Don't rule out that Short Circuit stops (supposedly) end regen. So, if you can get them to zero, (AND keep them from running away) then you can KEEP them at zero. They cannot regen from powers such as Stamina and such. (Unless they choose to let these powers and inspirations override the ability of SC to stop regen)

Crenson, sounds like speculation on your part...but I'd like to see the numbers. Heck, any combo that relies on Whirlwind is gonna be a hoot to watch implemented. (read: meet ya at the hospital)
Yeah, I didn't factor in the power boost he was using. Sorry 'bout that. Power Boost is the meanest mammer to ever Jam a Mammer. Heheh. Using the Energy Secondary you can turn any blaster....ANY BLASTER....into a damaging machine that will out melee damage wise any scrapper on the block.
I didn't believe it until I was helping a blaster on test and got to watch him 3 shot a boss +4 levels. Woah baby!! Plus he could stun them almost 100% of the time. Rockasaurus Rex!
Which brings us to Test server. I'll be off today after 6PM CST and able to provide a Kin/ Elec 'Fender on test with which we can try to drain an AV. I can also make video of the whole ordeal, so let me know when and where.

Pixel, I hate to be argumentative, but everything you are posting seems to go completely contradictary to what every other person in the thread is stating. Red and Orange bosses completely drained in ONE Short Circuit? Not that I don't believe you, but it has never done so for me when I use the power (Six slotted w/ End Drain).
AV's, we all can agree here, are completely immunized to our attacks. I work until midnight CST, but after I get home tonight I"d be happy to copy Mr. Taxi to test and help try to drain an AV...but I'm not real confident it would happen. ESPECIALLY if the AV tries any of those "Damage the heroes" tactics. LOL

Who knows why Cuppa does anything? Seems childish and unprofessional to go around monkeying w/ threads that ARE on topic and ARE about CoH. I recon she couldn't find a flame here so, changing the title was all that was left.

As to the fake nemesis. I know movement powers are inherent to mobs (such as a shocker flying) but a fake nemesis can do de-solid (phase shift) with Zero or at least Next to Zero endurance. This really ticks me off! When Statesman puts, "Mobs require a certain amount of end to use powers." I wonder if he means ONE END?!?!?!

I did notice the end drain from clocks. They'd always make me carry extra end inspirations.
As a Kin/ Elec Defender I use the following powers with great regularity to drain end.
Transferrence: Drains ALL of an equal level minions end, MOST of an LT's, and about HALF of a boss's. This is with NO end drain enhancer.
Transfusion: Exact same as Transferrence.
Ball Lightning: Used for DMG, as END drain is not noticible w/ this.
Short Circuit: Drains over 1/4 from almost all mobs the same. ADDED bonus of locking out END recharge for a short duration. This I have 6 slotted w/ Recharge redux (with perma hasten) so that the mobs DON'T regen END.
Lightning Bolt: Used solely for DMG, as END drain is not noticible here, not much anyways.
What am I getting at? Thanks to Transferrence, and Transfusion I can get the mobs to zero pretty quick. Relying on Electricity to do the job would leave me.....visiting the Mr. Taxi wing of the hospital. (Gawd how the HMO's hate me.)

#1 End drain only works if they're fully drained, partial, it's a no go.

Ooops. That's not true. Some AV powers require an amount of Endurance - so that if the AV doesn't have it - he can't use it. So bringing one down to 0 isn't exactly necessary to have an impact.

Hate to burst your bubble, but this statement is false. I can drain a mob (not just an AV, but ANY mob) to zero endurance, but as soon as their end bar has ANY blue in it they are immediately able to fire off any power in their repatoire that has cycled. Go fight the fake nemesis if you don't believe me.

Sorry, played on test earlier today. Fix doesn't seem to have taken. I bugged the approx. 12 things I found wrong. Not the least of which being the respec bugs (note bugs as in plural). Also noted are the large number of mobs still spawning together in Hollows...also mind numbing number of Lt's per minion in said groups.
WereVampire -
Nice theory Pos, but doesn't work. I have reversed SK'd on TWO missions that gave badges, and I didn't recieve the badge for. This is Post Expansion 2. I bugged them both in the event this was how it was supposed to work.
In one of the missions ONLY the mission holder recieved a badge. In another ONLY the non-exemplared players recieved a badge.
This system still needs work apparently.

Mutant of the city, that last part is a neat idea. Certain mobs that only spawn to groups of certain sizes.

If 1 hero takes out 12 minions, by your own math, that is 480 xp just for him. To get the same 480 xp each, your group of 8 has to kill 55 minions in the same time period. Your groups cannot kill 55 as fast as a decent soloer can kill 12.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, they can. IF the group goes to the zones with the spawns of the appropriate size...

See. You are Supposed to be herding.

After spending the past hour reading this entire thread, and thinking long and hard about Statesman's responses I have come to a conclusion....
He doesn't play this game.
I don't know what game he's playing, but it is my opinion it isn't the same one I'm in. There are too many points he tries to make that are refutable, and FAR too many things that are outright untrue. The whole "You need to kill mobs on the way to the missions, and count those then you'll be making good mission XP" (paraphrased) is hogwash.
That is just one example. This is my opinion. Flame me if you want, but Jack, c'mon....play on Justice w/ My SG and we'll be happy to show you the way players actually play the game...not the way you "think, or wish" that we play. You make too many assumptions based on numbers and data, and almost NOTHING based on playtime. I know your time is limited so I recommend hiring someone to play...just to play...and give you a better view. When they tell you "Look Jack, I don't care what your numbers say my Defender can't get a pick up group and has been lvl 17 for 8 days" then you MIGHT see the light. Until then...thanks for the posts. Honestly, thanks.
