I highly recommend Drawing The Head And Figure by Jack Hamm.

It has a lot of great tips and practice exercises.

I'm doing a drawing every day, starting on Jan 2nd, hopefully forever. These aren't finished pieces. They're basically doodles, taking <1h time, and of whatever I feel like drawing at the time.

The point is to force myself to draw something as often as possible!
