Well Sam you could go DM/DA it has the soul drain,siphon life,and touch of fear(plus some melee).
Dark armor would be good remember it is all res,except for cloak of darkness.
Power pools would of course be fitness(alot of toggles in DA),flight,concealment since you said something about phase shift,and maybe Presence for intimidate and invoke panic.That might free up a toggle(cloak of fear).
If I was you I wouldn't use death shroud or oppressive gloom(frees up a couple toggles) and I don't recall anyone getting stunned or hurt in proximity to a vamp(other then getting torn up or bit).
Brutes are rather limited on somethings,wouldn't have minded seeing BS coming across on the last issue but maybe in the future.

Although,you could go FM and just color is black or blood red,that way you would have a sword too.In addition you could have your "blood fire" w/breath of fire.

Actually there was a conversation some while ago about someone who had so much -neg rep that it was a few blocks of red.

Well Sam you could go troller and do a Mind/Storm w/fitness,speed,fly,concealment,and psionic mastery pools.That way you get the mind/terrify and weather abilities that figure into so many vampire stories.
Don't know about macros but maybe you could have a natural human look and when you wanted fly then hit the mac and transform into a more bat like look.

Or you could go dk/dk/dk defender lotta options there,same pools would apply of course.

You could do a dm/bs/kat or db + da for a scrapper maybe regen just not so shiny unless your goin for a Edward Cullen look() w/dark mastery.

Maybe a da/dm tank.

A dm brute w/either da/inv/wp or sr w/soul mastery.

A dk corr w/storm or dark and soul mastery once again.

A necro/dark or storm mm and GW again.

A dm stalker w/wp/regen/sr/or da lotta possibilities with that if ya think about it.

That's just the off the top of my head stuff I can come up with.So many different stories in various cultures have vampires doing just about anything.Which you have touched base on from media to lore,I think the final decision is yours,you already have some good ideas.
Making the toon and fleshing him out should be fun..gl.

We had no problems on redside Virtue,2 lvl 50's(brute & rad corr) and a 29 necro/poison mm to kill Winter Lord.
The Lord of Winter we ran down to 1 minute and only used 1 nuke.Unknown number of players tho.

Would probably be very tough for lower level toons and less populated servers.Still very fun event, maybe longer timer or weaken the Lord would help.The Guardian was so-so.

Probably Malta/KoA stupid stuns and caltrops.

It's really up to you,and what your at is that will help determine which one you like.

I used to use the Liberate the television mish w/my ss/fa brute but,ran it so much that I can't stand it now.

I form my own teams usually but,if I'm doing a rikti raid then I usually get on someone elses team.

The guy was a jerk pure and simple,I may or may not have responded it depends on what my mood was at that moment.I've been warned in the past about what I have said to people and it really doesn't bug me.

Sounds like to me the the person was on pms and that their life probably sucks,so you should probably pity him/her instead for the lose they could have had of your company and a possible friend.

I made a joker-esque thug/pain mm and named him Larker,I really don't play him too much anymore.The reason being is that I can't shoot my brute from aggro'n multiple mobs.

My original name was Warpact after my global and my first 50 a bots/ff mm,and his original name was Ultron Mark I which got genericed 6 months after he hit 50.

I believe I came up with Warpact because it was a pact of war that my family made,the eldest male in our family has served in every war since the Revolutionary war.But,I broke the pact because I had a daughter and my brother's son is just a little guy.

Can it be used during the flashbacks?Especially when you do "no travel powers" and "AT powers only". I know you can use sprint but,is NR suppressed?

Ok after getting lost in there(first time in).I tried everything I could in lvl range and out, brutes are the weakness for /dark,it was more of a fight for survival then farming.Everything else was ok,overseers took alittle longer.

I wouldn't use /dark,spines was ok alittle too slow in my book for a farm but,I'm comparing my fire/kin speeds(so meh).Plus,my scrapper is frankenslotted and I still had some issues.Like constantly hittin heal,and acouple of rezzes.So hope this helps...
