So I got my thug MM to 30 today.

This is my 2 cents, well, maybe 5 cents.

1.) I LOVE the sound that we make to call the low thugs.
I mean, it is unique, its just like a gang members whistling for his/her buddies. I even spawn pets just to hear it.
2.) The whole random look of your thug when you spawn, very nice.
3.) The 2nd tier pets, I don't know if it is just me, but he seems to be a bit on the stupid side compared to the others.
For example.
So I am in a mish, and im walking down the cave, getting ready to take on some CoT right, and this idiot just goes hauling out from behind me and goes off runnnig forward into the mobs, and runs back bringing them to me, then decides he will turn around and shoot. O.o
4.) Gang War, this is probably THE most confusing power ever invented. When you call forth the 10 gang boys to come fight for you its like.. WHAT ARE THEY DOING! NO CONTROL!
Personally, I love it that way!!!

Lastly, my 5th cent.
5.) What in gods name are you guys talking about? Sound of the gun... Does it really matter? For as cool as it looks, and as much damage as it does, I wouldn't care if it Quacked when i fired, grow up.

How's the Brute? Does he seem to have some toughness?

When I used the equip power my thugs changed to the tank tops with tats, which is how I made my character. I was wondering if that's how they all look, or if they try and resemble you a little.

Also, I love how long all the spent shells stay around. If you double back through a long mission you will still see them.

Thanks for the work Laughing Man, you really brought some fun to my night. I used a lot of there on protector to protest Ghost Falcon, the true force behind ED. His price gouging must be reckoned with.

Thanks for the chime in Statesman, I made a Rad/Rad defender and so far my SG seems to really like teaming with him.

I typed /respec just to see what would happen and it gave me a message to see Jack Wolfe in Galaxy, that sure made it easy. I'm glad I tested it out, because I was really right with what I wanted, great to know ahead of time.

Guess I just screwed up bigtime. I did it last night, choose respec out of the awards offered, then went to bed. Figured I'd think about it through the day and make sure I get it right. I went to the contact today, and she tells me I need 3 more people like I'm trying to start a TF.


I was under the impression that you could keep these and didn't have to use them the second (or there abouts, that the mission was over). I wasn't the leader, is it just the leader that actually gets this, or everyone invovled.

EDIT: Seems things may be in order, when I logged back in there was a text line in the chat box saying I had one unclaimed respec. Think I will do the test server thing like all the smart players. I'll be back here to whine and edit again if things are still not working.

The boss from the SG I'm in was trying to find him, we were trying different things we heard, I can't really give info on what they all did, just helped them try to look for him.

Finally we did spot him running through town on the protector server, Fade Away was a level 20-21, I was 23 sked to a 37. When Paladin showed up it was purple, but only a level 10 Giant Boss. He's not much of a hard hitter, or at least not to my sk'd tank, but he can take a ton of hits.

To each of us it seemed like we were all fighting a purple boss, without much difference in our ability to hit it, or the damage we took. Each got 5k xp and 2.5k inf. Was a cool thing to see, I [Censored] when it took the stairs to get over one wall.
