I didn't have a problem with Penny, I thought it was pretty neat that we got to see her "grow up" (the age retcon is another point of contention though), but it rubbed me the wrong way when it felt like she replaced Sister Psyche as the Token Psychic. I actually liked and miss Psyche, though, so I realize I'm not unbiased. And then I ran SSA 2.1, and she was so frustratingly childish and frankly an a-hole. Yes, by all means, go screw around in a guy's mind just for kicks! A guy who just lost his wife, no less! And then give an insincere fauxpology for it, that's awesome. That soured me on her pretty badly. This is not how you create a sympathetic character, guys. -

Oh, hell. Been off the forums for a couple weeks and just now saw this.
I'm not sure I could say I knew DC *well*, but I played with him on Isos, VoT, and a couple other weekly groups off and on for a few years, and joined him on heal farms back in the day...and teased him all the time about his grumpy-old-man-ness. He was one of the Victory mainstays, somebody you just get so used to seeing around and figure they always will be. And I'm sure he would have, if he could. It's just a little hard to believe his name won't be lighting up on my global anymore.
He will be missed, and my thoughts are with his family and friends. I'll be raising a glass for you, DC.

I'd like to be an alt for this too, I'm trying to get the Master badges on my blaster. I could be convinced to take my ill/kin instead because I love her almost as much as Thess, though. And all this assumes I don't have something going on that I'm forgetting about.

I was going to post in this thread last night, but we got invited to a "come help us drink this wine so we don't have to move it to California" party and by the time I got back, I was in no condition to be coherent Anyway, glee! Wassy, is it okay if I resize the picture (assuming I can figure out how without making it look bad) and use it as my avatar?

I have invented...the BOW-TANA.
Basically, the character is a magic katana/invuln scrapper with the Bow and Arrow temp power from Croatoa. Without having the katana out, if you pull out the bow, the katana comes with it. I have a bunch of other weapon temp powers and it doesn't happen with them, but all the other ones draw with your right hand. I'm guessing it's because the katana and bow are both left-handed weapons. Tested without toggles on, and it happened every time.
Oh, and only tested with the original katana model, since I've never customized that on this character. -

I have no idea what she was set on (it was Consequences of War Pt 1 by @Dalghryn if anyone wants to ask him- and I haven't finished it yet, so Dalghryn if you read this, that's why I haven't sent feedback yet), but Ally AI just generally buggy as hell. Sometimes they randomly decide to stop following you, too.

Yep, looking at City of Data, it has the exact same cast time (3.1s) and recharge (4s) as Clear Mind, so I'm gonna guess it's the same animation. Enforced Morale has a higher endurance cost, but then it does more. CM's cast time has always been redonk so I feel the pain on that one.

Just as a point of note, Witch Engine didn't start this thread and hasn't really advertised the arc. And I doubt very seriously that he regrets making it just because some people didn't like it.
