I can't wait for I19...I have tons of respecs to do, plus with the new ranged animations, I have some slight character tweaking to do. There have been some characters that haven't felt right lately, but I think shooting sonic beams from my hands or having a fully optic blast type character will help

Omega Factor is hosting a Costume Contest on Saturday, October 9th at 8:00pm EST to celebrate our entry into the Top 5 Supergroups on Pinnacle. There is no theme to this contest, just bring whatever you think is your most well designed costume. We'll be having it in Pocket D so all characters from any alignment can take place, even Praetorians. And it will be on Pinnacle because that is our home, but people from any server can enter, even on Level 1's!
What: Costume Contest!
When: Saturday, Oct. 9th at 8pm EST
Where: Pocket D on Pinnacle Server
1st Place: 600 Million Influence and a Costume Code
2nd Place: 400 Million Influence and a Costume Code
3rd Place: 200 Million Influence and a Costume Code
If there is ample interest, we might be handing out rare IO's for honorable mentions.

I can understand that. I've been described as OCD, myself, in that I demand all of my characters have access to the same resources and find myself unable to "pool" resources from others into just one, but my cure for feelings of "needing" to do something is typically laziness. I feel the need to fix up all of my characters, yes, but the feeling that I couldn't be arsed is significantly stronger

Unfortunately, I have a mild OCD that demands characters are maintenced. It keeps me VERY busy...

I've always wanted to name my imps or other pets like Masterminds can. I constantly refer to them by the names I give them, and wondered if anyone else did this. Here are some examples.
Fire Imps - Sasha, Babbette, Francois
Dark Servant - Mr. Fuzzykins
Animated Stone - Crapface
Jack Frost - Well...Jack...
I even refer to pet type things that can't be targetted, like
Lightning Storm - Nimbus
Tornado - Swirly
Spirit Shark/Spirit Shark Jaws - Bruce
School of Sharks - School of Bruces (or Bruci)
My whole supergroup has started to use these terms, and we're even considering making Bruce our mascot. Just an example of how I keep the game personalized, even if it's only in my own mind. -

You know what I'm really excited about on a lot of characters? Not getting new powers, but being able to get powers that I used to put off sooner. The late teens are going to be so much more awesome from now on.

I'm even going to have to respec my level 6's, because I generally take swift or hurdle ASAP just to get it out of the way. But I am SO looking forward to running low level arcs even more without having to rest or not run toggles. So much stuff to look forward to.

but when I19 comes out, I'm going to be stuck in MIDs and the respec screen for weeks! Not to mention redoing all my ranged attack poses, Task Forces, Alpha slots on like 20 level 50's, getting my badger into Praetoria, who isn't even near finished getting her villain badges...never ending I tells ya!

I didn't think about Illusion Control. That would be quite effective as well. -

Does this ever happen to you? You're doing a task force or some missions, and out of no where an ambush comes. It ignores the mission leader, goes past the tanker and the scrapper, and slaps you right in the face with a missile? This happens to me constantly, no matter what toon I am. It's become a funny joke in our SG that if I'm on the team, I'll get the ambush. Sometimes I even get other team's ambushes, like lvl 50 Malta suddenly blasting my lvl 24 blaster in Talos. Oh, I must have been next to their target, but alas, I am alone!
Anyways, just thought I'd see if this happens to anyone else. -

4. The newer ones by far, the ones with your clones and Praetoria ones. So well written and they make me feel like I'm making a difference.
5. I'm a huge comic fan, and this lets me bring my ideas to life. Plus I have a fantastic SG.
6. I used to play some WoW, and I've tried other MMO's, but CoH is where I remain.
7. Since Beta 2004.
8. I have over 80 alts, average range is late 20's, and i have 19 level 50's.
9. I've only began using set bonuses, but they make a world of difference. Only use them once I'm 50 though. And my difficulty level varies based on character I'm playing and team makeup. -
