  1. Yeah I meant VIP thanks for the catch lol. I guess I just feel like I wasted money over the years for things that we can now purchase with points for having a sub. In no way am I trying to be greedy just want to see something I can benifit from with the points
  2. I've been around since launch and really don't post up too much on the forums but do browse and do my search fu for characters I might create. I love the game and have even kept up my sub even when I might be away working out of state. I have bought every booster pack out there (except party pack I think). I always get excited about new content coming out and wait like a little kid on christmas for the dl to come. I know that this is just a rough draft as to how things will come and I'm not trying to complain cuz either way I keep my sub regardless until there is no more game to play I just hope that they come out with more than just what we are seeing here. Basically what I'm getting down to is that I will always have a premium account status because I'm that hooked on the game and its one of the only ones that I can play at home due to satelite internet. So as of right now I already have all the costume unlocks from the packs and I will receive one transfer token a month, access to signature stories, and new powersets too if I read correctly? All of this I am extremely excited for but I'm still trying to think of what my Paragon points will go to... The only things left for me to use my points on would be transfer tokens, respec tokens and character slots. With me being a long time vet respec tokens are taken care of and I can't really see me using alot of transfer tokens. Maybe a couple moves to the VIP just to check out the server itself. One thing that I saw that sparked my eye would be if we could unlock accolades account wide. I know it sounds greedy but doing the same thing for all of my characters is quite a grind for someone with altitis. Another suggestion i would like to bring up for costume unlocks that I would love is the costume codes you have raffled off like freakshow or carnival etc. To sum this long post up ( and I'm sorry its long). Basically I've been here for a while and put alot of money into the game but feel like I'm not really able to apply this new feature that is coming. I hope there is more to come with the paragon points system and as always I'll be a loyal customer

    Kinetic Combat?

    I just have a really quick question that I hope someone can answer for me. I see that people have posted up in several posts that you can cash in hero merits for a kinetic combat recipe. I've ran several of my 50s through the whole deal of tip missions for my merits and when I go to the box near BOTLER that recipe never pulls up! Do I need to unlock something or talk to a different contact or is this a glitch on my end? Please someone lead me in the right direction.... much appreciated all

This helps out alot and I guess its time to hit the grindstone with a couple of my brutes :P By chance how many merits do you get for the alignment mission and where to you cash those merits in at or are they just like the regular reward merits.     I started my scrapper off with the 2xp weekend and once I began I could not put the character down at all. He is now up to lvl 41 as of now and I have been working with MIDS to try to work something out for better survival. I don't know exactly which way to take him.... I've tried to go with S/L defense soft cap and it comes down to 2 or 3 sets of Kinetic Combat which is pretty expensive. I know if I put in more I'll get more but man the prices for some of the recipes or crafted enhancements is up in the 60M-125M. I also wonder if I should build up for recharge because of energize? Basically I just need some suggestions or builds that would make my scrapper seem a tad more sturdy. I dont really see that many sets to help build on resistance like there are for defense. Sorta seems like the sets lead you to have to have defense sets. Anywho any help would be appreciated and much needed
  7. Yeah not tryin to sound like the souryuck. But like I said powers like dominate subdue are already in the powersets for another ATs so why not let us at least change the colors. It's not gonna kill me of course but just wanted to be allowed to finish my theme for my fort
  8. Just wanted to post up about Power customizing for a SOA. This is not a rant or flame post, just wanted to see if anyone feels the same way or has any suggestions. Don't know if anyone has posted up about this either due to my weak search fu. Basically I have a Fortunata that I have finally rolled over to the hero side. So while taking care of one of my tip missions I was thinking that I would go to the tailor and change the colors and animations of my powers. I also have a mind/psi dom and liked how the hand animations look. So I get there and go to the powers tab and find out that I can't do anything to it at all. grrrr This really confuses me considering some of the powers are the same animations as my dom and to not be able to even change the colors is frustrating. Just figured it wouldnt be that much of a problem to fix considering SOAs are the elite picks after hitting 50 (or use to be). Is this the same way for the maces for banes? Can the maces be switched to the alt maces they have for brutes or tanks and such? And I guess this can tie in with the crab pack as well. I mean I have a crab build myself and have heard alot of people say they dont take it due to the arms on it. Anywho just wanted to see if anyone feels the same way or if any ideas have been pushed up to the big red names. Thanks and hope to get some replies

    Free X-Fers

    Yup having the same issue as you. Tried to transfer 2 toons to another server and it said the same thing. Then a message pops up and says that you will not be charged. I went to check on how many transfers I had left and now I'm down to 3 as well. I'm sure its running like this because of everyone logging on at once. It's probably like a stock market right now but I hope i get my transfers back. I was also looking for the post they had put up about the transfers and couldnt find it at all. guess I'm too excited :P Anywho does anyone know if they are running the transfers like earlier in the year.... I think they recharged if I'm not mistaken? Hope someone can lead us in the right direction Toxic cuz it looks like we are both in the hole.

    In game e-mail

    Typically when I transfer influence/infamy in between my characters in the top left part it lists who your sending it to. I always put @(global name) ex @JohnDoe. I always put the @ symbol in front of my global name. Not sure if you need to but I always get my inf or enhancements that I send. Now keep in mind that you cant send and email from a villian to a hero or vice versa. (I wish they would do this or make a bank for your account so all your characters could access it) Anywho I hope this helped out a bit and if I missed something I'm sure someone else can help you further

  12. I've been playing CoX for a long time but never really got guts to really post up on the forums that much. Now has come time for me to start askin for suggestions or builds for a brute I have. Right now I'm at lvl 45 and although what I do have slotted now she's a tough cookie aside from a head on collision of psi damage. Basically I'm posting up what I have slotted as of yet but wondering if I might be nerfing myself or goin in the wrong direction. My resistance is pretty high and dont know exactly what other route I might be able to take. Any suggestions or other builds would be welcome and appreciated since I dont see that many Inv brutes out there.
