Don't I have one of your piece to ink, foo?

    [/ QUOTE ]
You're right! I have to send you the big one. Where can I send you the large version?
    Rowr!

    *gasp*
You want me to ink that? I thought I had something from a while back though...

*wonders what my mother would think*

    Can email it to Rowrcoh(at)yahoo.com!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Alright, I'll send it later on today.

I can send a bunch of uninked things for you, too. Go crrrazy.

Got distracted, did this: Cookie WIP!

That turned out really good. That mesh looks hard to draw. But, you know...mesh has a tendency to bunch and stretch anyway...so, just blame that!

    [/ QUOTE ]
It is hard. The worst parts are trying to figure out where the mesh will stretch (like the across the breasts) and bunch (the armpits, waist, etc.) and getting that weird paralax thing going on where you can't see the gaps as well where the arm up pointing at the camera.

    ...I'm having flashbacks.

  4. My problem is my crappy inking skills. I gotta figure out how to do that, or at least how to do a reasonable PS facsimilie.
  5. I'll do one! The link for my characters is currently down, though, so I'll repost when that's sorted.

Do you have a larger pic of yours in the meantime?

Why digital art? Why not a pen and paper? It's the drawing tools of champeens!!!

I do use Paint Shop Pro if I must, but I know a lot of people prefer Photoshop for digital art.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I did drawrrrings in paper once. It was very hard and I kept passing out.

Then I got a pencil and things went better. So that's my tip for the day. Use a pencil or pen and not blood for ink.
  7. Now that's a good DOOOM post.

Well played, Cuppa. Well played. Thanks for unbanning me when I accidentally used that anatomy word that I didn't mean to!
  8. Sure, just say when!

Also: Cookie - done! - Note to all: Don't bother with mesh. It's just not worth it!

I never have gotten along very well with yellow.

I'm having a little trouble with green right now...
  10. Hmm... Ink-Fu, you say... Yes, I shall sup 'pon his brain soon, indeed!

This one I don't quite follow. How did she get stuck like this? Did her heels get stuck in the concrete or something?

    [/ QUOTE ]
  12. I decided if I'm going to actually start taking commissions and doing work for people to make the big BIG money ( ), I should probably learn how to colour properly. So I started practising and I still hate inking.

With that said, I present: uninked art, both pencil and the WIP colouring version!

    Maiden Light b/w
    Maiden Light flat colours

The background is mostly Photoshop monkeybusiness.

I will peeping this intently. So, how's it going to go? You do the lineart, Graver does the paints?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, Foo, the collaboration pieces will feature my amazing penciling skillz with Gill's newly found watercolor talent. Here's out first piece!

    [/ QUOTE ]
    ZOMGAWESOME! WANT!

I love how the girl is afraid of the Mantis, and the clearly phallic nature of the purples in the piece. It speaks to the ever-occuring struggle for the genders to be truly equal, and how our modern society tries to keep us confined into pigeon-holing labels. Truly stunning!

    Attempts...

These are all solid starting places. I think you probably know what you need to work on (like hands, or the lack of them ), so just keep it up! Remember: you have hands yourself, so you've always got a model for them!

Wow Gill that looks REALLY great!!! I love the little animation over on the side too!!! And I'm soooooo glad you and Graver managed to work something out, that's going to be AWESOME!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Lawdy me too Star!!! I know I keep telling him, but I truly am such a huge fan of Graver's work! I'm really looking forward to working together on those pieces

It'd be like Ross painting Hughes' lines!

    pic just pencils

I still don't trust him. He's plotting something.
  17. That pic is from waaaay long ago, probably '04. I happened to run into Sparrowhawk at the enhancement store and there was an odd moment where we looked at each other RP-wise and said, "Oh... So you're a Sparrow Hawk, too..."

    "I like your claws."

    "Nice tights."

(New board changes = bump to my thread, I say!)

These are very good though Star!

    Who hasn't done you yet?

    [/ QUOTE ]

The Harvard all boys Choir !
oh you mean who hasn't drawn him yet

    [/ QUOTE ]
This isn't actually true. Who do you think took the picture that I based my TA sketch on?

Also: chibis are hilariously scary! Keep it up, Star! (I'm also adding your Deviantart to my watch list!)
  19. I'd advise against giant robotic cats. Think about it. How often do giant robots go crazy and turn against their masters? Now think about how fickle cats are and how often they attack you for no reason.

Combining them can lead to no good!
