  1. When I said Electronic Haze was the first AOE I was correct. Irradiate is a PBAoE (in otherwords works best if you get surrounded). I may respec Irradiate into the build later when I have Transference & FS since by then I'll have more than one PBAoE Attack. IMO Irradiate would better if there were more PBAoE attacks to go with it. Personally I'm not into maximizing this attack only to die. I'm not knocking it, just saying its nothing I'd take without other PBAoE's to use with it.

Have a Question on Speed Boost, does slotting END Mod's work only on initial use or does it improve END Regen over time?
(seeing as its normally an in mission power I see no reason to use Run Enhancements).
  2. Trasnfusion wihout End Mod drains little to no END .. Slotting 1 SO (have it on another Hero) Transfusion on that hero is 1 Acc, 2 Heal, 1 End Mod++ amd it draws about 10% END from a successful attack.

As for Proton Volley I may change it out at say 32+ but it gives me a LONG Range Pulling Attack that DeBuffs Defense. As for why some powers have more than usual amounts of slots is ALOT of the powers don't require more than 2 slots total.

The following just need initial slot:
    Swift
    Assault
    Tactics
Denisty Increase Since its normally a before combat I removed the END Reducer).

The Following only need 2-3 Slots Total:
    Health
    Stamina
    Inertial Reduction
    Hasten

So I can Max slot ALOT of my Powers. I use Sniper Shot often on my Dark Dark Defender. I find it makes a great pulling tool. If I can Snipe something and as its closing for melee blast it dead more power to me.

Currently this is my set up and its very powerful solo and as a team player.

Haze IMO is an Absolute Must Have, its your first AoE and its powerful.

This is my current power profile the way I am thinking about doing.

    Paper Character

Someone asked what Paper Characters are.

Answer is simple and old school. Remember Playing AD&D, Champions (The SuperHero RPG), MERPS, GURPS, etc.. and Joe Blow comes over and says Hey Can I play? Rolls up a character and could careless if he lives or dies. No Background just stats and paper.

Paper Characters(Heroes) are those toons that for the lack of anything else have no origin, no concept, no history and probably belong to a min/max player (someone that doesnt have any character concept, a typical Hack-n-Slash player.

    (on a side note)
What's with Tankers? More and More I see Tankers with only 1 or 2 Attack Powers and max out Defense Powers. Hell Taunt isnt even picked. (Of course if tanker can't pull something off the team debuffer/healer BFD the jerk deserves to not get rezzed) What's with the typical HULK SMASH mentality too. Charge into combat no thoughts and cause wipe outs. (nost that do this are Paper Characters too).
  5. Is there a designated server that is RP only? Most of the heroes I've inspected on Virtue seem to have (RP) listed in their Origins.

Curious since all my heroes are made for RP as this is a RPG. Most Paper Heroes(old school gaming term for Dice RPG characters that are all stats and powers and no depth or origin). Paper Heroes are also IMO should play SWG or Matrix (games that need to imagination or creativity).

Now RP in PvP is a site to behold. Heroes ignoring villains that don't fit their storyline and bypassing them to get to villains that do and vica versa. (yet to see it in CoH/CoV. Saw it alot in WoW)
  6. Protector Bot if slotted with a Heal Enhancement HEALS at level 12. I slotted my Protector Bot with 1 Acc, 1 Dmg, 1 Heal(asap). Since my Robotic Mastermind is also a Poison Master with my single target heal I needed help Heal ASAP. Envenom and Weaken (slotted with 1-2 Acc) make them incrediibly useful.... I often Envenom something only to have it die in the next pet attack volley.

Masterminds played sloppy could be a very easy AT to play but if handled with skill can solo where groups fail.
  7. Recall Friend :

IMO is a MUST Power for any Rezzer. Group Wipes out hopefully the last person grabs aggro and runs the enemies While doing so you activate Awaken, Break Free, Catching Breath, turn on stealth and hide in a corner and wait for everything to reset.

For Dark/Dark Healers I know all the good ones I have talked to agree this is a good practice. Recall Friend used with Howling Twilight correctly does have a slight drawback. Here's my current rez tactics on a wipe out. 25th Dark-Dark Healer

If unable to use Awaken, Break Free, Catch of Breath combo, Go To Base and use Beam Up/Beam Down to return to your last zone. SHADOW FALL - ON Get at Max Sniper Range(activate power and move to cancel to set max range), Gather group by using Recall Friend - Stack 'em High in one place, then get ready for the 4 Combo Shot.
    1) Sniper Target (if unable to Snipe just use 2, 3, & 4)
    2) Tar Patch at Max Range(Pre-messure before shooting)
    3) Howling Twilight and Mass Resurrect Team
    4) Grasping Twilight (Cuz the SH33T you just did has 1000% of the Aggro on you and life aint pretty).

As forth other Dark Dark Powers Tar Patch as Often as able, Tentacle, Machine Gun with Nightfall. Typical power activation during combat is Tentacle, Night Fall(or Dark Blast) Twilight Grasp ... Repeat (OK So it gets old fast but Dark Healers that stand toe to toe beside Tankers and Scrappers in Melee get Group Invites and get to pick and choose who you group with),

FITNESS Power Pool is a Must Hands Down.
    (Taken from BlackestNight)
Swift: Once incredibly useful because Shadowfall had a movement penalty, Swift is now just optional rather than encouraged. No END drain either

Health: With the new boost on Health, it’s kind of silly not to take it. It gives +40% Regen and some protection against Sleep.

Stamina: …at 20 (a.k.a. ASAP). Slot it up as fast as you can without neglecting your primary focus (Controlling/Debuffing). Once slotted up, you’ll be able to go from group to group with much less downtime and you’ll be able to spam attacks and control powers much better.

    Fintess Power Pool 5 Stars
    Stamina is a 5 ^^^ Star

I was doing the first Respec TF (mainly to remove TP Self for Super Leaping) Constantly using all my AoE powers plus healing and often going into all powers activated and waiting on recharges and never get below 50% END, while and Empath (who's name I won't mention... that REALLY needed to Respec [and learn respect] ) kept yelling NEED BLUES NEED BLUES. I Have 1 END reducer on all my commonly used powers. I was almost falling out of my chair laughing at this Empath that was running out of END. This Empath didnt even have Recall Friend and was calling me a Newbie cuz I kept saying NO SH33T to her NEED BLUES Yells.
  8. Claws are NOT WEAK. I'll have you know that as Flawliss I deal significant damage that the enemies RUN from me, scatter like the cowardly men they are. I do not use Brawl at all but I do use Flurry and Air Superiority. Using Slash, Air Superiority, Flurry and Spin and I do wonders. Just have to keep a healer on me and I am just as destructive as many Tankers.

Claws (all melee Attacks First Require Accuracy) even though the first enhancements are damage. Rest works best with Recharge IMO. Important detail is carry 1/2 Catching Breath and 1/2 Life Boosters (until you hit 10+ then keep 1 Awaken and 1 Breaking Free as well.
