One of life's deep questions has been solved for me now. Yes, I really have been wondering whether Zwillinger has twins.
  2. It's a question that just came up on the help channel, and it's also one that's been vexing me.

How do you change the language?
  3. Hello again, people. Sorry for the delay- I had a bit of computer trouble.

Unfortunately, there were way, way, WAY too many zeroes. Between 2 and 4 too many!

I think I'll give 150 mil back if they own up. Rest, after Wenthworth's fees, is mine! Mine, I tell you! MINE!

Then you can spend the inf with a clean conscience.

Besides, if you buy and sell enough, you'll be on the other side of that transaction someday. (I'm looking at my own, recently acquired, very very special, set of three 21-million-inf Deific Weapons. They're WORTH more than yours. They're BETTER.) It all works out eventually.
This idea makes sense to me. Money PLUS clear conscience? I like it!

Kitsune Knight Nope! Neither is the right answer.
  4. Hello there, I need to return something...

I sold something for 200,000,000 while I was logged off. It must obviously have been an overbid!

I hate to disappoint you all, but I'm not going to declare what it was yet. I'm hoping the customer will turn up here and be able to identify their purchase, so that I can give some of the money back.

*taps foot as money burns in pocket*
  5. Twilight Grasp has a narrow radius. Please for the love of Heaven, do not ask for a heal while running away from me. Either run away and rest, or stay near to me, and hope I hit an enemy, and heal you.
  6. Above posters want "disguise", maybe?

    Defenders

I slotted heal for heal, not range.
(a defender with healing aura of some kind and a separated team)

    That was the anchor... Run!

And of course, the ever popular,

    I'm not a healer!
  7. Good Luck and I hope this thread is successful.

Moreover, you can fly and snipe some enemies in PvE exterior. That last use is very situational, but still...

    [/ QUOTE ]
And you'll need to be able to defeat the target with your first snipe. Otherwise you have to either chase or be within range of your non-snipes (ie. within range of return fire).

Don't forget that most mobs beyond the newbie areas have longer base range than Blasters using similar attacks.

    [/ QUOTE ]
This was how I soloed a hunt mission on Striga. Defeat 15 Council in the Bog, I think. I used Hover, not fly though.

Most of the time, I do defeat the target with my first snipe. That's what it's for, isn't it? If I don't, it doesn't take much to finish them off.

    Get rid of snipe? Nooooooo!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Snipes suck, especially with ED in the picture.

    [/ QUOTE ]They do?

Aren't they kind of what being a blaster is about?
A blaster = ranged, high damage dealer.
Snipe = highly ranged, very high damage attack.

    [/ QUOTE ]
With a crappy activation time, interruptability and slow recharge.

Over time a snipe attack will deal less damage than most other attack powers, it won't fit all that well into an attack chain and it will rarely turn the tide in a battle (as a nuke would). All in all, you're better off picking a secondary attack unless you're going for concept.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I can't dispute the activation time, but one interrupt time and one recharge enhancement have dealt with the others.

I suppose it depends how much value you put on being able to hit things from very far away. For me, my snipe begins my attack, by getting rid of the most troublesome criminal in the group. Like Earth Thorn Casters.

    3) You prolly want to skip on attack to free up more slots. Statics charge or Zapp seem like good choices to skip.

Anyway your build isnt bad. I would just focus more on end drain, and less on utility (like a snipe attack).

[/ QUOTE ]Get rid of snipe? Nooooooo!

I find builds hard to read but it looks to me like you have only two end mods in short circuit and an empty slot. Put three in.

If that and power sink are three slotted, your end-drain needs are met superbly.

Short circuit recharges fast, or at least it's there by the time I need it again, so I don't think you need a recharge.

Male figures have jiggery squat for leg options, all you get is a pair of skintight pants. You don't feel barbaric, you feel like you're a stripper whose trousers were stolen at his last gig. Fur boots? Heavens no. Fur cloak? Nothing there.

    Healing Aggro?

    [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
Depends how you're healing. When Doctor T. Tree, a dark defender, heals by stealing the lifeforce of her enemies and redistributes it to herself and any allies within a certain distance, she probably aggravates her enemies quite a bit.

Would that count as healing aggro?

    [/ QUOTE ]
That's not healing aggro as such, that's aggro from affecting an opponent with a power.

Twilight Grasp and Transfusion both inflict a condition on an opponent as well as heal (if they hit). You get aggro because you hit an opponent with a power, not because you're healing.

    [/ QUOTE ]Boring.

However, although boring, the truth makes more sense.

Tsoo Sorcerors aggro me when I see them healing something, unless they are confused and healing me.
  15. What should I do with non-mezzing enemies before level 32? Follow the tank, again? Sorry if it's a stupid question but I'm much more used to being a blaster.

I would love to be able to leave bad teams, but I feel mean and unheroic.
  16. on the plus side, I've only had one set of "heal plz", "PlZ", "HEAL".

From reading these forums and listening to defenders on my team complaining about bad experiences, I thought that would happen constantly. I haven't been asked, "cn u heal?" either.

Had someone who apparently assumed I was an empath and didn't realise I had to be in range of enemies to heal.

    Pretty good so far!

    EDIT: I'm security clearance 22
  17. Thank you all of you.

That helps. So far, I've found that people ignore me when I say keep together, in range for me and I'm going for a personal record in losing anchors.

    3 seconds at the moment!
  18. I'm a dark/dark defender and quite often my team splits up, meaning that they are out of range of Twilight Grasp. Also, I prefer not to have to divide my debuffs between groups.

When I pick who to focus on, who should I choose, in general?

In specific incidents, it's been easy to tell (tanker who took no defences, and so needed my debuffs and heals most), but which AT(s) should I normally assume needs me most until I see evidence to the contrary?

    Sorry if I've been unclear.
