    Not going anywhere NEAR rabbling.

  2. I'm going to press the keys so hard when I can finally log in to file this bug report. I might even use exclamation marks and capital letters at some point.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it missing the rest of the trial though, based on both my own experience and what others have reported I assume the rest of the league crashed in the same manner and were unable to complete it.

Nope, I was able to hop on my Brute, walk around my base, send out some tells, etc. no problem. I still can't get back on my main. <Disgruntled face>
  4. I still can't get back on the character. This is pretty annoying. Thanks for letting me it wasn't a problem unique to me though.
  5. Alright, so I just crashed out of a TPN for the first time. I tried restarting my client/launcher/computer, and I'm still having this issue.

I go to log in and I get the, "This account is already logged," or whatever it is that's typical when you're kicked.

I try again and I get in. I go to my last played character in hopes of requing to catch the rest of the trial and get this:

    Quote:
Character Septipheran is still logging out. Please wait a second, then try again.
I wait a second, try again, and then I get this:

    Quote:
You have been kicked. Error Code: 109130323
I've never seen or heard of this before. Help is appreciated.

Edit: I just checked and I'm able to log in other characters just fine.

  8. Apparently, there is a Kheldian-Esque sash in the Carnival of Light costume pack. Guess what, though? It looks like it's female exclusive.

I haven't been beta testing, but I just found this image in the feedback forum:

You loved every second of it.

Also, there is an AE arc I found that is meant to recreate the ITF. It seems very accurate. I will meet you guys in Atlas Park on my level one Warshade so we can do the ITF together! Hydraulic Pistons for everyone.

That's what I was trying to say, which is why TopDoc's post about stacking Achilles from pets (ie: stacking the same proc from multiple casters) confused me.
  11. I don't want to say I "hate" anything, but I strongly disagree with some of the design choices. To name a few...

    1. Untyped damage is used too heavily. We have toxic and psi damage for a reason- Most people don't resist them well. Incarnate enemies already have massive tohit and the AV's resist debuffs, so I hardly think most peoples defenses would cover it all the time.

    2. Mez that Clarion at t4 doesn't fix. The gimicky holds in Underground come to mind- I got this tier 4 Incarnate power so that I have it when I do Incarnate trials. It would only seem logical to me that it would, well... Work.

    3. The Lambda badges. Yeah, the Keyes badges are harder, but I think they're also one of the best incentives to run the trial. I like Keyes. The Devs like Keyes. The Devs want you to like Keyes, and they want you to play Keyes. Fine, I get that, and I understand the MoM nightmare badge for the same reason... But there is absolutely no reason to have MoLambda take three runs other than to grief people who want the badges. The trial gets run to death, the extra incentive is hardly necessary.

Overall though, these are just pet peeves. I really like all the trials, I like running the newer ones especially because I'm bored of BAF and Lambda, and TPN and MoM are a couple of the most fun things in the game for me.

    And a quick side rant:

I think the Devs made a mistake in releasing MoM, UG, and TPN when they did. If these trials were the only ones that provided *non-purchasable* Incarnate XP for new slots, I guarantee that they would get run just as much if not more than BAF or Lambda.

As it stands now, the I Trials serve as Empyrean merit farms for most people- We already have every single power available and stockpiled goodies. The new alpha/interface/judgement powers were a nice addition but it really just encouraged more BAF/LAM/BAF/LAM! The only incentive for playing the newer trials is that you like them or you're saving Emps up for a PVP IO (or the previously mentioned badging.) For people like me, who happen to like the trials themselves, it's kinda crappy.

A Merc MM can slot it in EVERY SINGLE PET, plus Burst. So a Merc/TA MM could potentially stack it 9 times. Of course TA already has Acid Arrow and Disruption Arrow for a 30% Resistance Debuff. The debuff lasts 10 seconds, and the MM and most pets will attack at least twice in that time, so a hard target will have on average 3 extra debuffs for a total of 90% Resistance Debuff. That could increase by about another buff (20%) if the behavior is broken in Oil Slick and it check every 0.2 seconds, because that would make it effectively perma. Or it could go down by a lot if it doesn't actually work in the henchmen at all.

Why yes, I do have a Merc/TA that I'm currently leveling up. Why do you ask?

I thought I heard that the Fury of the Gladiator -res proc didn't even stack from different casters, because <reason I don't precisely remember, involving it applying an auto power to the target affected.> Assuming that's true, why would the Achilles proc work differently?

    Attack My Target

I was thinking this thread was going to be suggesting that we should be able to use Mastermind "attack my target," etc. commands for non Mastermind or Lore pets. Now that I could get behind, my fluffies are stubborn and it bugs the crap out of me.

Ah, why would you use those?! You're wasting resources, there's no way to get more. People like just having things to have them, and to some it's worth quite a lot.
  18. I really don't understand a lot of the complaints/reasons why COH needs a "total revamp," or "sequel," or whatever. I see people saying things about customization... Have you ever played 99% of the other, newer MMO's? I'll give you a hint. They give you an outfit to wear. After a while, they give you a new outfit to wear. Custom costumes? Nope. Power customization? Nope. I've seen quite a few that don't even allow for character descriptions to be written by the players.

Sure, I guess some games look "newer," but I think the Atlas Park revamp and Praetoria/First Ward are on par with many newer games aesthetically, and a lot of our costume pieces are really detailed and fancy looking.

And then there's that other thing. Did no one else notice that a corporate giant released a game to compete with this one and it flopped while our game continues to succeed? That might tell you something about the quality of this game and what's more important to players.
  19. Alright, so here's the deal. I moved my mains off of Protector, and I don't plan on playing here anymore, so I won't be able to continue this event. I really appreciate everyone who participated in the past runs, it was fun and I'm glad we were able to get what we got.

I'm not leaving because I hate anyone here or anything, I just feel like right now it's not a good fit for me. I've run into too many headaches, and recently clashed with too many people, and I just stopped having fun. I play this game for fun and when it starts feeling like a chore I stop enjoying myself.

I've made awesome friends on this server who will obviously still be my friends, I just really prefer to spend my time on servers with larger populations. This isn't a slight at anyone here at all, I don't hold any grudges, and I will probably be rolling up a new part time Warshade for Kheldian Fridays.

I just made my Warshade a "heroic" costume, it's much more colorful than everything else I have for him. I used the "fire stripe" pattern since it's used on all the Kheldian NPC's, so I wanted to try it out.

Two of my favorite things to build for are defense and recharge, and the Agility alpha power offers both with a nice helping of end mod. You might want to check it out.

Well I agree that some (more substantial buff) and debuff is needed in a primary power for Kheldians to be the "jack of all trades, master of none" AT they're supposed to be. Debuffing/Buffing... Is kind of important when it comes to that. I would actually prefer for Warshades to just get a resistance debuff similar to Melt Armor, and PB's to have Glowing Touch changed to an AOE heal.

As for Essence Drain.. Yeah the power needs work. I think the Devs need to take a look at Siphon Life, scratch their heads for a few moments, and realize the terrible disappointment that E Drain is.

Do I want to look like a blob, or do I want toggle suppression? Hrm. I'll take toggle suppression for 500!
