yep, wasnt fun, especially as I was 2/3 lvls below the boss.

same thing happened to my Invul scrapper, one application of a hold got thru unyielding and acrobatics/combat jumping, the only reason I wasnt chain held was one missed. That was the reason for unyielding as far as I could tell - was almost impossible to get held, now its just end drain.

I have played a toon with no status resistance, but if I have powers designed to protect against these why should I be held as easily as someone with no protection? Completely idiotic change - tho im sure my grav/rad controller will like it.

I was playing with a brute last night and they were smashing everything in sight but the person they were attacking ignored them and went for me and my zombies were nowhere near them. If it is a taunt, its not very strong or reliable.

the game is tho. Statesman said "at the moment the endgame content is all about PvP" Isnt Warburg the higher level zone, if so then its likely to be under populated. PvP has never been hugely popular in any regular sense but we still get the nerfs for it in PvE

The main reason I got this game over Wow(which I had before COH and did until last week cos I hate it still) was no PvP, got tired of the attitude of PvPers on that and Diablo(only other online rpg game I ever played) and this game is going that way fast.

not sure about running at them until the end runs out, im sure you'll be perma held then dead before that happens. It didnt add much edge to me fighting lvl 53 carnies, I was certain I was going to get held then dead when I saw a boss and the only time it wasnt perma was with BF's or if the hold missed - then it was run away and rest. never felt so weak as a scrapper - running from a single boss.

wonder if you can petition someone for knowingly using a design flaw to grief (and killing in a supposed safe zone is griefing).

its the same with the Hollows, when it was brought in, pre-travel power, youd be sent from atlas to the back end of KR or something then "oh, talk to winscott to show off our new fancy zone and i wont tell you you dont need to take the missions" Tho I think it is easier for new people to avoid the PvP zone missions than winscotts.

As people have said, go see the guy, get out of there if you dont like the idea of PvP or being attacked when doing missions. Did the same myself last night.

because in PVP it is closer to balanced at least, in PvE it means soloing a mission in the 40+ range is a pain in the [censored] now. held by 1 attempt in PvE thru toggles, pointless. Yes you can play without status protection, but with so many toggles designed to aid in this, why should the whole game comminity suffer another neft because of *oh i cant own a scrapper in PvP with my defender*

in a solo mission nothing should be purple, unless you have it on invincible. then you shouldnt be able to solo it at that level. Claws is a weaker set as far as damage goes but has different uses. quick Q, if u wanted a wolverine clone wouldnt regen have suited better?

odd problem, could be in the sound options, if you double click on the sound icon on taskbar check the mic is not muted. There should be other options to explore in there in file, properties.

ah, didnt know that. Probably because I left local test mode on and was swearing because it wasnt working while I was dying 5 times in a row.

Downloading the client and getting onto the server is very easy once that is done you will have to press the windows Key or have it running(out of taskbar) to alt-tab as Hobo suggested to change channels. There are two options for talking, push to talk(bit of a pain cos u have to keep alt-tabbing) or activite above a certain level which works when the game is full screen.

Been in there a few times and there is normally some fun going on there.
