But, I'm sure this is the appropriate server for such a question.
Say you're orchestrating a roleplay that involves framing someone for a crime of some sort. Is it not the right thing to do to OOCLY ask the person being framed if it's okay to include them in your storyline? Especially in that capacity?
I, personally, think it's bad form to pull someone into your storyline without their consent. Especially when that person's role reflects upon them negatively. What do YOU think, Virtue? -

Thank you all for the responses. I'm going to upgrade to Windows 7 (found out I could get said upgrade for free) so I hope that works out better. But for now, I just REAAALLY wanna go back to Windows XP. This is ridiculous. Another question though. If I install another OS on this computer, it wouldn't wipe the stuff on my system, would it?

Another one of those "Threads that should have never been". I mean, c'mon. Do you really think pissin' and moanin' about not getting the SN YOU want because some other paying customer has it is really gonna make the powers that be purge those names?
What if that name you want is already level 50 but the player decided they don't wanna play anymore? Should that name be purged?
What if they decide after two or three years to come back? They had the name first, they were a paying customer when they got it, what makes you think you're entitled to it just because they're not around.
If I buy a car and I decide to not drive it for a few years, it doesn't mean Tyrone and his girlfriend Quee-Quee from 24th street can just hop in my ride. "Hey, he hasn't driven it in years" isn't a justifiable excuse and the gub'ment damn sure ain't gonna turn it over to 'em.
Silly example aside, OP, get over it already. It's not gonna happen. The last time they done a name purge it was for characters that were level 6 and below. Be satisfied with that much.

Is there a way to make it...oh, I dunno...NOT SUCK with CoH?
Any suggestions? I'd appreciate the assistance. -
People who prey on children deserve to die.
Slowly.
Painfully.
...I'll get the blowtorch... -
These kids would cry if they had more blue sprinkles than pink sprinkles on a damn donut.
**** it, I say. -

ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT...
Whoa...nice place... 10th! -
Nerfing EXP would totally remove all purpose for the Architect in the first place. Many of us visioned 1-50 on our own terms, through OUR story. So what good would it do to completely gimp the most innovative feature of the game because some so-called elists whined about how others spend their 15 bucks.
There was no doubt that it was going to be abused, but farming is just something that comes with any MMO. People are always gonna find a way to do it. Mark my words, folks will always find a way to farm.
Accept that and just LEAVE ATLAS PARK. Damn ya'll, it's that easy. -
B....But Galaxy City is....
Eh, [censored] it. Sounds good to me. -

...I just don't see how this merited his own thread. It's a petty gripe at best. C'mon, you're on a roleplay server. People wanna feel special and grand.
Problem is, most of em suck at doin' it without riding a signature character's coat-tails.
If Statesman and Manticore knew how many illegitimate children they had, they need Chris Jenkins on speed-dial to fight child support claims.
