Yeah, I wouldnt mind a Generic Male/Female statue. I mentioned that. I just thought if all possible to allow them to be customizable so they would be better lol... Maybe a Generic one for now, kinda like the Arcane Control Statue, then later on when they get around to it let it be customizable. I would would be enough to suffice me :-)

Its true. I lose nothing, nor gain nothing. But my Analogy is still a valid one because this is an argument of Time Versus Reward and you cant honestly say it wouldnt upset you. Whether you choose to accept it or not. We dont gain what we have by participating in tournaments or by having more alts or what ever. We get them from Time Subscribed Playing. Your Analogy is flawed XD I do agree with you on one thing though. Futile argument. I believe in earning things in this world, you believe everyone should get what they want reguardless Two different worlds.

Sitting here some 2:30am in the morning... Playing CoX and thinking of all the past good friends and players who have come and gone while I am in my base building. Thinking of the people who have helped me in the past, people that I had made my Super Groups and Vengeance Groups with. People who helped me earn Prestige, taught me the ways of the game, took me under thier wing and helped me progress in the game. Those people who used to be my Leaders and best friends of the VG/SG in which I had inherited now as they have moved on or are no longer with us. For you Vets, I am sure there are many times when you just reflect on where we can from and all those involved in our journey through the years and how we can to be where we are now. I know I do. That is why I would like to suggest Base Memorial Statues.

I would love to have Base Statues we can place in our Bases so we can honor these people who have long since left us. They could be Gold, Bronze, Ivory, Stone or what ever other materials. At thier feet, as they stand on a pedistal, would be a plaque where you can click and read up on the person/statue which can be edited in Base Edit Mode to say what ever you want, at least as long or possibly longer than what you can enter into a normal characters bio. If at all possible, which would give much more meaning and joy to me, you could tailor the statues to look like the player in which you are remembering. Having played for nearly 6 years now, this small addition to the game would mean so much to me and I am sure a lot of other players. Just a little bit of joy remembering great players of the past and to also give more meaning to the members who are new to the Super Group or Vengeance Group as they can read up on the past of how thier SG/VG came to be and what exactly they are a part of. I think it would be a wonderful thing to have.

Hello, my name is Nezz. I am a 63 month Vet. Been playing on Guardian since day one. I believe I got started here by just picking the very first Server on the List when I first started XD. My Global is @Nezz. You can try to add me as a Global Friend, but my List may be full. As far as level 50 channel being private, its nice. Because when you remove some one for being bad, they stay gone from the channel forever and cant harass anyone anymore Instead of everyone having to just put them on ignore or just silencing them to where they can still see whats going on and still annoy players.

I play Red Side about 95% of the time. I only come Blue Side for requested reasons by friends >_>... I also like to stay hidden most of the time too Globally because I dont like to be bothered while I farm Inf or Base Build o_o... Also, its nice to be hidden so I can keep an eye out in the 50s channel for misbehavior >_>....

yesterdays patch may have been for an immediate fix to AE. There was a new exploit on par with the MM exploit. Same amount of rediculous xp, maybe even more than the MM bug.

Ah... I remember everything. I purchased CoX The week it came out. Took it home and to my horror realized my computer couldnt take it.... So I had to wait for six months until I could buy a new computer. So there it sat, on the shelf. I remember looking at the game almost every day, re-reading the manual. Drawing out my characters on paper and giving them names. Planning out builds in my head and on paper. Was a long six months to wait.

Then, finally, a new computer to take it. I loaded it up, logged in. Was so excited finally being able to bring my drawing into "Reality" from concept to computer. My first character, Nezarak, a Controller (ill/FF) was and still is my baby. I remember first logging into Atlas, that Epic Trumpet playing in the backround (Duh Duh Duuuh duhduhduuuuuh) and seeing dozens of 50s sitting in atlas, talking, joking, giving out money to newbies. CoX was my first real MMO Experience as far as playing and liking and learning it. EverQuest 2 was the first MMO I ever played, but I hated it so much it doesnt count >_>...

