Meaning, what do you consider to be a praetorian version? The complete opposite of someone, or only a few, minor differences?
Example: Unhearted is a stern, pink-haired woman who frowns a lot. She has tattoos. Would her Praetorian version be flighty and quick to smile? Would she have pink hair? Tattoos?
Or would she pretty much be the same but maybe with different powersets, a different background, with different interests? -
Thans Caem and Vexxxa!
Caem, I saw Tyra's progress piece of your's -- so very cool! Are you excited? -
I got new arts again for Aglow! This time by http://blueabyss17404.deviantart.com/!
You can of course read more about Aglow on her Virtueverse, or find her in my gallery @ http://raep0w.deviantart.com/ -
Not me, but my friend! She's in Perth, Australia and currently, her download speed for this is 5kb/sec. Is there anyway to help her? She has cable!

I haven't checked it out much to be honest. The knockback and stuns look promising, especially if considered stalker wise. Paired with energy aura would be so pretty but... well, let's face it -- energy aura sucks.
I'm still thinking of going km/ea stalker even though looking at the numbers on the newest Mids' makes me cringe.
If you plan on trying to pvp with a kinetic melee, what are you gonna pair it with? -
Yeahuh, I already have a sonic/pain who'll just have crazy +res once 50 and IO'd. I hate playing support in arena OR zone pvp because I'm a more spike type person, but I wanted to learn a different aspect.
Had an elec/storm that was beastly, but that set is def not considered 'buff'. That thing did so much dmg. I think I'll continue leveling my sonic/pain for now and ignore the 'be different' pounding in my head.

I'm thinking of a new char for pvp. I like to take/try different sets and viably pvp with it.
I was thinking of these few:
rad/sonic
sonic/rad (even though rad has it bad now)
sonic/therm
rad/storm
Thoughts? -
Hi again! This time I have a first-time manipulation of comic art. Originally Psylocke by Blasterkid, I got curious enough to test my skills and see if I can turn her into Aglow. Be gentle.

Every other time I attempt to log in I get the DB connection message. Then I manage to get into character selection, pick Aglow, and it doesn't load into the game.
Since then, I've tried logging in several times and my character Aglow is locked out by message of 'The character Aglow is still logging out'. This has been for about 10 minutes now and if I'm lucky enough to get past the DB Server message, I can select other characters but none will load. -
It is a mermaid tattoo!
I really really hope to see ya'lls artwork from her if you commission. She's absolutely great; she does such beautiful artwork at low prices. -
Thanks you two!
She is a great artist and I'm happy to have it.

I already posted this in the Fan Art section but I really wanted to share it with my fellow Virtue(ans?). I know there's a lot of us with Virtueverses, artwork, and all of that good stuff.
Here's a character you may have seen; my OC 'Aglow' as done by Tyra-WM on dA. Great gallery, great artist, and a great person.
You can see a larger sized scale on it here, http://my.deviantart.com/messages/#/d2va4fo
And for further Aglow references, please check out her Virtueverse or her reference sheets, http://raep0w.deviantart.com/#/d2v7a63 and http://raep0w.deviantart.com/#/d2v7cy7 -
Holding it within Pocket D and having broadcast help the hour before it's scheduled to begin would likely bring more in, so long as villains are aware that they will have to wait for the availability of sending that influence won until GR.
Goodluck on a great turnout, regardless! -
Haha. I'm the proud owner of Switchout and Aglow.
I'm actually turning the one of Switchout into a 'journal' piece where her super powers are really put to the test when an old lady asks for her help opening a pickle jar. Switchout's powers come and go, having no real control of her strength so as she tries to open the pickles... nothing happens. Except she farts for trying so hard. -
My OC on the Virtue server, as done by http://tyra-wm.deviantart.com/ on dA.
She was easily one of my favorite artists to work with. She did this in literally less than 24hrs with constant updates and communication. I love her and will be returning for more from her in the future.
For more Aglow info, you can find her under Virtueverse and see her reference sheet http://raep0w.deviantart.com/#/d2v7a63 and http://raep0w.deviantart.com/#/d2v7cy7. -
Quote:Yesss, braided hair would be lovely. Also, I'm thinking classic NA/Tribal options. Feather pieces or fur pieces would not even need to be limited to players in search of creating such a character! Avian-based or other animals could make use of it.Now here's the question. Are we talking all-in-good-fun comic book NA stuff here, or the newage stuff that would make me want to punch my monitor?
However! This is a neat idea. Half of my characters would benefit from a "Tribal" themed booster, and I would love to see feathers, bead caps, braids (it would be freaking awesome if they could use the cape technology for it, so the braids could be all floppy), and dreadlocks that don't look horrible, not to mention some more tribal shield options, one-arm tattoos (some tribes put tattoos on the person's dominant arm, to prevent "counterfeiting"), scarring, some longer dresses, and freaking antler headwear.
You know what else I want to see? Those wacky diaphanous robes that the oracles have in Cimerora, done up as loincloth parts, both long and short.
Edit: Macuahitl as a sword option, dammit. -
I don't think anyone would take offense. By your logic, there are a number of things to be offended by in the game.
Perhaps given the 'needed' costume pieces, more people would attempt a tribal or native american character. -
I believe this would be a great addition to the game. So many people have native american and/or african based characters.
Costume pieces could include tribal knives (chest detail, belt); fur, pelts, skin (chest detail, shoulders, belt, bottoms and tops); various robes, tattered skirt, tribal boots (moccasins), feather headpieces, tribal jewelry.
A costume emote could be a variation of the drumdance, with smoky tendrils included.
I also wouldn't mind seeing more tattoo options, for the females mostly. Especially full length sleeve options as male toons have, or the ability to apply patterns to skin. The main I'm known for, Unhearted, is a tattoo artist who ICly has full length sleeves and back work but we only get tattoos as a 'gloves' option, where it should possibly be under 'tops with skin'. -
My DS/pain is level 40 and I looove her.
