    'Yeah that'll show 'em!'

    [/ QUOTE ]

Waahhh? I'm supposed to hose off my granite armor?!

    Please, no character specific situations

Capn Jack, yours would be: Bugging someone while they are working on something to save the world"

    [/ QUOTE ]

    oh...

    okay.

burring someone while they are working on something to save the world is fine...

    or ...

playing games at the county fair...

    whichever.

((I'll get it right sooner or later))
  8. if you remember Devin and Trinkit...pictures
hows about this kind of situation.

Trinkit is in her work room, making huge and miraculous devices with ease with a bunch of touch screen monitors floating around her displaying her mathematics and engineering schematics, when Devin busts in the room, sits on something (more than likely very dangerous) and asks Trinkit what she is doing later.

She is rather distracted by her work and hardly notices Devin's busting in and sitting on her stuff, and only recognizes his presence to hold things for her.

The whole time, he is talking about this great theme park that opened across town, and it should be lots of fun. Brags about being an expert at the games and could win her a big stuffed animal.

In the mean time, Trinkit is piling stuff on Devin, and unknowing to him, trying to make what he is holding work.

Finally, Devin asks what she thinks. Trinkit smiles as she looks at him, and very excitedly shouts YES. Then, she switches the device on and it shocks Devin before she realizes he is there. She quickly turns the device off and sees if Devin is okay. She appologizes and tells him she didn't see him standing there.

    ==============
Trinkit - She has the powers to create devices out of nothing, inventing things from her own creativity. She also has the power of force fields. Then, strangely enough she is also is her own computer, which intails she can have monitors or keyboard appear out of thin air around her, access to the internet just about anywhere, and solitaire. She gets very deep into her work and tends to block out the rest of the world while she creates. She is trying her best to come out of her shell, by dating Devin on an inconsistant schedual (damn being a super hero!).

Devin - Phaser. He is a hot head and loud mouth guy from Detriot. He ran away from home because his mother was using him to steal from banks and stores and eventually his disgust of his family life sent him off. He eventually returned to theiving to make ends meet and became a weapon collector. Out of all his weapons he looooves his specially made dual pistols. Originally .45s he had them converted into 9mm pistols and chrome plated. Those pistols are almost his defining characteristic, if it wasn't the fact that his Phasing ability has come so far as to allow him to adjust his or other objects density or even visibility. He once planned on using his super group, Mutant Force Five, for an alterior purpose, but since dating Trinkit he has come to odds with himself over his original purposes.
  9. that's a rockin'! Awesome work!

Hey Cap'n, did you ever getmy drawing of Devin? Wasn't sure.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No I didn't... must have gotten buried at that time...

    Thanks very much!

  12. only problem is that it is a lot for someone to digest if they are only browsing...

But the point of the guide is very good and is something players should read to understand there is more than H34l0rz out there.
  13. After using a 4x6 wacom...

I would like to have the 9x12.

I'm also waiting to see how much money I have to see if I can afford the 15' Cintiqe... but, I'll probably realize that I need that extra money for other things like bills and stick with the 9x12 Intuos.

The biggest thing about the operation I remember was the injection to put me under... or more specifically, how fast that stuff worked. I swear, one minute I was thinking to myself "No way this stuff is going to work that fa," then I was waking up all groggy. Oddest feeling...

    [/ QUOTE ]

LOL, that happened to me too! The doc gave me a local anesthetic, then put the needle in my arm and said, "Now I want you to count to 10, but you will be asleep before then."

And I said, "Yeah right! One, two... th-- *Snoooooore*" And when I woke up a few hours later I asked, "Wha? Are you ready to start yet?" And the nurse replied? "Start? No we're finished."

    [/ QUOTE ]

I had the military removal as well...

First, they messed up the shot to put me out... don't ask me how, but I told them I didn't feel right... started getting tunnel vision and very light headed. I saw that moment of "[censored]" on the assistant's face before she was shoved out of the way and the needle was removed and I was given oxygen. Still don't know what exactly happened there.

Knocked out.... for about half the procedure. So, I wake up as they are cranking on my mouth, but I don't care. I sit for a bit and get bored... so everytime they stop working on my teeth and the tech goes in to clear my mouth, I gargle the blood for her. The first time caught her by suprise I think.

When it was all done, and they were lifting my chair to normal height, I spring up and start walking. They all chase me down and force me into a wheel chair even though I was perfectly fine.

Go back to my dorm. Crap on tv... don't feel like going out. So I sit at the sink spitting for half the night...

Next day, I'm out running to chow and having a good time again.
  15. I love this! I can't wait to see it more finished. It almost looks like she is having a ton of fun shoving that sword into a CoT, which makes it even better! (if not, its still rockin')

    Windfallen (wip)

    nice nice NICE!

    that is 3 nices!

Good work. I really like it.
  17. jeez people I've practically been up for 3 hours now...

    laaaazy...

(well, I'd still be asleep if I didn't work today.. but don't tell anyone)
  18. first one is veeery cute.

the other two make me remember all those PBS shows where they would draw in that medium.
  19. Undead_Bubble

    Need practice!

always welcome to take a shot at the Trinkit and Devin duo... or one of them solo.

  20. 1. define her shoulder more.

    2. shape up the arm in foreground

    3. define the back leg ... Its about 1/4th the size of the front one. There is not going to be that much disparity in size at such a short distance.

    4. Body needs to be a little longer... I'd say about 2 1/2 heads from chin to crotch. Plus, she is a little wide, thin her out.

    5. Thighs are a little chunky and I don't think the buttox is as defined as it should be... (could be wrong about the butt...)

    6. Feelt need to be adjusted slightly.

BIG change.... Move it from being a side shot to a 45 degree angle shot. Why? It'll make the picture more dynamic and you'll have more to express with.

Expression wise... think about tilting her head to the side like she is amused and having a little fun that a bird is so close (in a gentle and cute way).. and have the bird flapping or pecking grains.

This is a very good start... just break your character down into simple shapes and start with that... slowly add the detail. I fall prey to wanting to finish a drawing in the same sitting I start it, and I'm sure that is where I go all wrong... Take your time and it will be glorious!
  21. snazzy... and I love the look of the paper beside the cool drawing!
  22. I'd love a drawing of Trinkit and Devin (or one of the two... or a duo picture)

  23. the drawing is VERY cute!
