PvP build guides? I looked in scrapper and I can't seem to find a good one. Anyone atleast have a build I can look at? I'm new to scrappers and I'm making this character strictly PvP. ( I will probably spend the most time in Sirens)

i have a PvP spine/regen, mostly arena tho. bit if your focusing on zone and stuff up to lvl 30 then u might wanna consider these powers. i dont have a build to post, due to technical diff atm, but i do know my build off the top of my head.

you can go a few diff ways with your secondary. you plan on spendn some cash? you lookn for a +rech build?

Hope this helps some, if i get Mids working i will post my build. It does exceptionally well for me, and im sure it will for you to.

A few things to consider: Slot your Reconstruction, DP and IH with 5 Doctored Wounds and 1 Rech Red IO

Build up and Focused Acc both can take 5 Adjusted Targeting

CJ and MoG can Take LoTG +7.5 rech

If you come across any Regen Uniques, put them in your passives..i.e. Fast Healing and Health

In my quills i have 2 acc IOs and 1 Proc (PoTT chance for rech slow)

All my attacks Lunge, Impale, Ripper and Throw Spines have a purple set in it

When all is said and done, and you spend anywhere from 500-900 million you can have anywhere from 136-170% rech i think.

Ok, got it to work i think. heres what i run on my Spine/Regen, you go a few other ways, but this one does just fine. I prolly have around a billion invested into him, but thats from alot of overspending too.

in i13 barb swipe is your most damaging attack (from your primary)

jump kick (if you're picking leaping anyway) does 112 base dam and flurry (if you're picking speed anyway) does 170 base dam.

Which means, flurry would be your hardest hitting attack by a fair margin and jump kick would be fall in behind barbswipe and impale.

Three powers I'd use: impale, barbswipe, and flurry.

Any other powers and you will just be doing less damage.

For post sirens I'd add: lazer eyes (130 base dam) and trow spines (crappy damage, but another ranged attack).

Ripper is trash now and your powerpools should be:
speed - hardest attack, hasten, and speed = good
leadership - can't hit what you can't see and everyone has at least a stealth IO
leaping - not nearly as vital as before, but sj is still really good
fitness or concealment - considering you will never shut of sj or superspeed under the new suppression rules hurlde and swift are much less useful. If you find you are having end issues then stam is still good. If you can get by without stam, just using QR and IO's then phase is still very good as is stealth+stealth IO.

Especially with it being autohit right now and all... it's basically like being able to turn a Blaster into a meleer anytime you want to.

Build for exactly a level 30. Is this decent? I mean I will only have the money I make up to 30 and with the lack of slots it makes it hard to make all the powers useable..but for what it is. is this something thats decent? I dunno. It probably could be done way better.. and I'd love criticisms but remember keep this in the eyes of a level 30 poor man for now Hehe.

Wow, people still worry about stalkers asing them




Edit: like you should have ever had to worry about them. At least now they can drop you from range and are way more viable threat against a pvper who doesn't stand perfectly still in the middle of a zone.

Seriously quills is worthless because it drops from mez anyways. Only attacks you REALLY need are barb, lunge, impale, laser eyes. Then get recharge.

Quills-worthless

and a stalker by himself is pretty much not going to be able to 2 shot anyone even if he does get an AS off against you, so you really don't need to worry about having quills running to attempt to get unhide them.

Seriously, AS isn't anything to worry about on another melee toon. My Regen has around 1730 HP base, and a Stalker's Build Up + AS + Energy Transfer + Total Focus had me simply reaching to click Reconstruction.
