  1. Arc Name: Statesman's Task Force
    Arc ID: 4659
    Creator: @TurmoilX
    Alignment: Heroic
    Difficulty Level: Moderate - Difficult

Synopsis: A mini version of the famous STF. TONS of detail was put into this 5-mission arc; from the boss diologue, to the best visual reconstruction possible (Many maps and such, just couldn't be copied as they don't exist in the MA), to the entire story dialogue.

    Number of Missions: 5

Oh dear, what kinda pain will PvP enhancements bring?
  3. I saw a bots/pain kick three or four scrappers [censored] at once in RV
  4. Quills is the anti-stalker power and I might drop ripper for phase if you think you can tell me how to fit it :P
  5. Eventually I'd like my level 50 character to look like this.

  6. Build for exactly a level 30. Is this decent? I mean I will only have the money I make up to 30 and with the lack of slots it makes it hard to make all the powers useable..but for what it is. is this something thats decent? I dunno. It probably could be done way better.. and I'd love criticisms but remember keep this in the eyes of a level 30 poor man for now Hehe.

  7. Hmm..could you explain the use of confront?
  8. PvP build guides? I looked in scrapper and I can't seem to find a good one. Anyone atleast have a build I can look at? I'm new to scrappers and I'm making this character strictly PvP. ( I will probably spend the most time in Sirens)

Not sure if it's been covered, but since we are using existing map sets, is there any way to manipulate the mission's lighting?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    No, but good idea...

Awesome idea, give that man a badge!
  10. I'm getting the error ALMOST every click I make.
  11. [ QUOTE ]
Now wouldn't it be funny if you could get this up and running on an NGague phone? You know, the one "built around gaming". *Makes quotes in the air*

[/ QUOTE ] good luck XD
  12. Hmm, I'm not sure how it would work, I'd
Try it if you have a vnc client for it.

Not sure what that means, but thanks.
  14. I'm using the classic.
  15. Okay here is the setup instructions for how to get your Iphone to "Play" CoX.

    Step one:

Go to http://www.tightvnc.com/download.html and download the first option under "Windows" Called "tightvnc-1.3.9-setup.exe"

(When installing and you come to the screen saying Select Additional Task be sure to check all three boxes UNLESS your running vista, which in that case you'd leave all three boxes blank)

    Step 2:

After installation TightVNC should start itself. When the widow comes up put a password inside the "Set Password" Category and then repeat the same password right below it, then click apply. That officially opens up the server.

    Step 3:

Get your iphone and or touch and take it the home screen, you'll need to have an Itunes account for you'll be using your Itunes "App store" in order to get this app.

    Step 4:

Open the App Store Icon. (The one that comes with the phone, not the installer) and click the search tab. Type in "VNC" and a few opitions will come up on the list. The two you should look for is Mocha VNC lite and Mocha VNC. If you just wanna try things out download and install "Mocha VNC lite" As its free but if you really do plan on using it often I'd buy the 5.99 full version just for more stability and of course the extra features. (The pictures were taken from the Free version of the software)

    Step 4:

Once the software is installed go the home screen on your Iphone and open the app. There will be a button called "Connect" in the top right corner, click it and enter the IP Address shown in the bottom left hand corner of your desktop's screen where the "TightVNC" Icon should be in your toolbar. Mouse over the Icon and enter the IP address that pops up, into the phone. Then enter the password and select the "connect" button in the top right.

    Step 5:

Once you've gotten' everything worked out, and you have control over your PC from the phone I suggest you t ake the time now to drop your connect between VNC by shutting down the app on your computer.

    Step 6:

For best performance, quickly start up city of heroes, log in and get into one of your characters so you can access the options menu.

My suggestion would be to turn the resolution to 800 X 600 and lower the refresh rate, graphics and 3D resolution to the lowest settings possible. I also suggest that you make your power bars, icons and such to about 80 percent on the slider so that you can view everything in your Iphone's window at the same time once you position the windows in game. If all of this is done correctly you'll manage about 10 FPS on your Iphone which is enough to move about, check emails, send tells and check up on the market. However I do NOT suggest things like ..fighting? TFs and 8-man MM teams are attempted VIA your phone.

    Step 7:

Shut down your game after setting the new options. (Exit completely to the desktop.)

Start up the VNC app on your phone and connect to your computer.

Once the connection is made, start up CoH once again.

    Step 8:

Move your in-game windows around (On your computer) as well as your adjusting your zoom on the phone's app so that all HUD can be seen in one picture.

    Step 9:

Enjoy, and use the "refresh" button in the Iphone's VNC app should the screen get stuck.
  16. Pictures!!!

Guide is still comin' up! but these are some pictures for ya to look at, As you can tell its not exactly the same as Im only getting about 10 FPS, however making a quick-drop in game from your phone to check the market or send a buddy a tell is very plausible.
  17. It works!!! Screenshots and instructions coming soon!!
    ----
You need the computer you play coh on to be on a wireless network.
You need about one gig of ram.
An iPhone 1st gen and 2nd gen or an Ipod touch, updated to 2.0 firmware.
    An iTunes account.
A full charged battery (it sucks battery so be prepared)
    The latest version of TightVNC.

Send me a PM if you absolutely can't wait for me to type up a full guide.
