Quote:I opened it up and made a noise that was a cross between a squeal and a yodel.
Did you squeal and yodeled? Or did it squeal and you yodel? Or did you both squeal and yodel together? LoL
Either way, sounds like total excitement happening at your place! I can't wait to see the magic you create with your new toy! -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So5eEjwjLLM
Can anyone beat that?!! -
The images are a tad too dark for my computer to see the details of your toon in the bar. But from what I can see, I do like. I'll see if I can't muster up some kool shots to add to your thread when I get home from work.

Pyro!! Those are very very kool!! How long does it take for you to do them?
-
Well, I guess this is the best time for me to bid my farewell. It is now time for me to focus my attention on a few other things that have been on the back burner for a while. Thank you all for the fun, the fast pace and the toonz. I believe I did three rounds with y'all. Enjoy ISO VII and keep ISOs going until CoX goes kuput! GLHF and CFN

Quote:Many of the artists who want their work to be critiqued, will ask for their posted piece to be critiqued, for example http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=190127 Other artists will request in private for certain people or certain artists to critique their pieces because they feel that those are the people with the best knowledge and/or experience to give a good and honest critique. And, other artists just want to share their pieces with us and do not wish for it to be picked apart.Well, if you can moderate a bit, I'm sure many artists would appreciate constructive criticism as much as the "Yay you!" postings.
Constructive criticism is only good if the artist welcomes it. Allow the artists to decide for themselves if they wish their individual pieces to be critiqued. You'll be surprised how many just want to share their talents in these forums, even if people think their talent isn't as good as others.
With that said, I am going to add my praise here "Sorah, you are a terrific artist and worth every dime!"

Wassy, your talents never cease to amaze me! I love your little kitchen! The details are totally your style of art...from the curtains waving in the breeze, to the little cooking mitten hanging on the cabinet knob, to the little kitty posing on the kitchen tile. Even the little dots in the ceiling are totally your style. So, I have no critique to point out because I love your style as it is. You get an A+ from me!

Quote:I think a WIP folder is a great idea since you are doing a high volume of pieces. What do you guys think? Do you want me to make a wip folder, or should I just keep everything under wraps? Does anyone not want other people seeing the progress on their character?
