Oh no, you shouldn't leave pvp because of people like this. Just use their insults/taunts/broadcast banter to broaden the smile on your face when you show them their own beating heart. Beauty to me in pvp is letting my actions speak for me, and if they have been a loudmouth then occasionally a fitting quip when your standing on their dying body

Read the whole of this thread and thought before that stalkers should not be able to one shot in pvp, and am gald they are changing it so that you can't. Saying that people really could help themselves more. It amazes me how many people I fight just stand there after I have AS-ed them, as if somehow my next move will not be Placate and use my next best attack for a critial. A lot of people also stand still for a lot longer than they think, they may think they are moving about a lot but when you are watching as a stalker you realise just how little a lot of people move when they pvp. Many also seem to think that because they are in a group with other heros nearby that they are relativly safe from a AS..not true, unless there is a keen eyed kinetics peep or everyone is within some aura, I will chance it. Keeping on the move also does not mean simply running around a little within a 15 metre mental box or running around in a circle as it is quite easy to still time AS to hit someone doing this. It also amazes me how many people still have their 'typing' box above their head when they are in pvp, this, a lot of the time is like waving a red flag to a stalker. It's probably not a good idea to start a fight with npc's when you know there is a stalker about too, as I saw some doing last night. (And I'm not talking about battles).

When they nerf stalkers to not be able to one shot (which I agree with) people will still complain. And if they then nerf them again, so that their damage is lower from AS, people will still moan. It is my guess that these same people will get AS striked no matter what. Which begs the question, what needs changing, AS or these people's tactics which mainly involves standing still with a 'Shutup I'm typing here' box above their head.

I remember not choosing the respec in coh the first time as I didn't see the top option and thought you got it automatically. I cried like a baby also when I did select it the second time, but forgot completely to add a travel power

Aye good point. Once AS has been nerfed so that it will not be possible to kill someone in one strike, I don't see there being much difference between any damage dealing AT with invis and a stalker, bar placate and being able to hit for critials when hided. A blaster can take my stalker down in less than 5 seconds if they know what their doing and I'm not quick enough.

4 man team because like you say the last part of the mission. I am looking for as few vines as possible, sure it will work out the same if say you had 40 vines with 4 people attacking them or 80 vines with 8 peple attacking them, and an 8 man team would be fine if people could stay the hell together. Nothing against MM's, just wanted quick damage dealers.

Post here if you wish to join a respec for 1pm 28th Nov. Only looking for 3 other's who are lvl 28 and either brutes, corrupters, or stalkers (to make a four man team).

Why did you get Stealth and Invis? For pvp?

I got energy aura and although it helps, the only shield I really feel I need is the entropy shield which protects against sleep and holds etc. Energy aura is an odd one for stalker, but I picked it cos it fits my character more than the rest. Kinetic shield helps sometimes when you AS a nasty boss and he hits you before you can placate as it takes some of the damage. I don't know about the effectivness of energy aura's when slotted for defense to a large amount though. All I know is if I start counting on my shields to keep me alive if a sitution goes bad...I'm probably dead anyway.
