Any thoughts on including extradimensional races under 'alien?' If so, you might add the Rikti, Hydra, and Rulaaru.

I had my progress bar in view as I visited what I thought was every location, while checking both Vidiotmaps and ParagonWiki. I don't know what more I can do.

This badge is incredibly frustrating to try and get. As far as I can tell, I've visited all 19 locations necessary to get it. Is there anything I might be doing wrong that might result in me missing any badge credit, or are there any known bugs regarding the badge?

I'm starting to think that trial versions of critters porting over to non-trial content is something that development's overlooked for a few issues now. I've been hearing that high-level Primal DE have higher ToHit values like their Praetorian counterparts...

I have XP, but I'm not sure if I want to install anything on my computer until I've got some other issues with it resolved. You can go ahead and post those links, though.

Quote:Ah, yeah, I see now that that's what you recommended when I was trying to get rid of Candy-Stripe World.Oh. There's your problem. Antique video card. Probably running newer drivers as well.
For that old of a card I generally stick with the 197.45 drivers that were the last WHQL drivers released before the 2xx.xx series of drivers.
Assuming I figure out how to install the old drivers on my system, are there going to be any new issues as a result of that? -
Quote:If your character won't speak, audibly or psychically, then it has to write things down. If it won't write things down, it has to resort to pantomime.Yeah, about that - I actually considered it, but it doesn't work with the character concept. See, Star is VERY reclusive.
...
Star just doesn't feel right dealing with people. If she's left to her own devices, she'd just hide out in a cave by herself.
Regardless of how reclusive your character may be, if its goals require some manner of communication with the locals, then that communication has to happen somehow; whatever is driving it to meet these goals must make it happen against your character's normal tendencies; otherwise, they can't meet these goals and the concept won't fly at all.
Quote:For instance... OK, think of any typical emo anime protagonist, say Squall Lionheart, and how they just don't speak with people most of the time. You tell him something, he just goes "........." That's what I want to achieve.
Besides, do you really want to create a "typical emo anime protagonist" as anything other than a parody? -
eeeuuurrruuuuhhh Well, I have an AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core and an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE. The motherboard might be 64-bit, for all I know.

Here are some screenshots:
Windows at night; note how lit windows further in the distance appear normal:
Smoking lava:
DUST Rifle; note how the tubes on the bottom don't have the same problem:
What's goin' on here? Are these different issues, or all the same? -
Quote:The Half-Life script is written explicitly to keep things moving without Gordon having to say a single word; the dialogue wheel hadn't been invented yet.I guess my question is what do I need to do in THIS game to replicate Gordon's success?
Just give your character something to write or type on. -
Quote:I doubt it, it's just something dapper to wear. You know, there's part of me that hopes it's Nemesis, and there's a part of me that hopes it's anyone but Nemesis. (Although I have to wonder if the flunky wearing the steampunk vest is supposed to be a sort of clue...)
Quote:Also, for those who've done it heroside and gotten the vision of a 'ghostly woman and a man in armor... who shake hands, the man looking grim.' My first thought was Numina and Positron... but I'm not too sure.
No, there's someone standing behind the partition, too. You can maybe see the toe of one of his boots if he stands in a certain way during one part of the cutscene. -

When you agreed to subscribe, OP, I'm pretty sure you agreed to accept any and all downtime that Paragon decides is necessary.

Quote:Well, looking over the article again, it doesn't say that they're actually being given orders by the Well. They might just be annoying groupie stalkers.I'm confused. I thought Tyrant was the Well's champion. Why now is the Well suddenly trying to punish him?
But I haven't run through the new arcs on Beta at all, so what do I know. -
Quote:If they made it a Hair slot, it might end up clipping with jackets and robes or whatever. Please god. I am PRAYING we get that piece, even if we get nothing else.
...of course, if we get NOTHING else I'm going to be mad... LOL
If they made it a Shoulder or Chest slot, then wut?
Also, your quote and your sig kinda make me lol. -
Conveniently-placed hair is a go.
Also, that first pic. -
True enough. I know at least one person in my regular global that doesn't like beating up heroes and will only play red content, if any at all, that won't pit him against said heroes.
-
Quote:Mortimer Kal.So lets talk about redside, we have some major problems here, because of the way the game has been over the last few years, redside has undergone some major decrease is players.
...
SF's MUCH less rewarding for the time that hero Tf, and less of them. A good example of this is the Renault and moonfire TF's. Renault not only takes longer but rewards less... Why is this and its not just this TF, another good example is september strike targets Renault comes up again and ice mistral twice.... This one is somewhat fixable, they arent going to add any new villian Sf's as long as the player count is low
Technically, the Apex and Tin Mage TFs are villain-playable as well.
Quote:I think its many people perception
Because whats the population now, 3 to 1, 4 to 1, Blue to red?
This dead horse isn't going to get any more dead no matter how much you beat it. -

Quote:Ahh, I thought I recognized Eastgate Heights when they showed us that pic the first time around. Also, at the panel, I recall them mentioning that the lava-filled/Mordor-looking screenshot is actually The Hollows. I'm assuming it's an instanced version and not a full revamp.
Also, I'm pretty sure that's the Haunted Mansion from Banjo & Kazooie. -

Not quite. Consider that villain who may do things you 'kind of, sort of agree with', but for selfish motives you despise.
When building a villain, or any character, really, you have to consider not only what their actions may be, but also their motivation.
Or, consider that the hero 'kind of, sort of agreeing with' the villain's actions is on the verge of becoming a villain themselves.
