroom, so everything other than that is ok, including the dog who was in the house at the time.

My house caught on fire and is currently unliveable. I will be away for an undetermined amount of time.
Thanks,

I like them. Maybe not $10 worth of liking, but I do like them.
