board walk and park place.

That would have been my guess as well, but incorrect according to the Big Know-It-All Book.

AHAHAHAHA if I did that I think id get a small vacation from the forums from niv and koj .
Also I think id likely give forumites ulcers if I started posting nude gift art of their characters
<blinks>
"Scarf thanks for the art ...sorta but why is my robot naked and anatomicly correct ? "

Scarfy, I love gift art as much as the next person, but no one needs to see Turkey's giblets. Wise decision.

There, fixed mine, as long as DA doesn't post anything the mods don't like on their daily deviations - they're at the bottom automatically on the page.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow, I didn't realize that V.6 did that to the individual art pages. And there's usually 1-2 artistic nudes in the daily deviations each day. that rightly sucks. That's going to make linking to art on DA difficult, unless you link directly to the "Download" of the pick.
Though it looks like if you go to the artist's gallery, you're looking directly at just their art. No DD's or Faves there, may work for siggy links....
NSFW Rule = understandable and fine
DA V.6 = okay
NSFW RULE + DA V.6 = teh suck nightmare.

I'm not sure why you do - I can understand people wanting to make sure that they are doing something that fits with the current moderation rules so that they don't get hit by the hammer. Perhaps when they click your link to your DA page and find a fave that was questionable and remove your link, you will understand why people want to get this right.
[/ QUOTE ]
I just mean that if you do click the links in my siggy, then you won't find anything questionable.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, you could in theory, TA. You've got some NSFW flagged pieces in your favorites, which could randomly end up on your main DA page, making your page and the link in violation, which I believe is what Ether is trying to get at.
TL -
[ QUOTE ]
You can only view not work safe pictures on DA if you have an account and are logged into it....
[/ QUOTE ]
Unfortunately, that only works if the artist that posted the piece has flagged it as NSFW, which is not always the case.

Hmm that would make an interesting piece of art, course we'd have to add catgirls and Scarfy to the mix. :P
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, but I probably wouldn't be able to link directly to it from the forums.

[ QUOTE ]
Is there a way to create a link to a DA page that insures a PG view of the artist's home page, even if that possibly means NOT showing Recent Deviations?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, if the artist in question is entering their pieces correctly, there should be. If you're not logged in to DA, everything that is NSFW should be blocked from view. But that requires the artists to be flagging their work as SFW or not, and not all artists bother to do that. You can't even be guaranteed not seeing NSFW by going to the main DA page.
TL -
You asked for it!
You already have heard about the butt cheek tail, so I'll forgo that, but I would like to mention that I was tempted to give Deebs bigger ta-tas, for the 18-24 male market, but then I would have had to sacrifice the water wings.
Water wings > big bewbages.

Real life whupped on me right good. Two jobs, fatherhood, and a wife that's been doing play practice every night for the last two weeks can really make its presence known.
Plus I was suffering from a big ol' attack of Artist Block/Burnout.
But I've been getting the hankerin' lately, so hopefully the hands will start obeying the imagination again.
TL -
It was my dA site...it's all full of the pron and whatnot.

What the hey?
I'm away being all artist blocked for a little while and this place suddenly becomes the Thunderdome or some such. Remember, anger leads to hate, hate leads to the Dark Side. Angst has no place in art! There's no crying in base paint!
Because of this, the Official Unofficial Super Happy Fun Time Guy is back. This forum needs an enema, and I've got the perfect Turkey Baster for it.
