Ohh that’s new to me…. I always thought it was three Main Arcs and unlimited Minor Arcs. I guess this is something that has been changed at some point?

Have you already got 3 story arcs running on other contacts? You can have a maximum of 3 Story Arcs running at once (not including mini arcs).

edit: Oh i just re read that. You say your contact bar is full? You mean the Detective *insert name here* bar is full? then you need to do the bank mission and complete it, return to the Detective and he will pass you onto a new contact.

Tidgy Tigeress (Grav/Emp Controller) now has 534 badges and is very happy not to be collecting the more extreme targets such as the Leader badge.

Using /r has worked every time for me since this bug appeared. It works in the same was as the backspace though in that it will only respond to the last /tell you recieved.

If you got a bugged /tell then another complete /tell using /r will respond to your most revently recieved complete message, not the broken one.

KaTet can you get your bank to produce something on paperwork stating that you have paid the funds into the account and then fax this or scan and email it to 'billing support'?
Maybe that is sufficient evidence?

You don't say which server you play on the most. Do you really find it that quiet on both? You also don't mention if you play Villains or Heroes mostly and if you find it quiet on both?

Urgh yeah i have to agree that it's best to join a task force or trial when you are near the limit of it. I find it much more fun being able to hit things and making a difference in the team.

I'm sorry, but if you are on every night then it would not take long to get to 50.
If you are eager to get an Epic toon i would suggest you create teams / join teams and complete the levelling on your level 40 toon.

I'd like for the servers to be busier so i'd say yes to a merge (if it was possible), but i'd want a new name for the server. It would not be right to call it Union or Defiant.

I guess the biggest issue is the duplicate names though, but i wondered if our global names could be used in some way to overcome this.

I expect there will be some people hoping to create a pact with total strangers, but i for one won't be accepting any! I will pact with friends in the SG and family only. My concern is that when i make a new toon will i get a random Pact invite message box pop up on my screen?

I really dont want to see that happening and there should be an on/off option for it. Can anyone confirm?

When i decide to do a TF i do it for fun and for rewards. I like to know that after a possible long struggle i get rewarded with something that reflects that effort.

I’m looking forward to Multi-Builds because on some of my toons I want to be able to have a build for teaming (and task forces) and a build for solo play

I agree that it can be annoying.

On my empath I have a bind to resolve the “buff me please” request when I am mezzed.
I hit a key and “I am Held/Slept and cannot buff” pops up.
On my Bubbles Defender I have a bind that I can use that comes up in local “Bubbles are on their way!” so that folk know I am doing the rounds with the buffs.
And on my Kinetic and Thermal I always ask the team before I buff them and try hard not to apply buffs where it’s not wanted.

It is hard sometimes in the heat of battle to reapply shields or any buffs to the correct people. I have accidently buffed the wrong person before, but always apologized. The worst thing I found was when another toon joined with the same power set and starts buffing everyone without asking….i always feel like everyone is glaring at me when it wasn’t me!!

It’s easy to blame the healer when someone dies. Some people just don’t notice that he was held or slept and could not help the victim.
The bind for Held/Slept has always helped to prevent the accusing fingers pointing.

What about Crafting Badges?

Also there are the special events like Valentines, Halloween and the Winter events?

There are many times when players need to go AFK. We all have to eat and drink and visit the toilet at some point! These short breaks away are never normally a problem for the team as it’s usually just a few minutes. However, some players take much longer breaks when saying AFK, some take too many AFK’s and some go AFK without saying a word!

Generally I think the community here is very understanding about being AFK but I was curious…what are your breaking points? How much AFKness would you allow? Is there a general limit? What is your limit?

Thats why i remember the tanks not having mudpots on back when i used to do this TF. It was the taunt in mudpots, not the attacking part! Gah! Brilliant, thanks....are you free to tank tonight?!!

We had the tower order as Red/Green/Yellow/Blue i think...certainly not Blue as priority. Will try that though Xemulas, thanks for tip.

Yes i was concerned that the Stone tank was getting flattened, but i did put a bit of that down to his healer being a controller and not a defender, thus the heals not being as much. Good point about that too. Willpower or Invulnerable tanks would be great for the larger spawns!

It was the stage where we take the Pylons out that i was asking about. We have a healer dedicated to the tank who taunts LR while we take the Pylons, but LR is spawning his pets, so many of them that no matter how much you heal the tank he still goes down.

So my question remains, can anyone remember if LR spawns his pets if you DONT attack him at this stage?

I suppose part of the reason for asking is, the first time we ran the TF we know the tank had Mudpots on and LR was spawning pets, but last night the tank said he did not have Mud Pots on, but he still got the huge amounts of spawn.
I think that the tank may have had Mud Pots on and then turned them off too late... thus making the spawn, thus faceplanting when it got too much, thus quitting TF in frustration (much to our dismay.

We will be running the TF again tonight and i'd like to hear from Tankers that have done this stage. Could anyone please confirm, does LR spawn pets when he's not attacked?

Hi all,

I have joined a couple of recent STF attempts and since it's been nearly a year since i done the TF my memory is a little rusty.

Does Lord Recluse spawn his pets when you JUST taunt him? i.e. Mud Pots is off and no attacks are made on him. Just taunt.

The Tankers that have joined us have done really well, but the pets LR spawn have finally beaten them down. I felt sure that if you dont attack LR he wouldnt spawn them, or he just spawns a couple of pets and no more.

Can anyone confirm?
