any tips for ears and neck drawing??
Well first off the ears don't attach to the shoulders... (seriously what were you thinking?)
...errrrrr rather, what Caemgen said, post an example if you want some specific critique. Otherwise simple generalized statements are probably what you'll end up with. Speaking of which...
Eye line and lip line drawn back along the head usually define the top and bottom of the ear (assuming the head is facing you straight on... and the person is not an elf. )... study anatomy and look through photo stocks sites, while every model is different look for what remains constant in all images (about the ears, neck and shoulders) and make sure you convey that in your pieces.
No idea if this helps what you are trying to do or not though.
I highly recommend Drawing The Head And Figure by Jack Hamm.
It has a lot of great tips and practice exercises.
hmm.. nm.. I got it.. thanks for help though
..I seem to have problems getting ears and the neck of my drawings to attach properly with the shoulders..
anyone know any tips for that??
