EBs are a joke 99% of the time for my fire/ice/force blaster. Sure, I have to use Geas/Eye of the Magus/Force of Nature, but those are in-game mechanics designed for players to use in extreme situations. AVs are something I haven't quite tackled, but I can't imagine I'm that far off from soloing at least 1 of them.

yep, there's many an EB as well that have no ranged attacks. Chilblain is perfect for an easily survived solo battle. I can't remember if AVs are easily immobilized.

this. with a moderately good defense build (sets giving 15-20% ranged defense), and the rest focused on +recharge bonuses, you can plow through 6-man spawns with little difficulty.

Notably, I've never done this, but I know that with a crashless nuke there's no loss of dps (the rest of the sets you'll have to slow down)

Well, slowing down blaze would decrease performance in PvE, but in PvP that would increase the damage done, so the devs have to moderate that. I can guarantee it won't take 3 seconds to get blaze off even if they increase the time
