So I just now logged into the game to see the new MOTD stating to change your password given recent events. What recent events? Was NCSoft hacked? It didn't give much detail.

They keep handing out more and more survivability to everyone. This both makes Tankers less relevant for tanking and makes it even more hypocritical to punish them greatly with low damage for having survivability when they hand out survivability to everyone else and don't make them take a sizeable damage hit for it. It also brings Brutes even closer to Tankers in terms of survivability while the damage gap remains the same.
For my Tanker buff arguments I love the change because it's just more fuel to the fire.
For the sake of the game and power creep... well, that's a whole other thing.

Procs on all attacks handed out: Check
Three powers that add to survivability (Hybrid, Barrier, Rebirth): Check
Double Hit for those at damage cap: Check
Lore Pets for extra damage: Check
Alpha for extra damage: Check
Looks to me like there has been more damage handed out in the Incarnate side of things. Not everyone takes barrier, I've been on 16 man teams where no one had it. -

Why all the rage over jockeying for last place?
If you're measuring damage output vs survival capacity, the scrapper and stalker forums are filled with DPS that will make your head spin with enough survival packed into most of these super DPS builds to weather not just a pylon but often solo at x8 or crush crates in Lambda. If you can solo x8 you can tank for x8.
Both tanks and brutes are obsolete. Brute less so, sure, because it's a newer AT - all the newer ATs are better designed than their pre-I6 companions. But still obsolete.
Change Confront to Taunt (nobody takes it anyways unless they want to tank) and let this end. Scrapper caps are more than sufficient to tank for a team since any situation where a brute is buffed past scrappers 75% by outside sources* means the team is buffed to near unkillable levels anyways.
* Fire damage, energy damage, smash lethal damage can be exceeded interally, of course, in three armor sets. It only matters on farm maps. In general play I've never really noticed a difference when battling with my /elec brute vs my /elec scrapper, even against Mu. I know the difference is there, but with the speed said Mu die to either I've never seen it be a factor. -
I believe its pet mods... I will test this now. I am still not sure if Double Hit effects this power or if Fiery Embrace should. (It currently doesn't)

Going to go for this tonight, looking for some information:
1) How many doors on each bunker? 3?
2) How many bunkers are there total?
3) Do you need to do it on every bunker? -
If you have been on test and tried out Enflame WOW is it good. I think this could possibly make Super Strength into more of a single target DPS beast and AOE beast.
1) Enflame drops 5 Burn patches (well like burn patches) that does 11 ticks over 5 seconds. Every 3 seconds it drops one. The ticks are about the same damage as burn.
2) Rage will boost the heck out of this.
3) For AOE it does a lot of damage, for single target its a fast cast fire and forget. -- At base damage it does a total of 275.22 damage.
4) Procs in it can fire up to 5 times. Everytime a flame is created it has to chance to proc. Slot this with Positron Blast and the new -Res proc and you can keep almost a perma -Res debuff up.
There is a downside, it can create a fear effect or if the target dies. (Immobilize from the soul pool?)
I wonder what the pylon times with this could be. -

I think I will be respecing into Presence and Sorcery from now on to get those T5's. They are just too good to pass up.

10 minutes... the thing is that people are forgetting is that it offers KB resistance. This is VERY good for sets without it.
RESISTANCE TO KNOCKBACK I just wanted to emphasize not only protection. There are quite a few enemies that have a KB so high (think like Maelstorm) that you go flying no matter what. -

I think high resistance is going to unlock a huge amount of survivability for the absorb shields. They are stronger than the regen sustains. For example, Frigid Protection shows 60.24 Absorb per tick. Real Numbers isn't good with showing the activation period but I believe Arbiter Hawk stated it was going to be 3 seconds per Absorb tick. So that's 5% every 3 seconds, fully slottable to 10% every 3 seconds. That's 3.33%/sec of damage mitigation. *IF* you could use it all, that would be equivalent to 800% regeneration. Compare to, say, Force of Thunder which has a +250% regen buff half-enhanceable. So fully slotted that would be about +375% regen, or 1.56%/sec.
*IF* you can use it all, you could have double the mitigation of the +regen sustains, something approaching Regen scrapper mitigation. *BUT* its very difficult to use it all, because Absorb is a use it or lose it mechanism. Whatever you don't use in one 3 second tick you can't carry forward. Its gone, and a new fully charged tick replaces it.
Since defense makes damage more bursty, it will tend to reduce the efficiency of Absorb. Resistance evens out damage, making it increase the efficiency of Absorb. There's no such thing as an apples to apples comparison with Def and Res in the real game because you never get that choice, but the Def has traditionally been the better play because you can get more of it and it mitigates secondary effects and not just damage. But if Resistance can unlock more of Absorb than defense, that might reduce the gap between the two substantially, because Resistance has a lot of upside on an Absorb toggle. -
In the last screenshot you can see the burn patches left by the enflame power. You can cast it on allies or enemies.
