It can't be Rhode Island because of the geography. In Paragon City you have Ocean to the north. I'm not seeing anyplace in the state that would fit the same geography.

And why is there a limit on our ignore list? Every time I hit the spam button now, I'm removing someone from the ignore list to make room.
The current e-mail system is fairly useless. I would like to be able to send influence, recipes, salvage, enhancements, etc. to alts. That would be a useful e-mail system in my book. -
I really appreciate the new 4 person TFs. I tend to do TFs weekly with my brother and two other friends so this will be perfect for us.
And we all knew this issue would be really light given how soon it's coming out after I14. I'm not getting all the complaints about how light it is. -

You can tell that the Rooster Teeth people all play WoW. The mention of sending files with in-game e-mail was the clue. I wish we could send stuff to our alts using the in-game e-mail like all the other MMOs out there.

Would you have the same opinion if they also remove Salvage/Merits/Enhancements/Recipes from MA missions? Because if you think "actual story or entertainment would be far more rewarding", then there should be no problem right? You just want the story, right? Anything else isn't necessary.
Better remove those rewards too, since, OMG people might *stage whisper* farm!

But they have removed the other rewards besides xp for defeating individual mobs for the MA missions. The only attraction next to regular missions is to follow a cool story line. I think that will get old.
At least let us farm the "defeat X mobs" badges needed for accolades. -

I'm still worried that with less rewards for the created content, that there will be a much smaller incentive to actually try them out.
Sure with the newness of it, I will probably even try to create a mission or two. But for the long haul? I don't know. -

I'm not sure what the term would be beyond customized maps. It would be nice to grab a certain chunk of any zone to use for your missions. But I don't think that would be possible yet.
I'm hoping the Devs' goal is to eventually allow us to completely design maps from scratch, or to grab parts of existing outdoor areas. -

I have a lot of concerns about the usefulness of the mission design tool in Architect.
I'm thinking it will not enable instanced maps, and will force users into the warehouse, sewer, office, and cave maps. I'm also thinking it won't enable placement of items on maps. If so, created missions will be a lot like scanner missions.
I'm thinking we will not be able to create new foes or foe groups, but will only be able to draw from the list of existing foes. This is not entirely crippling, but it does severely hurt creativity as new story lines would not be able to embrace new characters.
I'm thinking we will not be able to write any programming. This means we will be limited to boss/glowie missions with the few frills we're given. We won't be able to create ambushes, prisons, patrols, alter foe AI, or have special mission dynamics (as in "protect the henge" in Croatoa), and so on.
And naturally we won't be able to provide players with existing temp powers, new temp powers, badges, costume items, or other things that normally draw players to missions. So ... pretty much the same as scanners, again.
Because of all this, put me in the group of people that expect the new mission design tool to be basically a scanner mission generator, where the main thing we get to do is choose a foe group and write a line of boss dialog.
I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

You forgot to mention that we would be getting less xp/influence as well.
You mentioned instanced maps. Technically all our maps are instanced, even the outdoor ones.
But yeah, we will be designing scanner/paper missions that we will get to write mission notes and dialog for. All for less xp/influence. -

Aside from farming monkeys (which is no longer an issue due to RCS, and never was to be honest) and playing with DE monsters (which is a silly use of a zone), neither do I. It feels kinda unfinished to me... but I'll leave that to others to speculate on.

The purpose of Monster Island on the Villain side is so that they can farm Essence of the Earth inspirations to use on Hamidon raids. The DE monsters drop them when defeated. -
So why is everyone ignoring Patron Power Pool respecs?
One of the biggest complaints about Villains has been fixed and hardly anyone has commented on it.

last weekend logged on a 50 and a second account lowbie to SK, filled my team to 8 (not to pad, but to team), and ran 3 circuts of freaks. Was going to do the same last night just with DOUBLE xp/influence/prestige. I am pretty sure I had better 'results over time' last weekend. the reasons
1.)finding team members was much harder. there were already farms running. there were THREE PI's on virtue so broadcast was less effective. Globals were spotty at best, and I even had problems sending simple tells.
2.) the quality of recruits were lower (no offense to those on my team) but last weekend everyone (even the lowbies) were going at it full-throttle. This weekend I had more people who just wanted to sit and leech. Even though I had 3 scraps and a tank, they were a few lvls short of 50 or were sk'd to someone a couple lvls below 50 and were not capable of taking full aggro. This slowed us down.
3. the 10 minutes it took to load into and out of a mission.
I may just create a villian on a friends server and join his VG that he has bugged me about tonight so that i can play more. I can lvl good enough on virtue anytime. 2XP isnt that much better than normal when ALL factors are considered.

Only 3 PI's on Virtue? There were 6 PI's on Freedom and the first one was frequently full. There are often 3 PI's on Freedom, even during non double xp weekends.
At least for me, things were a lot better at the lower levels. I got a toon from level 11-26 over the weekend and I had a lot of fun doing it. The only real problem I had was the huge log times getting into the missions.
