Scorp - Web Envelope
They are the key patron powers I would say for a NW. However, the whole thing leans on what you have already as NWs are epicly scalable even with their standard powers + pools, most have issues fitting patrons in.
I myself went for gloom on my lovely NW for the DoT, neg dmg type (so a 4th dmg type in his spec), improved ranged chain and for the -acc.
However, web is amazingly helpful if you lack range or vertical movement, plus inhibits runners. Perhaps posty some more info or collar me when on tonight mate @Starscreamer and can weigh it all up -
Should go Rogue asap - especially as we can then write a new chapter of horrific arcana set in the world of CoX

Also make sure the hostages aren't set to fight in any way or are targettable. Also make sure they are set to ally otherwise they may start fights on their own. Perhaps you could try 'chaining' the objectives? Like the after finding the 1st he mentions another person or both further along. Just an idea to mix the mechanics. I would try making 2 normal rescues and one lead out. Do you have a hostile ambush tied to the 1st one? If so the ambush may be showing up and killing the other hostages en route to you.
Also anything set to 'Rogue' may be causing this issue as well by making fights/aggro that was not initially planned. -

Colours alas only. But his AI is unique as uses the PPD Quantum AI but better. He will switch forms basically and use lightform and the nuke.
But if ya creative can make it look way different. Its best option given the limited capability of the MA to do what ya after.
For reference a mate of mine used Arakhn very well. Storywise could say ya pb is working with PPD or its earlier in his career before going it on his own. Just an idea. -

Believe the devs said ages ago that the HEATs and VEATs AIs were too complex to make work right in the MA.
However... you have oodles of options available now you can re-skin NPCs. AV wise ya can use Arakhn (council nictus), Sunstorm (PPD pb), Requiem (council/5th nictus), Romulus (longbow ws - lower lvl range) as well as the Boss rank Nictus and PPD foes. Note the Nictus Bosses cannot be reskinned but the AVs and PPD can be.
Just a few ideas
Also for completeness - VEAT wise theres Arbiter Sands (arachnos both high and low lvl) amongst a few Bane bosses and EBs. -

I know its a foreign and alien concept to add things for the people who can now make their powers migraine inducing to actually go off and dooooooo! But I need things to actually play around with and do rather than spend 30 mins more in the cossie creator, as frankly that won't get me resubbing. I know everyone proports that GR will be the one and everything of the Paragon Universe - but I for one want something to stop me from getting bored as we need things to do or there won't be anyone left for GR!
Of course if they actually do announce something beyond 1 easy TF I will probably be woohooing around the room as I fly around raining death from above.... ahem.... -

That is not at all accurate. Suppose people want eden based maps with escaped mitos say? How about suggesting they alter the rewards? Not like that wouldn't make sense. Surely you like many were whining when the devs removed something you considered to be fun foes like the vast MAJORITY of those who make AE arcs were. I was very annoyed when they removed certain Mothership Rikti as it ruined flow of one of my mishes, yet when they modified the comms officers everyone hailed it as a good thing - which idea makes more sense and annoys fewer people and screws less up for the playerbase? If the devs keep removing the farm flavour of the week we wont have any [self censored] mobs left!!! Will that make you or anyone else happy?
And your comment about the high range Family is horrendously innacurate. The family show up on a number of high-lvl arcs villain side. The TV arc being a major one, or how about the large number of St Martial arcs with them? Especially as there is additional story there and the untapped potential of teh Family World you mention.

And I want a proper Black and White style god hand and icon to come down and rampage only to be severely slapped for disloyalty, kick the globe off of Atlas's shoulders and then after eating a rancid series of rads to expell itself ontop of City Hall. Not to mention hand to monster catch with BAB having a paddy pants cos he's become a tennis ball.

I think most are still making them atm, but I went on test at the time to find out if I could make my 9 mission opus - The Predatar Taskforce - the way I originally intended as I was crippled by file space among other minor limitations.
Fortunately I have now got around to it and made it exactly as I hoped and envisioned from the initial concept
Don't know if it 'pushes the boundaries' or is 'groundbreaking' but I aimed to make something more epic than ITF, LRSF, BTF (barracuda or bison - take ya pick lol) and so on. And yes, its true lvl 50 Villain content thats 2 stories that form a single TF when played in one session. I also tried to use mechanics in unusual ways as lets face it we're all in need of a wakeup from the grind. Links in sig.
For me its a case of someone taking the MA and giving us something we don't see or dont expect - basically something that stands out and makes me go woah! There has been a few arcs that do this but none new since i15 that I've come across. -