Oh the stupid things I used to do and say when I first began playing CoX lol. I think for about a year I didnt realize that "mis tell" meant a mistaken message in the wrong channel... I remember always saying, "Who is Miss Tell?"... I remember not knowing that you had to put Enhancements INTO the power slots... I always thought the Enhancement Tray was where they were slotted and the power slots you put on the powers meant that more of the attrributes from the tray went to that power XD...

And of course, I can never forget, all of the good players who have come and gone in the 5 years or so I have been playing. Quite literally 50 or more in my case. Of all of them, I am only in contact with 3 or 4. Better than none I assume. All the good times we had, back in the days when I played 12 hours a day every day with them. All the Super Groups I joined and left as they rose and fell. Vengeance groups as well. Lots of good memories to be had that I will cherish forever.

Then comes the changes, Good and very, very bad as some one said XD Because I am so passionate about the changes, especially the BAD ones >_>.... I will leave it at that lol ... PvP Version 2.0 For Life!!!! 3.0 can suck an egg >_>....

Anyway, for all the new players to the server, Welcome :-) Guardian may have a decreased population, but it most certainly makes up for it will quality players. We all know what we are doing here For all you new players to the server, you guys need to start getting assimulated into the underground network that is Guardian XD I suggest you add "Guardian" and "Level 50" Global Chat channels to your tabs. Sometimes it may appear the server is completely dead, but I can assure you that we are all just hiding from you Getting one (Both prefered) of these channels will definately keep you in touch with current events, teams and TF/SF's going on.

I was very bored today so I decided to walk from Miss Liberty in Atlas Park to Castle in Peregrine Island. Took only side walks and used only cross walks lol... Took me about 1h 32mins and 28 seconds no trains or portals... just walking atlas to sky to talos to PI. On this long walk, I got thinking.... We need a new badge for this amusing new power. Now, before you all start in, Yes I am aware I have no life and just about any other thing you could possibly toss my way XD lol... So, here it is....

The game uses a coordinate system, I was thinking maybe when the power is activated code could track the location and update every second and calculate the distance traveled by the player. Maybe the badge could be attained after about 5 miles? thats the idea.... now..... CONVERSE!

Hello, I was there when this discussion came up. I am Nezz, the channel mod for the level 50's chat channel. There was no promoting of the game. We were talking about new games coming out and I believe we started out with Aeon and I started the convo. I got on and asked where everyone was, then made a comment that they were probly all beta testing Aion as a joke. Then we all began to talk about Aion, then moved onto CO and also talked about DCUO. There was absolutely no promoting going on of any game, just discussion. Those that were talking about CO and giving information was among those who were already interested and looking into trying to game. There was no, "CoX sucks, CO will be great." As I said before, we were talking about other games as well. You must have just came in at the wrong time and I am sorry if you got upset. As far as Garbage in the channel, Kheldarn, maybe a year ago. Now, its no better or worse than the Guardian Channel. You should check it out again, there has been some cleaning up.


tl;dr version: We were not bashing CoX, we were discussion CO, Aion and DCUO and what they have and when they can be played and how. Level 50's chat channel is a good, quality channel. There is no Garbage, has been that way for at least a year now. The channel is full of very intelligent people who enjoy discussion points of views and games.

Yeah, I feel you completly... I think im getting close to inching my way out of the game again myself. August will most likely be my last sub month. My CoX Gameplay these days consists of Logging in, entering my VG/SG Base, finding my nice little spot in the base to park myself... and then chat for about an hour... then log.

I have been debating the SPecial Edition Pre Order... But... I kinda wanna play Aion first before buying it... Otherwise that 1/4th $$$ could better be spend toward my PS3 I been wanting... since it came out . . . &gt;_&gt; . . . *sighs*
