  1. This is a great concept so couldn't help myself trying out different costumes last night and asking a friend who painted the figures for his opinion. We choose the Huge body type, set to average or athletic for marines and maximum for terminators. Took a few pics.

This one my friend says is more like a terminator, he liked the powergloves

Quite liked the ridge on the helmet but didn't feel right

This one he really liked, he felt it was quite close to the standard space marine, The shoulderpads and the helmet can have different colours for distinguishing rank, specialisations etc.

Another angle of the one he liked

Between us we also picked a purple laurel wreath as the symbol, Imperial colour of Purple and the laurel wreath as a symbol of the emperor. I liked it because it didn't block the vent on the front of the armour as many other symbols did. Don't have a pick that shows the chest detail though

I wish there were more hours in the day so that I could join up. Hope you don't mind making suggestions even though I am not in the SG.
on the otherside though my friend is more interested in CoH now
  2. apothecary = SILVER w. graphite touches

    nearly all white?
  3. Very interesting link, thought this was quite good.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven_Guard

"Raven Guard armour is primarily black, with varying trim for different specialisations (Green for Tactical, Red for Assault, and Yellow for Devastator squads), and has only changed in the application of the specialisation patterns since the Heresy.

The Chapter symbol is a white raven, wings outstretched, on a black background."

Reminded me of the colours used for the Hami raids and it would allow the IR to maintain the overall look. Just a suggestion.
  4. It would be nice if it showed some info regarding the SG. A City map showing where everyone was, a list of missions that each member has, stats etc.
  5. Thanks for the TF guys. I really enjoyed this one. Short but challenging.

I need to get to bed, can hardly keep my eyes open
  6. Ma'aT would love to try this, new TF for me. Not sure about the hat though.
  7. I shall check out both of their behinds so that the same mistake is not repeated. Gemstones maybe twice, just to be sure.

  8. Ma'aT - controller
    Tleollin - controller
    Fire Inspector - controller
    Neferous - controller
    Void Jiaozy - WS
    Deadly Shadows - WS
    Lord Friday - tank

I was just making a list to see who was coming. Sorry FI got you and Gem mixed up.

    Fire/Kin Build

I had thought to not take Bonfire as it didn't mesh well with my Rad secondary. I took it with the idea of respeccing out later. Now I am keeping it. Great control, blocking doors, creating an anti melee zone to stand in or to protect others. Last night I used it to keep a +5 lt out of my hair while the monkeys took apart his minion buddy. Then we turned on him. I also used it to break up a large group, used fire cages to immobilise them then used a corner to break line of sight with the majority. I have fire cages slotted with ImmobDur x 3 for this tactic, it saves me having to stick my head out too often to reapply. It might not be for you but I would certainly try it first.

Hotfeet is another power that may not be for everyone. I love it. I use Radiation infection and Enervating Field to keep me safe while I am up close. You would need to find an equivalent in Kinetics. More use solo I would say as most other AT can take down much faster than Hotfeet will.
  10. Same here, I prefer to team rather than solo, so if you need help or just want to join a team let me know.
  11. Just to confirm that this is the eight for tonight?

    Ma'aT - controller
    Tleollin - controller
    Gemstone - controller
    Neferous - controller
    Void Jiaozy - WS
    The Late - scrapper
    Deadly Shadows - WS
    Lord Friday - tank
  12. I watched for this, it looks as if the AV 'stumbles' a little but doesn't fall. He didn't attack while this was happening so its probably still worthwhile laying down.
  13. I wouldn't mind helping out with Ma'aT if theres a space. Sometimes RL throws me a curve ball when I get home so don't wait for me.
  14. Loved all 3 stories. Play less - write more

Great background and I want to know more about this other persona she has come to the truce with.

    Memory Lane

Ditto on Power Blast. Hooked me, sinker and all.
  16. I am looking for the 1st Respec and am on the last leg of the Striga Arc so may have that available tonight. All going well. Got a little sidetracked in Pocket D last night.
  17. Teleport is a bit clumsy to use at first but it is great for getting up close and personal over the top of a slow AoE and avoiding immobilise effects too. I watched a Blapper use it to great effect.

    Heavy on End though.
  18. I would say Storm.

Empathy is good but Storm looks far cooler.

    Buffs

    cheers.

So no suppression as such, just the animation of the power. Thats what I needed to know. Many thanks

Ah, the Statesman school of tanking.

    now thats funny

    /e applause

    Buffs

Quick question. Does the use of Fortitude or heals cause the suppression of travel powers to kick in?

What I found was I had a lot of slots later on that I was struggling to find a place for. Any comments welcome.
  23. I used to dread Earth controllers in a team. With my Empath as soon as a fight started I found it really hard to see what was happening with all the Earth graphics around. Especially the flying mobs that would get held. These would leave huge stalagmites all over the place. A nightmare in cave maps.

    /e ducks thrown objects.
  24. Out of interest does anyone know what the numbers would be for the strongest single Acc debuff would be? I am thinking that RI from the Rad set would be a good contender.