You've been able to respec to different patron power pools a long while now whenever you use any form of respec. However, the only element that won't change is the contact themselves as they are tied into Project Destiny ofc.
The scrolling thing - dunno tbh seems to just be one of the many recent bugs to annoy. -
AR still seems a bit iffy in places and certain combos - my AR bosses are still not 100%, still need more testing though.
I have noticed a similar issue with a BS/invun AV I created with wider testing. Turned out he spammed parry for no good reason over and over again. After removing it (he now has 2 BS powers removed total), his AI now works perfectly. There appears to be correlation with AVs spamming self buffing powers until they get a good or max'ed stacking before moving along. Removal seems to augment that and make them more offensively tuned.
BA and Mace seem to both have an occasional AI issue where they get stuck doing the same animation over and over. Experimenting with what powers to remove in order to help their AI and cycling. So far doesn't seem random, it appears to tie to when they have been in sustained one to one combat with only a single chars aggro. When they charge to the next foe they often seem to reset their AI.
Although one bug that is irritating me with weapons - the foe draws their weapon, then puts it away to throw a knife and then gets it out again. I would think the throwing knife would only be when the foe cannot be reached - not when he's standing 10 feet away. -
I've been testing some newly created foes using the 'custom' options that I have craved for so damned long and certain foes with weapons appear to be bugging and not using all the powers they have.
AV - BA/WP
The guy got stuck for several minutes using the tier 1 when he was not debuffed for any form of -rech. I actually desummoned my pets and let my dom stand toe-to-toe to him and he did squat really. Then randomly he seemed to get bored of not hurting me - ran off and charged my teammate and proceeded to wham nearly every power. And then started to spam the tier 1 again for about 30 secs then used others again. Makes no sense as he has other powers thaty are recharged well in time.
Boss - AR/SR
He has tier 1-3, full-auto and flamethrower. He never used anything past tier 3 at all in any of the ones that spawned. Forced and 'regular' spawns.
Other foes in group use AR and don't appear to cycle their powers well. Could be a small bug that was fixed last night, but I wanted to see if anyone else has noticed any sets bugging like this as release notes claim foes will now cycle their custom-selections properly. Also I wonder if this is solely to do with just weapon based sets but the servers went down last night before the re-re-retests were completed.
Naturally, I will test more tonight but I am curious to see if others are experiencing this as ofc servers went down so couldn't submit to support ingame. -

I think many of the people here Avatea will distinctly remember the devs massively hyping i15 an awful lot a long while back to be the BIG be-all-and-end-all issue that we haven't had in a very long time. (I'm at work atm so I can't trawl but certain someone could find an assortment of links and statements to prove that this WAS meant to be the biggy.) No dig at you Avatea, but sadly its just another big yawn for most. While the vill TF is wicked fun (if buggy and obviously not tested enough), its nothing we won't get tired of in a month's time and the last serious content was the RWZ. Thats one hell of a gap. Given all the 5th maps that exist and the new tailored ones many of us are wondering why we haven't got something like a small Axis Earth zone/arc at all.
And yes it is more than the anniversary badges - it was the single biggest badge revoke since I started in i7.
But, instead we'll have to wait for GR and pay for the content we aren't getting for free anymore. -
The prob we had was the ambushes were unrelenting as we couldn't even walk back in the mish after our wipe as they never stopped coming. Ironically when we were fighting Reichs he was actually getting really hurt BAD. But the ambushes overwhelmed us and we never had a chance to recover for about an hour. We spent more time on that than the whole of the rest.
I also noticed no matter what every single time 3 people came out of nowhere and attacked each person - every time. This was ontop of the ambush waves. And there were lots of dubiously dodgy things on it. I noticed the acc and dmg of the 5th was insanely high; I was being mez'd by a single vamp lieut while in domi(!); certain 5th bosses wouldn't mez even with several holds stacked with domi on; and the spawns seemed to far exceed the aggro capping. I counted 10 ambushes just when we were fighting Reich in final room!
And while I like the idea of the TF being made to need ideally 1 of each AT, pigeon-holing the roles is just [insert expletive of choice] idiotic!!! Now more than ever teams are going to be finicky about what they have and all that for 20 merits.
Up until the final cluster-**** by the 5th ambushes this was actually unanimously one of the most fun TFs anyone on my team had ever done and it was tarnished by frankly poor testing and weak mechanics used. When ya factor all the ambushes from the AVs, the continaul running around for them, then fighting Reich and his armada it just felt like an MA mish with just too much going on and too little thought. Especially as there had been some nice unique things in the 4 earlier mishes.
I also wondered why the prior 4 mishes were so ludicrously easy by comparison. Hell we defeated Ms Lib in under 30 secs on 1st mish! Yet 3 normal 5th foes deal more dmg and are a greater threat than one of the games big heroes on the finale!
This was a great TF tarnished by blatantly poor testing - given the lack of info from customer service yesterday, breaking the french and german servers, and frankly lacklustre additions make i15 one of the biggest dissapointments to date.
Such a shame as the 5th TFs would have been ideal as part of a massive content upgrade ala they did with the Rikti. How hard would it have been to add the Axis Earth!?!
That said tonight I intend to rip Reichsman to tiny, tiny pieces for what he did to us last night for no other reason than principle now!
