Ummm....yeah.....except that I DO pay attention and still I miss most the Alerts now because the green does not stand out enough from everything else. I much preferred the bold red color. I, personally, was not bothered by it before because for me it was easy to glance at it then give it a couple seconds to scroll out of my window but I understand it was a problem for many. I would have to /sign my wish that they would take an underused channel and use that.

That's what I thought too but it is not listed anywhere that I can find. I have now looked on 3 different toons, all that I know for certain did earn them.

Will someone please tell me where these pieces are located? I just went to Icon and cannot find them in Tights or in Tights with Skin. I know this toon earned them because she is wearing them in a different costume already. When I checked this costume to see where it was located it appeared ON TOP (not above) of the NONE in the Tights category.

This is a disaster waiting to happen. The Freedom server already has a "less than an optimal gaming experience" due to its population size. We've seen the overpopulation problem on Freedom during Double XP weekend when players couldn't even log onto the server. Now the reality is that every day could be like Double XP weekend on Freedom.

Is this transfer of characters without server restrictions also going to be accompanied by a server upgrade? If not, the "we'll fix it if it breaks" philosophy contradicts your claimed sensitivity to population issues, because the population size of Freedom is already a known problem. Unrestricted server transfers to Freedom will only make an existing problem much worse.

My suggestion is to not jump to the conclusion that everyone will be rushing to transfer ONTO the busy servers. I know of many people, including myself, that can't wait to get away from the crowds and lag and such.

Thanks for the update. I am one of those anxiously waiting for this service to go live so it is nice to hear what progress is being made towards it. Do you need a guinea pig to try it live?????

Again, I disagree. There is an objective, it just happens to be one that does not appeal to you. The Accolade power you can earn is sweet and there are many players who are happy for the opportunity to get it on additional alts. As for the drop ships, that was never even marginally interesting for me. I'm not saying my opinion is better but just pointing out that not everyone looks for the same things in the game.

IMO the event was not a total failure and it was not "dumped" on us but it was brought back due to the numerous requests.

The invasion event needs a TOTAL recode and redesign. Until it can be made interesting, varied, and exciting, it is just a complete waste. It is worse than a waste, since the spam and the performance hit actually WORSEN the normal game experience for a lot of people.

I, for one, am glad the invasion was brought back. I can chose to take part in it or I can avoid it, whichever I desire at the time. And even though the pre-set scheduled days does take away from the spontaneous nature of an invasion it makes it so much easier to plan your game play time around it for either taking part or avoiding it.

As for me, I am not bothered by the Admin Invasion alerts but I could really get behind more control of where we get them. It seems like a simple solution to keep everyone happy.

No this only means we had announced previously that we would give 30 days notice if we were ever to re-enact the policy.

The character transfers and character renames are not tied to this policy, and it will go live when it is ready whether before or after August 29th.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm very excited and anxioius for the server transfers but of course I want the bugs to be worked out first. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.
