Hey! It has been absolutely ageeeees since I last posted any of my artwork on the forums... mainly because I've been busy with my a-levels... art a-level has to be the most time consuming thing ever!!!

Anyway I've drawn up two new art pieces of two of my most favourite toons! I've used black indian ink... although I was tempted to colour them, I think they work better being simplistic!

So here are their in-game looks:

I've re-rolled my Storm/Psychic to a Cold/Psychic... seems to have really good synergy!

Snowstorm, Sleet, Psychic Scream and Psionic Tornado will have some amazing -rech going on!!!

The only thing I've found would be that it is going to be rather hard to slot all the power effectively... although I think it will be a rather fearsome set of powers for both PvE and PvP

If you're worried about mez protect vs Ghost Widow, a Sonic will also do. As will any buffer.

I miss seeing so many Empaths around! Back in the day they were plentiful... now its just all Kinetics

I'd offer up my lvl50 Illusion/Sonic if you needed extra Mez protection... although he needs a respec and a bit of love in terms of IO's!

Also, if Dark Servant's holds are sufficient enough for me to remove Petrifying Gaze, that would be grand as it would allow me an extra choice in terms of power selection (ie: Temp Invul ). will have to research on it a bit more.

Yep haha the "Howling Twilight Fall and Splatter" as I like to call it is very handy... not so much on Mez protected enemies but if you get a squishy trying to flee from you it makes quite a nice finale piece!

Ermm I've tried looking up about Dark Servants hold being stronger but couldn't find anything... doesn't matter too much though, like I said he does spam it frequently enough for you to be able to skip it

Also no need to get Phase Shift... I've slotted CJ/SJ with a Stealth IO and coupled with Shadow Fall you get some nice stacked stealth

Right my best advice on the Dark side of things would be to drop Petrifying Gaze... this is just my opinion and I know it is an awesome Single Target Hold. However, your Dark Servant will spam it frequently enough for you to get away with not using it, so you can concentrate on spamming Fearsome Stare. I'm not 100% sure but I think the Dark Servant version of Petrifying Gaze might have a slightly higher Mag anyway

Howling Twilight is very yummy in PvP... I've often found it most useful in zones. A sneaky trick you might want to try is to catch your enemies while they are up high in the air (either flying or jumping). If you hit them with Howling Twilight and your disoriantate is strong enough then they should fall helplessly and loose a nice chunk of health from the impact of landing... thats when you swoop in and go wild finishing them off

Other than that pretty much all the powers from Dark Miasma are well equiped for PvP... I'd also suggest you slot your Fearsome Stare with "Glimpse of the Abyss" IO set, the chance for Psionic damage is a lurvly bonus!

I don't think it will change PvE all that much. There are plenty of enemy factions with Psi Resist out there anyway.

As for the new secondary... my guess is it will be some sort of Mind Manipulation. There are plenty of Psychic powers to make up this set and if I recall one of the red names mentioned they'd created a totally new power to go in the secondary set anyway

I don't think it is going to be as much of a big deal as many people are making it out to be... I'm far more scared about the possibility of Fire or Electric Scrappers

I think Earth Control is more likely for Dominators as Illusion doesn't really benefit much from Domination since it only really has 3 true "control" powers being Blind, Flash and Spectral Terror! Shame though because an Illusion/Psionic Domi would make an awesome concept
